Salto has recently released the option for wallet-based keys. Mews did so for Assa-Abloy almost a year ago, but for Salto locks we’re still waiting.Guests are losing/ not returning way too many of our key cards and this would be a great option to cut down on that, while at the same time it would improve our guest experience.So, is the integration coming soon?

Where to find Mews support when you most need it? When Mews is down, I connected to https://status.mews.com/ but everything was “operationnal”. There is no way there to subit an issue unless connecting into Mews and use the chat… But of course, if the issue is connecting into Mews… then you are stuck.Any Idea?

Hi,Is there any news if this feature will be launched? For smooth check-in procedure, would be great to be able to take in credit card details with MEWS terminals instead of manual work. As we have a lot of travel agency clients, we are unable to collect the card details with e-mail link for collecting the payment details.There was a mention of this improvement 9months ago when zero authorization link was launched, but still no news?

Groups are complex. Managing them in Mews shouldn’t be. If you manage groups in Mews, you already know the reality. No two groups behave exactly the same. One organiser wants singles and doubles in the same room category. Another sends names before the block is ready. Guest counts change. The final rooming mix looks nothing like the original forecast. A ballroom shares physical inventory with smaller spaces. Revenue wants to know what can still be sold. Hallo Community, Ich möchte Google Hotel an MEWS anbinden. Aktuell läuft es bei mir über Siteminder. Jedoch wird über mein Google Maps Profil die “Offizielle Homepage” welche für Direktbuchungen natürlich die MEWS Booking-Engine sein sollte leider der Siteminder-Booking-Button mit einer schrecklichen Seite dargestellt. So erhalte ich gefühlt sehr viel weniger Direktbuchungen, als wenn die MEWS- Booking-Engine erscheinen würde. Leider ist in Siteminder dieser Link ausgegraut und nicht änderbar (Support hab ich gerade geschrieben).  Hier im Forum erscheint  bei meiner Suche zu Google Hotel immer nur, dass die Partnerschaft von MEWS mit Google Hotels  2024 abgeschafft wurde. Keine weitere Artikel.  Bin ich hier der Einzige mit dem Problem oder nutzt irh alle Cendyn, Triptease, D-Edge etc? Wenn ich schon bei Siteminder bin, würde ich hier die Verbindung haben wollen. Jedoch nicht zu deren blöden Booking-Buttton. Frech schon, dass hier behauptet wird es sei die offizielle Homepage.  Freue m

I am excited to announce the launch of Beta for our new split payments feature!Payment Splitting lets staff divide a charged payment into portions and route each portion to a different bill, without changing how the original payment appears in reporting. Team member no longer has access to Mews university how do I add him back in?

Hallo Community, ich habe gerade den Kiosk in Betrieb genommen. Bei einem ersten Test ist mir aufgefallen, dass dem Gast dort alle “enthaltenen” Produkte angezeigt werden. Das ist insofern problematisch, da wir mit “Minus-Produkten” arbeiten. Die soll nun wirklich kein Gast sehen, denn das führt zwangsläufig zu Fragen. Diese Zeit möchte ich gern unseren Gästen und der Rezeption sparen. Habt jemand von euch eine gute Lösung?Hinweis: Auf Rechnungen werden die Produkte nicht angezeigt, weil wir unter Produktoptionen “als Paket abrechnen” ausgewählt haben. Offensichtlich hat das leider keine Auswirkung beim Kiosk.  

Bonjour tout le monde, j’aimerais savoir s’il y a eu des changements dans l’automatisation de facture car depuis cette semaine quand je crée un groupe de ex 20 personnes pour la facture ils sont tous regroupés sur la même facture, maintenant ils sont tous séparées et je dois tous les déplacés pour faire une seule facture. Est-ce qu’il y a quelque chose que vous me suggérer de regarder. J’ai vérifier dans l’automatisation et l’onglet créer une facture distincte pour chaque groupe de réservation est bien coché.

FR Bonjour à tous, Nous sommes le Best Western Plus Hôtel du Parc Chantilly (France) et nous voulions ouvrir la discussion sur un point qui nous pose problème, et qui concerne peut-être d'autres établissements avec petit-déjeuner inclus. Chez nous, le petit-déjeuner est inclus dans le tarif et ajouté automatiquement via une règle de produit (product rule). Le souci : sa date de consommation ("consumption date") est systématiquement calée sur la date d'arrivée (check-in), même quand le client arrive en fin d'après-midi ou en soirée et ne prendra en réalité son petit-déjeuner que le lendemain matin. Conséquences pour nous :- Des dates de "business day" faussées dans nos rapports BI (arrivées/consommations qui ne correspondent pas à la réalité du terrain).- Une facturation jour par jour compliquée avec notre prestataire externe de petits-déjeuners, puisque les volumes ne sont pas rattachés au bon jour. Nous avons repéré deux sujets qui semblent liés : le fil sur la bêta de validation de l

Liebe Community, wir wollen in Vorbereitung auf die Nutzung der Wallet-Keys die automatische Check-in Funktion aktivieren. Bei uns ist es jedoch so, dass der Aufenthalt bei Check-In vollständig beglichen sein muss - leider macht booking.com da gerade Schwierigkeiten durch die Umstellung der VCC Belastung, aber das ist ein anderes Thema… Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, diese Einstellung vorzunehmen? Bei unserem externen Kiosk-Check-In ist diese Funktion problemlos einstellbar.  Vielen Dank im Voraus!

 Can anyone please assist with explaining how some of my room types have Non-refundable cancellation tags, and some have Partially refundable tags.The same rates are applied to all the room types, so I would expect them to display the same way, all Non-refundable.Anyone know what might be causing the policy difference between room types?

Hi everyone! 👋I think I may have asked this before, but hopefully the statute of limitations has expired by now 😅 So, here we go again:Breakfast is included in all our rates. For accounting purposes, we need to automatically debit and credit the folio with our actual breakfast cost.This works perfectly from an accounting perspective, but the problem is that guests can see these transactions on their receipt and in the kiosk.We currently solve this in a not entirely optimal way using Billing Automation, but in a perfect world we would simply like these transactions to remain hidden from the guest – both on the folio/receipt and in the kiosk.Has anyone found a better or alternative solution for handling this in Mews?
