I’m currently working with a multi-property Mews PMS client who is exploring whether a single login can be used across multiple Mews POS properties, which they will all be using.As it stands, my understanding is that each property requires a separate login, and that the same email cannot be used across multiple properties, which in practice means managing several email accounts to access different POS setups.

Guten Morgen Community!Arbeitet jemand mit Procentric und TigerTMS für die Verknüpfung von Netflix etc. mit MEWS?Wir haben das System gekauft und teils auch schon in Nutzung, sind aber mit dem Support unzufrieden.

How can we charge a fee for reminders without adding a product to every single reminder? Is there a quicker way to add it?

We operate a contactless hotel and are running into a recurring issue with last-minute bookings being assigned to dirty rooms in Mews.We do not have every room cleaned daily, but we consistently have multiple clean and inspected rooms available to accommodate these bookings. The problem is that Mews does not provide an option to prioritize clean rooms during the assignment process. The only available options are top-down, bottom-up, or randomized, which results in guests occasionally being assigned to rooms that are not ready.Given that room status (clean/inspected/dirty) is already tracked in the system, it seems like a basic requirement that last-minute bookings be assigned to a clean or inspected room by default.This is creating operational issues for us and negatively impacting guest experience and reviews. Because we operate without a traditional front desk, we do not always have the ability to manually reassign rooms, especially for after-hours bookings.

Hey zusammen,wir versuchen schon seit längerem die Anzahl der Produkte nach Alter in einer Visualisierung in MEWS BI zu bauen.Uns geht es vor allem um die Anzahl der Gäste mit Frühstück (Produkt) bzw. Halbpension (Produkt), der Aufbau (und die Zahlen) sollte derselbe sein wie im Produktbericht. Da die age categories aus dem PMS nicht in Mews BI verfügbar sind, muss es nach dem tatsächlichen Alter sein. Falls jemand hiermit Erfahrung hat, freue ich mich auf Rückmeldung. Danke, Adrian

Hallo zusammen,ich bin gerade etwas ratlos, vielleicht kann mir hier jemand weiterhelfen, da ich über den Support bisher keine Lösung gefunden habe.Für meine Buchhaltung benötige ich einen Bericht, in dem der Gesamtumsatz sauber nach 7 % und 19 % für MEWS POS und PMS aufgeschlüsselt ist. Im aktuellen Buchhaltungsbericht werden jedoch auch die Zimmerbuchungen berücksichtigt, die zusätzlich im POS-Bericht erscheinen, sodass es zu doppelten Umsätzen kommt.Hat jemand einen Workaround oder kann mir sagen, wie ich die Filter so einstellen kann, dass ich im PMS einen Bericht erhalte der mir genau das zeigt?Vielen Dank vorab und liebe GrüßePaul

Monat 3 seit der MwSt für Speisen in Deutschland. Es war ein toller Release, Upsells auf Basis des von Gast gebuchter Rate verwalten zu können. Für einige kurze Wochen konnten wir unser Frühstück vor dem Check-in im Gästeportal bewerben, was sich deutlich auf unsere im Voraus gebuchten Frühstücke auswirkte (Positiv für die Planung). Dann kam die neue MwSt für Speisen. Wir haben das Upsell in unserer Buchungsmaschine für Raten ohne Frühstück entfernt, da die Gäste nicht verstanden haben, dass sie sowohl Speisen als auch Getränke Produkte hinzufügen müssen. Unsere Frühstücksvorbuchungen sind deutlich zurückgegangen.Beim Berliner Roundtable im Januar gab es einen Hinweis auf eine mögliche „Produktbündel“-Funktion. Ist das noch im Gespräch oder hat jemand inzwischen einen anderen Workaround?

We are mostly going to use it for our group reservations.Our cancellations rules today are based on how many room nights that are booked. 100-199 room nights have a 90 days cancellation, 51-100 have 60 days cancellation ect.A 60 day cancellation would look like this: Up to and until 60 days prior to the first arrival day – all reserved rooms can be cancelled without any cancellation fee being applied.After the above deadline, the client can cancel a maximum of 70% of the original order as follows:After 60 days and up to 40 days prior to the first arrival day 70% of the original number of rooms can be cancelled without any cancellation fee being applied.After 40 days and up to 20 days prior to the first arrival day, 40% of the original number of rooms ca

Hi Everyone!We have recently set up the MEWS KIOSK in our Tablet and I wanted to ask, if there is a way to disable the automatic check in after filling up the details and signing the digital card? We just want to use the app just as a digital registration card. Hi there, we have recently implemented Revinate CRM which integrates with MEWS.  I understand that there are many MEWS/Revinate customers.We have had various serious and concerning issues (mostly around features defined in the sales deck not being in the actual product) but we have serious concerns around their subscription status integration logic with MEWS.Their set-up is such that if an existing subscribed guest booked with MEWS, but did not check the opt in to emails GDPR comliant box, Revinate unsubscribes the guests.This strikes us as incredibly odd - as it is makes no commercial sense (high value guests and engaged guests are being unsubscribed) but it does not align with GDPR as the guest is not making an active, explicit decision to unsubscribe.We have spoken to Revinate and they have given us a few options:1. to move to another consent logic - to bring all through as Implicit Consent (we woduln’t be able to email them anyway as they’r

I am surprised that I couldn’t find any thread discussing this issue.Maybe I am the only one with this problemFor the past month, I’ve tried everything, but Booking.com continues to remove all links from every email we send. This prevents us from sharing the online check-in link or Mews Messages link with our guests.My booking.com account manager suggested writing out the link instead of using a button, but that didn’t work either.I even added the „app.mews.com“ link to Booking.com whitelist - „your approved links“The account manager is aware of the issue but hasn’t provided a solution.Does anyone know a solution to this issue? 

Is there an automatic possibility to issue all invoice at once?

Hallo liebe Community,seit der neuen Ledger-Funktion haben wir ein Problem mit den ausstehenden Salden.Bisher haben wir die Gegenkonto-Funktion immer als Abgleich und Kontrolle für offene Rechnungen genutzt. Seit dem letzten Update werden jedoch bei Erstattungen und Gutschriften diese Positionen weiterhin mit unterschiedlichen Salden angezeigt, anstatt – wie zuvor – mit 0 Saldo ausgeblendet zu werden.Ein Beispiel habe ich im Anhang beigefügt.Da wir dieses Tool in der Buchhaltung als Übersicht für offene Rechnungen verwenden, befürchten wir, dass die Liste durch weitere Gutschriften zunehmend „zugemüllt“ wird und der Überblick verloren geht. Vom Support wurde uns bereits ein Workaround über Excel empfohlen, was in der täglichen Praxis allerdings wenig sinnvoll erscheint.Hat jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen

The registration card includes a section for place of birth. I would like to know if it is possible to generate a monthly report using that information from the registry.

Hallo,gibt es eigentlich mittlerweile eine Lösung um zu sehen wie viele Zustellbetten man noch zur Verfügung hat bzw. das man die Anzahl der verfügbaren Zustellbetten hinterlegen kann? Wir setzen uns im Moment immer eine Aufgabe. Aber das wird leider zu schnell unübersichtlich. 

Can i ask what you use to check new reservations on day to day basis? Per now, there is no notifications on new reservations from day to day.  Since Mews allocates rooms automatically - it would be nice to have a popup or donut in the dashboard for “new reservation” on day to day basis.  Mews have notification for future reservation that gets booked - but this doesnt help day to day front office.  Best regardsHaris - Ole Bull Bergen, Norway
