HelloWould MEWS PMS run on a Mac? We want to get rid of Windows devices and move to Mac OS and iOS. So with MEW connector and Printer integration, is it possible?

Hi there, I'm hosting a special event at my property and want to create a dedicated booking flow for it.The idea is:Guests book through a custom booking engine link tied to a specific rate for the event During that booking, they can reserve a room and purchase event tickets as a product/add-on Tickets should be available with or without a room booking Guests need to be able to customize the quantity of tickets during checkoutThe problem: I can't find a way to make a product visible only within a specific booking engine or rate. I don't want the event ticket showing up as an available product for regular guests — it should only be available to people booking through the event-specific link.Has anyone figured out a way to do this? Or found a workaround? Open to creative solutions.Thanks in advance!

Hallo zusammen, ich habe heute zufällig gesehen, dass alle meine Produkte, die eigentlich nicht buchbar sein dürften, in der booking engine sichtbar und buchbar sind. Die Option "für den Gast buchbar" in den Produktoptionen ist seit nem Update nicht mehr vorhanden.Hat noch jemand dieses Problem? Wie bekomme ich die Produkte aus der booking engine heraus, sodass sie für Gäste nicht mehr buchbar sind? Danke euch schonmal für eure Hilfe!Jenny

 Hallo zusammen, kurze Frage zu den Produktregeln. Wir haben bisher unsere Mutterrate mit Frühstück. Da wir nun auf die Mutterrate ohne Frühstück umstellen wollen (damit der Managerbericht mit dem Buchhaltungsbericht übereinstimmt), würde ich gern eure Erfahrungen wissen. Was habt ihr als Produktregeln für die Mutterrate ohne Frühstück eingestellt? Welche Raten habt ihr dafür?Vielen Dank für jede info und jede screenshoot 

Haben noch andere das Problem ?Wir versuchen zB gerade seit 5 Minuten zu erfahren, welche Kategorie zu welchem Preis an einem Wochenende im Juni buchbar ist. Da dreht Mews nur ein Rad und dann kommt eine Fehlermeldung Das passiert so unglaublich oft. Vor allem wenn viele Gäste zum Check out da stehen ist das sehr peinlich!!

Hallo liebe Mews-Community, wir arbeiten mit dem Channelmanager von HNS und kriegen immer wieder Fehlermeldungen, wenn bei einer Buchung über Kurzurlaub.de Zusatzprodukte gebucht werden, wie z.B. Pralinen, Early-Bird-Check-In, etc.  Hat diesbezüglich jemand eine Lösung, wie ich diese Produkte fehlerfrei übertragen lassen? Aktuell werden diese von uns manuell hinzugefügt. Vielen Dank und einen erfolgreichen Tag allen :-)

Hallo liebe Community,seit der neuen Ledger-Funktion haben wir ein Problem mit den ausstehenden Salden.Bisher haben wir die Gegenkonto-Funktion immer als Abgleich und Kontrolle für offene Rechnungen genutzt. Seit dem letzten Update werden jedoch bei Erstattungen und Gutschriften diese Positionen weiterhin mit unterschiedlichen Salden angezeigt, anstatt – wie zuvor – mit 0 Saldo ausgeblendet zu werden.Ein Beispiel habe ich im Anhang beigefügt.Da wir dieses Tool in der Buchhaltung als Übersicht für offene Rechnungen verwenden, befürchten wir, dass die Liste durch weitere Gutschriften zunehmend „zugemüllt“ wird und der Überblick verloren geht. Vom Support wurde uns bereits ein Workaround über Excel empfohlen, was in der täglichen Praxis allerdings wenig sinnvoll erscheint.Hat jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen

 Hallo liebe Community,wir sind gerade eben durch Zufall über die Mews vs die Konkurrenz Seite auf folgende Zeitachse gestoßen.Weiß jemand, ob es die so, wie in dem Bild zu sehen schon gibt, ob die noch kommt oder ob es sich da einfach um ein irreführendes Bild handelt?es wäre echt Klasse, wenn man in der Zeitachse mit Farbakzenten für Buchungen arbeiten könnte (nicht nur die Standardfarben für Eingecheckt, Geprüft etc.)Vielleicht weiß ja schon jemand mehr.Vielen Danke im Voraus.

Hi community,We use a €0 product called GreenStay to track when guests opt out of room cleaning. When this product is added to a reservation, it triggers certain automations.The challenge: we want the product to be  posted before end of business day (so it's part of the night charge for statistics), but for housekeeping reporting purposes it should reflect the date after midnight — i.e., the actual day the room won't be cleaned.An added complication is that for multi-night stays, the product also appears on the arrival night, where cleaning was never going to happen anyway.Mews Support confirmed there's currently no native way to differentiate between the consumption date for housekeeping vs. finance. Has anyone found a workaround for this — perhaps using automations, a second product, or a clever posting setup?Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,I’m currently configuring booking restrictions in Mews and ran into some confusion around the “booking window” functionality.From what I understand, Mews supports:Same-day bookings Real-time availability Min/max advance booking restrictions (in days)However, I’m looking for something more granular:👉 Is it possible to configure the booking window in hours instead of days?For example:Prevent bookings within 3 hours of arrival Allow bookings only within the next 6 hours Define a minimum advance booking time in hoursSome documentation and descriptions mention “flexible” or “last-minute” booking windows, which initially suggested this might be possible — but in practice, it seems limited to day-based logic only.So I’d love to clarify:Is there any native way to achieve hour-based booking restrictions in Mews? Hallo,gibt es eigentlich mittlerweile eine Lösung um zu sehen wie viele Zustellbetten man noch zur Verfügung hat bzw. das man die Anzahl der verfügbaren Zustellbetten hinterlegen kann? Wir setzen uns im Moment immer eine Aufgabe. Aber das wird leider zu schnell unübersichtlich. 

Monat 3 seit der MwSt für Speisen in Deutschland. Es war ein toller Release, Upsells auf Basis des von Gast gebuchter Rate verwalten zu können. Für einige kurze Wochen konnten wir unser Frühstück vor dem Check-in im Gästeportal bewerben, was sich deutlich auf unsere im Voraus gebuchten Frühstücke auswirkte (Positiv für die Planung). Dann kam die neue MwSt für Speisen. Wir haben das Upsell in unserer Buchungsmaschine für Raten ohne Frühstück entfernt, da die Gäste nicht verstanden haben, dass sie sowohl Speisen als auch Getränke Produkte hinzufügen müssen. Unsere Frühstücksvorbuchungen sind deutlich zurückgegangen.Beim Berliner Roundtable im Januar gab es einen Hinweis auf eine mögliche „Produktbündel“-Funktion. Ist das noch im Gespräch oder hat jemand inzwischen einen anderen Workaround? 

Hallo zusammen, besteht die Möglichkeit beim Auswählen eines Allergiker-Zimmers ein Hinweisfeld aufploppen zulassen, dass grade ein Allergiker-Zimmer genutzt wird? Wir haben viele Zimmer in denen Hunde erlaubt sind, aber wenige Allergiker-Zimmer. Leider häufen sich dort in letzter Zeit Buchungen mit Hund, da bspw. kurzfrisitg gebucht, der Mitarbeiter achtet nicht darauf etc. In Suite8 Fidelio gab es damals diese Möglichkeit. Vielleicht habt ihr sonst andere Ideen, was wir einstellen oder nutzen können? Hello everybody,I have a question with regards to LOS restrictions. In the summer time we have a minimum LOS restriction of 4 nights. Now the board is filling up nicely with reservations and there are several gaps forming of 3 nights or less across the whole summer / catagories. Right now we have it set up as a LOS restriction per rate / room type for the summer period.  Is the only way to open up these gaps, to adjust each restriction to end right before a gap and create a new one that starts afterwards? That seems super work intensive and tedious. (considering across 60 rooms there are quite a few gaps, at seperate days)  Any tips / tricks? The chatbot is driving me insane. 

We operate a contactless hotel and are running into a recurring issue with last-minute bookings being assigned to dirty rooms in Mews.We do not have every room cleaned daily, but we consistently have multiple clean and inspected rooms available to accommodate these bookings. The problem is that Mews does not provide an option to prioritize clean rooms during the assignment process. The only available options are top-down, bottom-up, or randomized, which results in guests occasionally being assigned to rooms that are not ready.Given that room status (clean/inspected/dirty) is already tracked in the system, it seems like a basic requirement that last-minute bookings be assigned to a clean or inspected room by default.This is creating operational issues for us and negatively impacting guest experience and reviews. Because we operate without a traditional front desk, we do not always have the ability to manually reassign rooms, especially for after-hours bookings.

Hi Everyone!We have recently set up the MEWS KIOSK in our Tablet and I wanted to ask, if there is a way to disable the automatic check in after filling up the details and signing the digital card? We just want to use the app just as a digital registration card. I tried to find some answers in the community and with MEWS AI as well but couldn’t figure out exactly. Any kind of support will be much appreciated!Peace,Niko
