Guten Tag zusammen, momentan werden unsere POS Umsätze (Gastronovi) in MEWS komplett detailliert übertrage. Der Gast verzehrt ein Schnitzel und 1 Wein und das wird dann auch so an MEWS auf die Gastrechnung gesetzt. Wir möchten dies nur in Restaurant Speisen und Restaurant Getränke ausweisen. Wo kann ich das umstellen? Laut Gastronovi, muss es in MEWS direkt angepasst werden.Danke für die Hilfe Nadine Samoilow

Hey guys,We’ve now managed to start paid reservations on the day of arrival just by completing the online check-in. I really like the check-in process and its smooth integration with the data. However, with OTA guests it’s such a bottleneck because a verification email is sent, and Booking.com’s email service sometimes takes up to 20 minutes to deliver it.How can this be handled better? Is it possible to switch to SMS verification?Has anyone else experienced these issues and found a good solution?Best regards,Hendrik

Bonjour, Il arrive souvent que nous devons changer le nom d’une réservation sans l’annuler. Par contre, l’ancien nom reste visible dans le nom du groupe et en haut à gauche de la réservation. Cela crée de la confusion. Est-ce qu’on peut faire quelque chose?  

Looking to see if anyone has any first hand experience with using Remotelock and MEWS. Right now, we are using TTlock devices, which do not directly connect, but Remotelock is the bridge between them all.I am mostly curious about first hand experience and also ways in which you send codes to guests and how that works in with MEWS. 

Peppol facturen zijn heel onoverzichtelijk voor onze gasten.  De pdf factuur wordt hieraan niet gekoppeld.Enkel een document in computertaal (UBL) wordt doorgestuurd naar onze klanten, met heel veel vragen tot gevolg uiteraard.Momenteel sturen we de facturen ook nog door via Mews en niet enkel via het Peppol kanaal.

Hey everyone! Question for those working with breakfast rate setups on OTAs. We currently use SiteMinder and MEWS direct connect (varies by property) with Booking.com and Expedia, and we offer breakfast-inclusive rates.The challenge we keep running into is that when we change breakfast pricing, we basically have to reload the rates from scratch. Simply updating the product price in MEWS is not an option, since any modifications to previously reservations would overwrite historical pricing and mess up the original breakdown as soon as our guests start the online checkin process. MEWS at the moment doesn't offer the option to block the product posting on previously made reservations which still need to arrive. I’m curious how others have structured their setup? Is there a smarter or more flexible way to set up breakfast rates so breakfast price changes can be applied quickly, ideally within minutes instead of rebuilding everything?Would really

Hallo Community,wir haben eine (abhängige) Werbeaktionsrate erstellt und möchten diese nun mit korrektem Streichpreis auf der WBE anzeigen lassen. Die Werbeaktionsrate ist Ratengruppe A (Non-Ref) zugeordnet. Die Basisrate dafür ist Ratengruppe B (Flex) zugeordnet und soll als Streichpreis angezeigt werden. Als Streichpreis bedient Mews sich jedoch scheinbar nur aus der selben Ratengruppe. Ich habe bereits versucht eine Dummy-Rate (Kopie der Basisrate) in Ratengruppe A als Fundament für den Streichpreis zu hinterlegen. Diese muss jedoch aktiviert sein, um als Streichpreis angezeigt zu werden. Wenn nun ein Gast ohne Promocode für die Werbeaktionsrate bucht, kann er die Dummy-Rate sehen. Hello everyone, I would like to better understand how the Guest In-House report is intended to be used. It has been brought to our attention that the Guest In-House report does not reflect all reservations that are actually in-house at a given moment. For example, the report does not include reservations that checked in earlier than the standard check-in time; these reservations only appear after the standard check-in time has passed. In addition, the report does not include reservations that are staying multiple nights and checked in yesterday or on a prior date. This functionality is not made very clear by Mews. If I were unaware of these limitations, the Guest In-House report would be the first report I would generate and provide to emergency services in the event of a fire or similar incident - assuming it accurately reflected all guests currently on property. Given these limitations, I’m curious to understand

Dear Mews Events users!  We have started using Mews Events in June this year. And sometimes we struggle with functionality (which we put in the ‘Ideas’ section). But we also struggle a bit with using daily delegate packages, procesflow and the financial part of Mews Events. Actualmente, hemos observado que las ventas se traspasan desglosadas por cada día de consumo. Por ejemplo, si una reserva abarca cinco días, se generan cinco líneas contables con la cuenta de venta correspondiente.Este formato nos está generando dificultades a la hora de conciliar los ingresos con los movimientos bancarios, ya que no coincide fácilmente con los importes totales cobrados.¿Existe alguna manera de simplificar este proceso para que la información contable se agrupe de forma más manejable o resumida? Wir nutzten schon seit März MEWS Events - ich würde gerne wissen, wie eure Erfahrungen sind. Wir haben noch ein paar Probleme mit den Functionssheets und der internen Kommunikationen. Über Tipps würde ich mich sehr freuen. Leider werden noch nicht alles Bestuhlungen und ähnlichen in MEWS Events abgefragt, sodass wir noch einmal den Kunden via Mail kontaktieren müssen - Fehlerquelle vorprogrammiert.

Hallo zusammen,wir haben seit Oktober “Mews” in unseren Hotels im Einsatz. Ein Hauptgrund für die Entscheidung war, dass wir uns ein cloudbasiertes PMS zulegen wollten, das mit der Zeit geht. Insbesondere überzeugte uns die Möglichkeit, den Self-Check-out für unsere Business-Gäste (über 90%) zur Verfügung zu stellen, um Wartezeiten zu vermeiden und besseren Service zu bieten (auch aufgrund der eingeschränkten Personalverfügbarkeit). Entsprechend wurde uns diese Möglichkeit bei der ersten Präsentation verkauft.Nach einigen Monaten und zig Herausforderungen (nicht nur, was den Self-Check-out anbelangt) stehen wir nun vor der vollendeten Tatsache, dass der Kiosk-Check-out für unsere Business-Gäste nicht möglich ist (zumindest nicht auf sinnvolle Art und Weise). Es sei denn, man möchte, dass die Gäste ohne zu zahlen das Hotel verlassen. Denn genau das passiert, wenn man den Gast mit dem Firmenprofil verknüpft. Hallo zusammen,es gibt Gäste, die von der Kurtaxe befreit sind (z.B. Schwerbehinderung). Die Kurtaxe storniere ich in Mews. Gibt es einen Trick, dass beim Übertrag von Mews nach Feratel für diese Gäste keine Berechnung ausgelöst wird? Bisher muss ich im Nachgang bei Feratel, bzw. im Portal, wo ich auch z.B. den Versand der Kurkarten steuern kann, immer die Daten manuell ändern.Viele Grüße von HelgolandKlaus

Bei uns kommt es häufiger vor, dass Online-Zahlungen gesplittet werden müssen.Beispiele:1. Ein Doppelzimmer wird von 2 Personen benutzt, von denen jeder eine Rechnung braucht. Ich habe bereits jede Position einzeln angelegt, damit ich eine Gegenbuchung machen kann und 2x neu buche (wurde so in der Schulung gezeigt). Die 2 Positionen kann ich dann ja splitten. Die Zahlung aber nicht. 2. Eine Buchung für 2 Zimmer, es werden 2 Rechnungen gebraucht, es gibt aber nur eine Zahlung. Wenn bereits online bezahlt wurde habe ich in beiden Fällen nur eine Zahlung. Wie kriege ich es hin, dass jede Rechnung geschlossen werden kann und die Zahlung anteilig auf jeder Rechnung draufsteht?Für Fall wie in 1. beschrieben ist es ja schon recht umständlich, die Positionen gegenzubuchen und als 2 Positionen neu zu buchen. Hier müsste auch dringend nachgebessert werden, dass auch Rechnungspositionen anteilig verschoben werden können. (@mews: guckt mal bei HS/

Hallo, hat jemand Erfahrungen kann kann mir helfen. Wir bieten ein Businesspackage an, das aus den Bestandteilen Speisen, Getränke und Wlan besteht. Wenn Gäste geschäftlich reisen, soll statt dem Frühstück das Businesspackage aufgebucht werden. Wie lege ich das Businesspackage als Produkt an, so dass der Split im Hintergrund Korrekt ist, d.h. das Speisen, Getränke und Wlan richtig gebucht werden? Danke für eure Unterstützung
