Hallo zusammen,wir beobachten aktuell ein Problem mit den Links zum Gästeportal in unseren Bestätigungs- und Check-In-E-Mails und würden gerne wissen, ob andere Häuser ähnliche Erfahrungen machen. Das Problem: Obwohl die E-Mails frisch versendet wurden (oft erst wenige Minuten alt), führt der Button "Zur Buchung gehen" bei vielen Gästen direkt auf eine Fehlerseite mit der Meldung: „Ihr Link ist abgelaufen. Sie erhalten einen neuen Link per E-Mail...“.Die offiziellen Mews-Fristen (24h nach Ende der Reservierung oder 4 Wochen nach Versand) greifen hier offensichtlich nicht. Der Link scheint bereits beim ersten Klick als "abgelaufen" markiert zu werden.Verschärfung durch Zustellungsverzögerung: Unsere internen Tests und das Feedback von Gästen haben zudem gezeigt: Klickt der Gast auf der Fehlerseite auf den Button, um einen neuen Link anzufordern, dauert es zwischen 20 u

Hallo zusammen,wir haben aktuell ein wiederkehrendes Problem in Mews und würden gerne wissen, ob andere Betriebe das ebenfalls beobachten.Bei uns kommt es regelmäßig vor, dass Rechnungen beim Erstellen bzw. Laden im Steuerregister hängen bleiben. In dieser Zeit können die Rechnungen weder per E-Mail versendet noch ausgedruckt werden. Teilweise dauert die Bestätigung nur ein paar Sekunden, teilweise aber auch mehrere Minuten oder sogar Stunden. Besonders häufig tritt das Problem gefühlt am Wochenende auf.Die Meldung lautet dabei:„Deine Rechnung wird angezeigt, sobald wir eine Bestätigung vom Steuerregister erhalten haben. Einen Moment bitte.“ Für den operativen Ablauf an der Rezeption ist das inzwischen ziemlich problematisch, weil Gäste auf ihre Rechnung warten und der Check-out unnötig verzögert wird.Daher unsere Fragen in die Runde: Hat jemand von euch aktuell das gleiche Problem?

Hallo, wir haben die Frage ob es Möglich ist in den Belegungskalender irgenwie Messe Termine, Schulferien etc einzutragen - vielleicht kann uns jemand helfen ? 

Is there a way to let MEWS know that we are in Canada and that an address should be :Door number/civic address, street name, province/state, country, postal code?At the moment, it automatically reverts to :street name, door number/civic address, province/state, country, postal codewhich makes any exported list useless to convert to automatic mailing or for import to another software. We are manually correcting any issues we come across, but as soon as we use the Search function, it reverts to the incorrect adress when completing the boxes

Via Peppol mogen alleen XML-bestanden worden verstuurd. Om toch een PDF mee te sturen, moet deze geëmbed worden in de XML (gecodeerd), zodat er technisch nog steeds slechts één XML-bestand wordt verzonden.Helaas is het niet verplicht om een pdf mee te sturen via Peppol. Daarom vraag ik of het mogelijk is om toch telkens de PDF te embedden in de XML?Zonder pdf is het voor onze klant moeilijk om facturen te lezen, te controleren en te boeken. 

We use MEWS Payments as as payment processor and we use Siteminder’s Booking Engine - Direct Book as our Booking Engine.  The issue is that Siteminder only payment form only acts as a ‘payment window’ to collect card details but doesn't actually action the payment or as you would expect connect to MEWS Payments to process the payment during the booking process.We have spoken to Siteminder and their response is it is up to us to do manually.  Once the bookiing comes through MEWS Payments automatically processes payments which is fine, the issue is that the Siteminder Payment Window will accept any card and process and confirm bookings using the card that is entered, meaning that invalid and expired cards can be entered and  booking confirmation issuesd.  Leaving our Front of House with an admin and payment headache.  Surely Siteminder’s payment window should just connect to MEWS Payments at the point of sale?We have spoken to Siteminder

Hi everyone.  I’m the Finance Manager at Trinity Wharf in Tauranga, New Zealand.  We are looking to make contact with Mews users in New Zealand and Australia, so would be super pleased to chat with anyone local to ask questions around user/accounting issues we have, and to see if there are things we could be doing better.

Is there a way to send a confirmation from the availability blocks before the rooms are picked up? with a summary of total rooms blocked of each category. Price per night and total price for entire booking?

Hi,I'm experiencing issues with the new email confirmation template from use. For the reservation details and pricing summary I use the default settings.My problem is that every nightly/daily service/product is added on it's own row. With bookings of multiple rooms and long stays, the confirmation becomes enormous and hard to read. I would like to have these nightly products grouped per item instead of each nightly item on a separate row.Currently, under extra's it lists all extra's (dog per night) without a price per room/reservation.Then under Pricing summary it lists every nightly item on its own row. This includes room price per night, city tax per day, dog per day etc.having these two enormous lists underneath eachother makes it hard to read. Example: I would like to go from this:nightly stay 100nightly stay 100nightly stay 100city tax 3city tax 3city tax 3dog 20dog 20

Howdy folks!We have a boutique resort with a day spa and bistro (breakfast, lunch, high tea, and pop up dinners). I say in a micro learning video that you can use bookable services and spaces for day use items but struggling to find any use cases and best practices in terms of structure. Key questions:How would you set up dining spaces so that you can take multiple reservations in the dining room for the same time? Would we need to create a space for each table? How do you manage therapist availability in the spa booking aspect? Is there a way to easily copy existing products from other bookable services? For dining, would we need to create a separate rate for each type of(breakfast, lunch, etc) or would they be upsells for a dining rate?Examples from teams actually using this feature this way would be great. NOTE: We are in the US so POS and Events are not released here yet. Dear Mews team First of all, 6 years ago when we switched to Mews, it was because of the modern platform with most functions ready to use for one price.Over the years we saw improvements, especially due to the fact that Mews software engineers started listening to people working at full service hotels with real staff and real guestsI fully understand that improvements have to be continued and that efficiency is kingI really thought that paperless is going to be the future, so I am very surprised to see what will be happening to the Reservation report which we all find on main commander screenOn screen it is REALLY useful.All our staff can quickly see what happened in the last hour, and for additional enquiries there are filters (top). Easy to edit and make changes (there are always changes)Several points I wish to mention and hope that actual reservation report stays as it is, or improvements will be implemented asap in the new

Hallo!Kann mir jemand einen Tip geben. Ich soll laut Datev die Verfolgung der Forderung deaktivieren. Ist das notwendig? Da ich dann ja auch über MEWS keine Zahlungsverfolgung mehr habe?

Dear team,Previously, when managing a reservation via the status screen, it was easy to click on the customer name for his/her details, and simply press the ‘back/return’-button to go back to the status screen.This handy feature existed until not so long ago, but now seems to have gone.Would it be possible to re-introduce this ‘back/return’-button on the customer profile (linking back to the status page of the reservation)?

Hallo,wir haben leider ein paar Rechnungen, welche trotz mehrfacher Zahlungserinnerugen aus Mews heraus nicht beglichen wurden. Jetzt wollen wir einen offiziellen und rechtskonformen Mahn-Prozess (1. Mahnung, 2. Mahnung., 3. Mahnung usw. ) für die entsprechenden Rechnungen starten.Aus Mews raus ist dies ja meines Wissens nach nicht möglich. Dies geht auch so aus bisherigen Community Beiträgen hervor, welche ich gelesen habe.Ich suche jetzt also eine simple, schlanke, unkomplizierte Marketplace Anbindung/Intergration, die nichts weiter als meinen Mahnprozess abbildet. Ohne viele Kosten bzw. umfangreichen Setup-Aufwand zu verursachen. Kann mir hier jemand einen guten Tipp geben?LGNiclas

Hallo zusammen 😊seit der POS-Netzwerkumstellung am 24.02.26, zu der wir bereits seit Monaten die entsprechenden E-Mails erhalten hatten, haben wir leider Probleme mit unseren Handgeräten.Während ich noch auf eine Rückmeldung vom Support warte, wollte ich einmal in die Runde fragen, ob jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen macht.Immer wieder passiert es, dass beim Buchen eines Essens auf einen Tisch und dem anschließenden Absenden das Handgerät abstürzt (man muss sich neu anmelden).Das Essen wird zwar im System gebucht, jedoch wird kein Bon gedruckt – was im vollen Wochenendbetrieb natürlich schnell zu Chaos führt.Das Problem tritt mehrmals täglich auf, jedoch nicht bei einem bestimmten Gericht, an einem bestimmten Ort oder auf einem bestimmten Gerät – es wirkt eher zufällig.Wir haben bereits die App-Daten der Geräte komplett zurückgesetzt, leider ohne Erfolg.Hat jemand von euch ein ähnliches Problem oder vielleicht sogar eine Lö

Can anyone recommend (physical) ID scanners that work well with the Mews kiosk? I have experience with AdriaScan and 365id (both have their up- and downsides), but not in combination with kiosk check-in. I am aware that Mews offers ID scan via the camera, but in my tests, it didn’t work very well. 

Wie haben heute festgestellt, dass generell keine EC Karten am Mews Terminal funktionieren. Wie handhabt ihr das, wenn Gäste mit eine gewöhnlichen EC Karte zahlen möchten?Die meisten unserer Gäste besitzt nur eine EC Karte.  Weder Apple Pay oder wie die ganzen Features auch heißen. Und wir bevorzugen (auf Grund der hohen Gebühren) auch eine Zahlung mit EC Karte.Dieses kleine, aber sehr Wichtige Detail hat uns beim Verkauf keiner gesagt. 

Wir haben viele Firmen die z.B. 5 Zimmer als Langzeitaufenthalt buchen und zu 90% eine Reservierungsbestätigung erwarten. Reservierungsbestätigung: Übernachtung plus Posten, erscheint der Posten z.b. 30x auf der Bestätigung pro Tag Frühstück. Das sprengt den Rahmen. Bei der Rechnung können wir das filtern, bei der Reservierungsbestätigung nicht. Wenn wir die Leistungen als Paket buchen, ist die Reservierungsbestätigung übersichtlich. Auf der Rechnung erscheinen dann aber die Mehrwertsteuersätze:7% Übernachtung, (richtig)7% Speisen und Getränke (richtig wäre: Speisen)und nochmal19 % Speisen und Getränke (richtig wäre Getränke ). In den Klassifizierungen lässt sich auch nur Speisen und Getränke auswählen. Gibt es da eine Lösung ?
