Keine Frage, aber eine kleine Feststellung heute, auf die wir eher durch Zufall gekommen sind - letztendlich hat mir Kicky vom Support dann geholfen.  Ein Kollege hat gestern bei einem Produkt “buchbar für Gäste" aktiviert, bei dem es nicht aktiviert werden sollte, und so war es dann über die Homepage buchbar. Ich habe die Option heute deaktiviert, jedoch verschwand das Produkt nicht von der Homepage, erst als mir Kicky dann sagte, dass gestern die Funktion “Werbeaktionen” geändert wurde und es nun Zusatzverkäufe sind - da musste ich die Produkte dann manuell entfernen. Ich wollte das nur gerne ans Mews-Team weiter geben, dass das etwas verwirrend war - und vielleicht liest es ja jemand, der sich dann die Ursachensucherei sparen kann ;)

Hello,  I’m new to the community and would be most grateful for some help with building new levels into my inventory please!When I built Mews for my 14 bed property, I was only selling individual rooms. I have since developed my strategy and would love to have the option to sell in the following groupings: More than 8 months lead time:Only book the whole house (14 rooms) Within 8 months lead time: The whole house orCan now book The Gallery (8 rooms)Can now book The Nook (5 rooms)Can now book The Loft Within 6 months lead timeCan do all the above but also book an individual room I have tried to set up a parent room structure so 5 rooms now exist within The Nook, but for this plan to work I need help with the option to be able to also book The whole house.Most importantly I need to be able to export the availability of the whole house as an ical to share with o

Hello zusammen,hat schon jemand eine Lösung für folgende Frage gefunden?:Wir verkaufen unsere Twinzimmer für 1 und 2 Personen, dafür haben wir auch einen Teil der Zimmer dieser Kategorie nur für 1 Person aufgebettet. Nun hätten wir gerne, dass die Reservierungen mit 1 Person auch zuerst diesen Zimmern zugeteilt werden. Das geben aber die Varianten der Mews Reservation Assigments nicht her (Top Down, Bottom Up, Random, Preffered space features).Wir werden jetzt vermutlich etagenweise die Zimmerbestückung machen und dann Top Down/Bottom Up nutzen aber hat noch jemand eine andere Idee?Vielen Dank 

Dear Mews Community, We are completely new to the community so, first I say Hello to everyone😁I asked myself if it was possible to somehow add colors / symbols / anything else to the reservation, so I can tell them all apart at one glance in the timeline. For example : all half-board packages one color / symbol, all accommodation only, and so on. So I can see immediately how many half board menu’s we have for today without having to click on each reservation?  Thank you in advance ! Best regards,Mia

I've come across questionable or misleading translations in Mews a few times, but recently a guest pointed out the following:This is, of course - especially directed at the guests - extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy, so my question is: how exactly does the translation process work?It's clear that this is a machine translation, but I'm wondering why it's so incredibly bad… it reminds me of the spam emails of the past. Furthermore, is there no native speaker checking the translated texts in Mews?

Hallo zusammen,zum 01.01.2026 erfolgt die Umstellung der Mehrwertsteuer. In unserer Klassifizierung ist jedoch weiterhin überall „Speisen und Getränke“ hinterlegt. Eine Änderung ist aktuell nicht möglich, da diese Angabe scheinbar von MEWS festgelegt ist.Wird diese Klassifizierung noch angepasst? In der aktuellen Form wäre sie ab diesem Zeitpunkt ja nicht mehr korrekt, das hier eine Trennung erfolgt ? Vielen Dank vorab und viele GrüßeMathias   

Hallo zusammen, gibt es eine Möglichkeit, bei allen bestehenden zukünftigen Reservierungen den Produktpreis anzupassen und dabei den Logispreis zu reduzieren und das automatisiert, ohne manuelle Nachbearbeitung? Beispiel:Aktuell: Logis 100,00 € + Frühstück 10,00 € = 110,00 € GesamtNeu gewünscht: Logis 98,00 € + Frühstück 12,00 € = 110,00 € GesamtDer Frühstückspreis ist nochmal zwischen Getränke & Speisen unterteilt Vielen Dank & Grüße Mathias

Guten Morgen liebe Community.Wir haben heute in der Buchhaltungskonfiguration gesehen, dass dies wohl eine neue Option ist, die Adresse des Unternehmens zu platzieren.Leider “klebt dies sehr weit unten am Rand”, ist dies bei allen so?Weiters wäre die Frage, kann ich das Logo oben auf der Rechnung zentrieren?vielen Dank für eure Hilfe! 

Am i the only one here that finds it hard to understand that the “order summary screen” on Kiosk is showing all items part of the reservation at check in, where we obviously have some of the items (like corrections, commission adjustments and others) listed with the ‘bill as package’ option. We dont want the guest to see these items, but acc to support this is a ‘by design’ functionality? 

Could somebody please confirm if Mews is working on a solution to enable invoice sending via PEPPOL by the end of this year? Because on the search i could ot find anything about this. Best regards Robin 

Hallo zusammen,nutzt jemand die Funktion des POS, RFID Karten (Zimmerschlüssel) zu lesen und somit die Rechnungen auf die Zimmer zu buchen? WIr hatten dies mit Protel in Kombination mit Matrix POS.Dies half uns operative in den Outlets die Rechnungen der Gäste entsprechend abzuschliessen.Aktuell haben wir Probleme dies mit MEWS aufzusetzen. Folgende Systeme sind invovliert. Hi Mews Community,At our hotel, key cards expire at the fixed checkout time (11:00 AM). However, we often find that guests need to retrieve luggage or personal items from their rooms shortly after checkout. This can lead to frustration when they can't access their room and need to return to the front desk for assistance.Question: How do other hotels handle this situation? Do you:Extend the validity of key cards for a short period after checkout? Have a process for manually reactivating cards upon guest request? Hello AllNeed your help in figuring out what filters to set to see what pricing changes were done by staff. I am trying to figure out if the staff changed the nightly rate from the system suggested price to something else. Also trying to figure out if the staff changed the product prices to something else. Trying to keep tabs on unauthorized discounts given by staff. This is messing up revenue budgeting and forecasts. It is not feasible to go through each reservation and see what rates they have been charged. So I am hoping that there is a filter - ANY FILTER in MEWS - that can track what pricing changes were done by staff and for which reservation. I tried various filter settings in Action Log, but no luck so far. I have a situation where I know staff changed the product and nightly rate pricing, but I cannot find that reservation using the Action Log report. Please help me figure this out. 

Hallo zusammen,Nun gibt es das neue Abrechnungsfenster. Mein Team und ich tun uns allerdings damit sehr schwer. Wir würden gerne bereits in der Abrechnung wie vorher auch (vor der Anreise) die Firma/Verknüpfung hinterlegen, finden jedoch bei manchen Rechnungen die entsprechenden Einstellungspunkte nicht.Handelt es sich hierbei um einen Bug oder ist diese Funktion nur bei bereits eingecheckten Gästen verfügbar? Hi all 👋,we onboarded our last property a week ago 🏨✨.Now we would like to use the MPE booking engine for our website 💻🛎️.It was set up by our external provider, but currently we only have the option to book adults — no additional age categories 👶🧒👦.Does anyone know how to adjust the setup to enable more age categories? 🤔🔧Thanks in advance! 🙏 

Hi all, I can’t see any planned updates for this in the Mews app. I was wondering if anyone has ever suggested or voted for the option to check out guests directly through the app.Our housekeeping team needs to inspect rooms when guests don’t leave on time, and it would be ideal if they could check the guest out on the spot after confirming the room is empty.Has anyone looked into this or has any thoughts on it?

Hello!We have recently started using the Integration to program keycards directly from MEWS. We are using version 1.1.36.0 of the Dialock KeyWriter.Unfortunately, seemingly at random, some of the programmed keys are not working i.e. the command is sent to the encoder and one card works while another card does not even though both keys were programmed together by the same command coming from MEWS.We are already in contact with Häfele support and have opened tickets with MEWS previously.We are in the process of trying to figure out the pattern and analyzing the error codes the locks/keys are producing.I know this is a shot in the dark and probably a pretty niche issue but it can’t hurt to ask and try using all possible avenues for finding a solution.Does anyone have experience in the setup of the integration or has anyone here run into this issue and was able to resolve it? If so we would be immensly grateful for any support or sug

Good afternoon, We have a popular product (museum ticket) that can be pre-booked by the customer.However, for purchases as of April 2026, the price of the product increases drastically.Is it possible to have the product bookable at old price for stays until 31 March;and to have the product bookable at new price for stays from 1 April?If not, I’m afraid I’ll temporarily have to discontinue offering this product to the customer.

This is the related issue:  To simplify - we have implemented this solution (in a bit more advanced way): <script> Mews.Distributor( { configurationIds: ['YOUR-CONFIG-ID'] }, function (api) { api.enableTracking(); api.open(); } );</script>and we have made sure that it works.However, when our guests is redirected to the domain app.mews.com for validating there credit card, the consent for tracking isn’t passed on. Unfortunately, when people have validated there credit card, they are not redirected back to our domain (www.nexthousecopenhagen.com) for the confirmation-page - they stay on app.mews.com where the tracking isn’t working.Does

We would like to create an availability block that generally excludes certain days of the week.Specifically, we would like to block certain rooms for a company from Monday to Friday for the entire year, but automatically exclude weekends.Is there a way to set up such a recurring availability block in Mews without having to create individual availability blocks on a weekly basis?
