Hi zusammen, ich bin Chris aus dem Customer Success Team. 😁Ich habe mich in letzter Zeit mit dem Checkout SDK by Mews Payments beschäftigt und finde das Thema ehrlich gesagt ziemlich spannend. Deshalb dachte ich, ich teile hier ein paar Einblicke!Ein SDK ist, ganz einfach erklärt, ein fertiger Werkzeugkasten für Entwickler. Statt das komplette Zahlungserlebnis selbst zu entwickeln und dauerhaft zu pflegen, kann ein Tech-Team den Checkout direkt in die eigene Booking Engine, App oder Guest Journey integrieren.Hier ein einfaches Beispiel:Ein Hotel hat eine eigene Booking Engine. Heute wird der Gast zum Bezahlen vielleicht auf eine separate Payment-Seite weitergeleitet und kann dort nur mit Karte zahlen. Mit dem Checkout SDK bleibt der Bezahlvorgang direkt im bestehenden Flow, inklusive weiterer Optionen wie Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA und iDEAL. Generally available! We’ve upgraded our overbooking functionality to match industry standards, giving you the perfect balance between aggressive revenue capture and risk mitigation!You can now set a single daily limit for total overbookings across the house or service level. Once that number is reached (including physical inventory and availability adjustments), the system automatically closes the hotel for that day.The Bottom Line: You can now safely push individual room-type overbookings to the limit to drive revenue, knowing this new "safety layer" will automatically cap your total property risk and prevent costly guest relocations.

Hi Community,which door lock systems would you recommend for an independent / non-branded hotel using Mews?Our main requirement is a fully integrated Digital Key, ideally without requiring the guest to visit reception.At the moment, I understand that Mews Digital Key officially supports ASSA ABLOY Vingcard/Vostio and SALTO Space. (Mews)We would be especially interested in hearing about: ASSA ABLOY Vostio / Vingcard SALTO Space Other solutions integrated via partners such as FLEXIPASS Experiences with Apple/Google Wallet keys vs. Bluetooth/app-based keys Reliability, costs and support Integration with Mews Kiosk / Online Check-in From what I can see, ASSA ABLOY Vostio currently has the advantage of native wallet-based keys with Mews, while SALTO Space is currently supported for Mews' Bluetooth Digital Key. So decided to share some insights here!An SDK is, in simple terms, a ready-made toolkit for developers. Instead of building and maintaining the entire payment experience from scratch, a tech team can add the checkout directly to its own booking engine, app or guest journey.Here’s a simple example:A hotel has its own booking engine. Hi everyone,  I was wondering if MEWS have already thought about the possibility of two different check-in options.At the moment, as far as I am aware, if we have enabled automatic check-in, all units will be checked in on a specific time (in our case 3PM), but for those, who have not finalized check-in online, it is causing inconvenience cause they are not able to do the check-in onsite upon arrival as MEWS have already checked-in all units. So I was wondering, is there a possible way that for those, who have done the online check-in, the room will be checked in automatically in Mews and for those, who have not done online verson, will need to check-in in the kiosk once they arrive?   A lot of check-ins but I was trying to express my need as good as possible.

FR Bonjour à tous, Nous sommes le Best Western Plus Hôtel du Parc Chantilly (France) et nous voulions ouvrir la discussion sur un point qui nous pose problème, et qui concerne peut-être d'autres établissements avec petit-déjeuner inclus. Chez nous, le petit-déjeuner est inclus dans le tarif et ajouté automatiquement via une règle de produit (product rule). Le souci : sa date de consommation ("consumption date") est systématiquement calée sur la date d'arrivée (check-in), même quand le client arrive en fin d'après-midi ou en soirée et ne prendra en réalité son petit-déjeuner que le lendemain matin. Conséquences pour nous :- Des dates de "business day" faussées dans nos rapports BI (arrivées/consommations qui ne correspondent pas à la réalité du terrain).- Une facturation jour par jour compliquée avec notre prestataire externe de petits-déjeuners, puisque les volumes ne sont pas rattachés au bon jour. Nous avons repéré deux sujets qui semblent liés : le fil sur la bêta de validation de l
