Product Bundle (Breakfast items with different VAT)

Monat 3 seit der MwSt für Speisen in Deutschland.
 

Es war ein toller Release, Upsells auf Basis des von Gast gebuchter Rate verwalten zu können. Für einige kurze Wochen konnten wir unser Frühstück vor dem Check-in im Gästeportal bewerben, was sich deutlich auf unsere im Voraus gebuchten Frühstücke auswirkte (Positiv für die Planung). 

Dann kam die neue MwSt für Speisen. Wir haben das Upsell in unserer Buchungsmaschine für Raten ohne Frühstück entfernt, da die Gäste nicht verstanden haben, dass sie sowohl Speisen als auch Getränke Produkte hinzufügen müssen. Unsere Frühstücksvorbuchungen sind deutlich zurückgegangen.


Beim Berliner Roundtable im Januar gab es einen Hinweis auf eine mögliche „Produktbündel“-Funktion. Ist das noch im Gespräch oder hat jemand inzwischen einen anderen Workaround?

      You’re absolutely right – the “Packaging products made easier for Germany” update is the product bundle functionality we mentioned at the Berlin Roundtable. It was scheduled for release on 31 March, so it should now be available for German properties and will let you sell a single breakfast to guests while Mews handles the split food/drink products in the background.

      If you don’t yet see the new package options in your Product rules, please let us know and we can double-check that it’s enabled for your property and help you review the setup for your breakfast upsell.

      Hello,

      It would be great to add it in France too because for exemple for the brunch with cocktail or wine or champagne to do it in Mews it’s a nightmare !

      thank you for the comment. For this feature was only released in Germany as a solution for the new complex tax set up for bundled products. But we are aware that it will be a helpful feature for all our users so I’m sure it won’t take long for it to be released for other regions as well!
