Servus, Kameraden. Wir hatten jetzt die letzten Tage Anfragen, das Gäste (gebucht über booking.com) über angebliche whatsapp Nachrichten nach weiteren Daten gefragt wurden. Booking.com und die Mews Datenbank verfügen über die richtige Mobilnummer. Es ist aktuell für uns nicht einsehbar, ob die Daten bei booking.com, über Mews oder “in the middle” abfließen.Gibt es weitere Häuser hier, die aktuell ähnliches erfahren?

Hallo zusammen, Opera bietet zum Beispiel die Option „Queue“ (Warteschlange) an. Wenn ein Gast zum Check-in kommt, kann ich „Queue“ markieren und das Housekeeping weiß sofort, dass genau dieses Zimmer priorisiert bzw. schneller gereinigt werden soll. Gibt es so etwas auch in  Mews

I created a report in Mews and configured a webhook export target (JSON format) to deliver the report data to my web application. This has been working without any issues.However, starting yesterday (June 5, 2026), I have been receiving a notification in Mews every 10 minutes indicating that the export has failed, even though the export itself work flawlessly.My web application receives the POST request and responds with an HTTP 200 OK status.Regarding webhook behavior, I was only able to find the documentation in the Connector API (Webhook FAQs).Should my web application return a different response, or are there any recent changes that could cause the export to be marked as failed despite receiving a 200 OK response?

Hello everyone,does anyone know if a good way to create automation of routing of bills to a different profile? we have that setting for expedia reservations so they are automatically routed to an expedia profile, cahrged and bills closed. This is so the guests will not be asked to pay online if it is a virtual card that we have not charge yet.We want to do the same for e-voucher coming in via travel clearing. But the “problem” here is that these reservations come in from so many different booking channels and companies. So my question is if anyone knows of a good way to do this automatically instead of having to do it manually every day?

Ich habe das Problem, dass im System hunderte Rechnung aus der Vergangenheit offen sind. Die Mitarbeiter sind hier nicht in der Verantwortung und lassen die Rechnung einfach offen. Teilweise sind es Konsumationen aus dem Restaurant, welche die Gäste nicht konsumiert haben, teilweise sind es auch Rechnungen von Reiserveranstaltern die nicht abgeschlossen werden. Vereinzelt aber auch Rechnungen, welche vom Gast bezahlt wurden, aber einfach dann vom Rezeptionsmitarbeiter nicht abgeschlossen wurden.Was kann ich tun? Gibt es Möglichkeit, dass Mitarbeiter nur die Kassa schliessen können, wenn Sie alle Rechnungen abgeschlossen haben? Oder sich am nächsten Tag nicht mehr anmelden können, wenn Sie die Rechnungen nicht ordentlich abschliessen.

Hi i read somewhere that Mews is finally looking at providing an integrated guest messaging service (whatsapp/sms etc). I’ve been hoping for this for a long time as we use an external provider with no connectivity to Mews.The devil is in the detail of course, and the information shared so far seems vague and sketchy.Is there anything more concrete about the specific features, roll out etc? i’m especially keen to understandmobile no. portability - can we bring it with us or take it with us if we leave (imagine we have a long history on our existing number...) what pre booking solution is there (ie widget on our website) that means guest comms pre booking like questions about a villa type etc are captured and not outside the system. what the process/timing is for having templates approved on whatsapp (and which whatsapp provider will be used, e.g. 360diogue or gupshop etc what marketing solutions will be avail

Hallo :)Wir sind gerade am bauen von Apartments und ich habe eine neue Rate für diese angelegt. Allerdings kann ich die Ratenreinfolge für die Zimmer und die Apartments nicht separat ändern - habt ihr das Problem auch und eine Lösung dafür? Finde es nicht so angenehm für die Mitarbeiter immer dann die Apartment rate vorne zu haben obwohl die nur ein Zimmer buchen wollen.Danke für die Hilfe :) Danja Steinberg  

Hi everyone,On our previous PMS, managing optional reservations was simple and efficient. A guest who contacted us by phone and was interested in a reservation would receive a quote with a confirmation deadline (72 hours for example). To confirm, they were required to enter their card details. If they didn't do so within the deadline, the option expired automatically. If they did, the reservation was automatically confirmed. We didn't have to check anything — the card input was what triggered the confirmation.With Mews, a guest can confirm an option in a single click without providing any payment method. We are therefore left having to manually check every confirmed reservation to see if a card has been provided, chase the guest if not, and worse, manually cancel a reservation that is already confirmed if they never pay.Nobody would consider letting a guest book through the Booking Engine without entering a payment method. So why is this the case for a manually

My property is looking to find a way to streamline single remittance rates from an OTA. We aren’t exactly sure how we can accomplish this. Is there anyone with experience creating rate products in MEWS without taxes?

Hallo zusammen,aktuell versuche ich herauszufinden, welchen Platzhalter man verwenden muss, damit bei Angeboten mit mehreren Zimmern die Kosten für das jeweilige Zimmer separat angezeigt werden.Derzeit wird bei mir immer nur der Gesamtpreis des gesamten Angebots ausgegeben. Hat jemand das gleiche Problem gehabt und konnte dafür bereits eine Lösung finden?Vielen Dank für eure Rückmeldungen und eure Unterstützung. 

Hallo liebe Community, gibt es die Möglichkeit zwei Stornierungsbestätigungen anzulegen?Der Hintergrund ist, dass wir für stornierte Optionen/Angebote ebenfalls Stornierungsbestätigungen senden, da wir leider einfach oft den fall hatten, dass Gäste ein Angebot als verbindliche Buchung ansahen und dann vor uns standen. Leider haben wir aktuell nur eine Stornierungsbestätigung, welche wir für “normale” Stornierungen nutzen (vom Gast storniert). Gerne hätten wir  eine Mail für die Stornierung von Angeboten, da sich der Text ja doch etwas unterscheidet. Gibt es hier eine Möglichkeit?

We would like to see the possibility to split payments into payment plans including payment links with percentages of total revenue per reservation based on arrival date. For example a guest makes a reservation for a weekend in September. We would like to see a payment plan such as:50% payment the moment the reservation is made.50% payment two weeks upfront of the arrival date. Currently we use local solutions but we like to see this included in the Mews environment. If there are any live solutions covering these situations we would like to know.

Hello! If I have a corporate rate that I cannot yield, is there any way to exempt that rate from property level restrictions?I know I can do this in Mews directly as an exception on the rate or rate group, but I am trying to leverage the automation from our RMS to do this. Example: Two night min on a room type being sent from our RMS, but NEGABC rate should not be affected. Many PMS systems would have a ‘non yieldable’ option in the rate configuration that would allow for this.

Pour confirmer, il devait obligatoirement saisir sa carte. S'il ne le faisait pas dans le délai imparti, l'option expirait automatiquement. S'il le faisait, la réservation passait automatiquement en confirmée. Nous n'avions pas à vérifier quoi que ce soit, c'est la saisie de carte qui déclenchait la confirmation.Avec Mews, le client peut confirmer son option en un clic sans renseigner aucun moyen de paiement. Nous nous retrouvons donc à devoir vérifier manuellement chaque réservation pour savoir si une carte a été fournie, relancer le client si ce n'est pas le cas, et pire, annuler manuellement une réservation déjà confirmée s'il ne paie jamais.Personne n'imaginerait laisser un client réserver sur le Bookin

Hallo zusammen, beim erstellen von Metrik befehlen sind mir einige Limits aufgefallen welche mich etwas ratlos zurücklassen und vielleicht hat jemand einen Workaround gefunden. Szenario 1:Die fehlende Möglichkeit Upgrades zu tracken.Da es kein “assigned spaces” / “original space” oder eine klassische Vergleichsformel zum Start und Ende einer Reservierung zugelassen ist/gibt.(Ziel war es Upgrades zu Tracken und zu Reporten) Szenario 2:Umsatz pro Kopf (Mitarbeiter) nicht ermittelbar durch fehlende Verbindung zum Datensatz an Usern.(Ziel war es für die Reservierung eine Revenue Aufstellung zu machen) Habt Ihr ähnliche Herausforderungen?Oder habe ich einen Gedankenfehler? :)

When taking a customer reservation directly on the phone, once the availability is checked and the name is taken, one can set the reservation as optional (so it appears as non confimed in dotted lines in the calendar) and send the quotation email from the same screen. Very nice. The problem is that the customer can simply click confirm on the email and automatically receive back another automated email from MEWS saying the reservation is confirmed. In the calendar, it is changed as confirmed and we have no easy way to spot the missing card details information unless we do some systematic checks. Customer is thus free to cancel the day before or not come to the hotel and we have no way to secure the payment. For that we would need to send another email for card payment method demand, which would have to be tracked and followed up manually separately. Not automated… Not linked to the reservation… OK, there might be the option not to use the qu

Ich benötige eine tägliche Liste mit allen heutigen Anreisen, sortiert nach Zimmernummer. Zusätzlich sollen alle aktuell im Haus befindlichen Gäste ebenfalls nach Zimmernummer aufgelistet und eindeutig markiert werden. Folgendes soll soll klar ersichtlich sein:die Namen aller Reisenden, welche Gäste zu einer gemeinsamen Gruppe gehören, die jeweilige Zimmernummer, die Anzahl der Gäste pro Zimmer, bei Kindern zusätzlich das Alter, An- und Abreisedatum, vorhandene Notizen des Profils sowie der Reservierung, Ernährungsanforderungen oder Unverträglichkeiten, sowie die Kennzeichnung von wiederkehrenden Gästen bzw. Stammgästen.Weitere Informationen werden nicht benötigt.Da ich diesen Bericht regelmäßig verwende, möchte ich eine dauerhaft übersichtliche und vollständige Darstellung, ohne den Bericht ständig manuell bearbeiten oder anpassen zu müssen.

Many of our customers prefer to always be allocated to the same room number or floor number during reservations.After defining these characteristics in the space features, I do not see these characteristics in the user profile “Preferred space features”. I only see a fixed classification list. My allocation strategy is set to “Use user preferences”. I can see that one could make the link from a “room feature to a classification” on the space side of the settings, and use the “classification to user” link on the user side of the settings, but it does not meet the need at all:classifications are limited to 20 and none corresponds to the feature I am defining if different features are classified within the same class, then why even bother defining space features ?!?!?Am I missing something or is it so weird? What was the logic when designing this?Many thanks in advance for your help and clarifying if I misunderstand somethin

Dans un petit hôtel comme le nôtre, ne pas les recevoir nous crée plus de difficulté qu’autre chose… surtout que la facturation des frais d’annulation est automatique, et bien entendu non notifiée.Merci de déterrer si besoin ce sujet.Bonne journée Hello, This subject is now quite old, but I hope it hasn't been buried.Mews: have you made any progress on email receipts/notifications for reservation modifications or cancellations? This is a fundamental feature and an essential one. For a small hotel like ours, not receiving them creates more difficulties than anything else... especially since the billing of cancellation fees is automatic and, of course, goes unnotified.Thank you for digging this subject

We would like to know if it is possible to automate alerts when a hotel’s occupancy drops below full capacity.Our goal is to receive a notification (via Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, or e-mail) whenever a hotel changes from 100% occupancy to 99% or lower.This is especially important during holiday periods and long weekends, when we often experience last-minute cancellations. Since only three people manage Revenue Management for our group of 11 hotels, we want to be informed immediately about these changes so we can react quickly and adjust availability or pricing where needed.Has anyone implemented a similar setup or integration? If so, what would be the best way to automate these alerts?I know Zapier can help with this, but we don’t have a paid account and are wondering if Occupancy is a filter you can use when setting up Zaps.
