Hallo,Vanaf 1/3/26 is er een BTW-verhoging op de logies van 6% naar 12% met een overgangsperiode.Indien je een verblijf boekt voor 28/2/26 en het verblijf zelf is ten laatste op 30/6/26 dan zou het BTW-percentage van 6% mogen gehanteerd worden.Indien er een verblijf wordt geboekt voor 28/2/26 en het verblijf zelf is vanaf 1/7/26 dan zou het BTW-percentage 12% zijn.  Maar blijkbaar wordt er ook een verschil gemaakt tussen de 2 BTW-percentages wanneer er ook nog een voorschot werd betaald.Ik zag dat er door Mews uit stappen werden ondernomen n.a.v. de BTW-verhoging in Nederland vanaf 1/1/2026.  Zal er ook zoiets gebeuren voor de verhoging in BE?Hoe kunnen we dit best concreet aanpakken zonder te veel extra manueel werk wat risico’s op fouten alleen maar vergroot.Hieronder nog enkele praktische voorbeelden uit het artikel van Horeca Vlaanderen.Alvast bedankt voor de info.Groetjes,Chantal 16. Hi Community!We are struggling a bit with the new email templates, specifically the price per room. Mews loops through the reservations in the confirmation email, and displays the info for each reservation. But does not show the price. The price is only shown in a summary at the bottom.For us, this summary shows up as:  This makes it impossible for the guest to figure out to which room the price belongs.  However, in the example text, in the mail editor, the merge tag show the name of the room above each charge. Is that just misleading, or does that actually work for other properties? Are we doing something wrong..?Or does anyone perhaps have another solution to show the costs per room type booked? We’ve tried adding the pricing item total to the reservation loop, but it doesn’t accept that.We also tried to start a reservation and pricing item loop at the same time, but also no luck :)

Hallo zusammen,wir verwenden derzeit die mews Booking Engine aber  so richtig zufrieden bin ich damit nicht. Es fehlen einfach viele Features, die es vor Jahren schon in anderen IBEs gab.ich bin daher grade am recherchieren und habe 2 in der engeren Auswahl: Dirs21 und HotelNetSolutions.Hat jemand Erfahrungen mit diesen beiden IBEs bereits sammeln können, insbesondere was die Conversation Rate, Performance und das Zusammenspiel mit mews angeht? Hallo, kennt sich hier irgendjemand mit der Benutzung von Schleifen aus. Hallo,Vielleicht habe ich da eine Blockade aber ich kann leider nicht erkennen, wie ich als Administrator eine bestehende Restriktionen überschreiben kann.Das Problem ist, dass ich jedes Mal die Restriktionen modifizieren oder gar löschen muss, um diese bestehende Restriktionen in Teilen zu überschreiben. Bei unserem Vorherigen PMS war es als Administrator jederzeit möglich, ein Restriktion einfach nur zu überschreiben.Danke für eure Infos und Feedback im Voraus.

Hi Mews Community,we use Mews + Guest Portal and would like to make City Tax mandatory to pay during online check-in — for both OTA and direct bookings.A few questions: Is it possible to offer additional payment methods in the Guest Portal (beyond credit card)? What’s the cleanest way to set this up: City Tax/Stay Product + Payment Policy, or (tax) deposit / automatic tax deposit? Ideally, guests should pay only the city tax during online check-in, while the remaining balance can be paid later. How do you handle the calculation in this setup (e.g., per person/per night, exemptions like children, partial stays/changes, and adjustments if the guest count or dates change after check-in)? Any best-practice setup tips are appreciated.

J’ai un problème de mise à jour de mes inventaires chez Expedia et Booking.com qui dure depuis 24 heures. Depuis le 16 février 2026 vers 11h00, lorsque j’effectue une réservation, Mews n’envoie pas toujours une mise à jour d’inventaire aux OTA. Ça devient problématique lorsque je loue ma dernière chambre avec Mews, pour ensuite recevoir une première surréservation de Booking.com, puis une deuxième surréservation d’Expedia pour la même chambre! J’ai placé une restriction pour fermer une date, et Mews n’a pas envoyé la mise à jour non plus. Après plusieurs tests, Mews semble mettre l’inventaire à jour environ 50% du temps depuis hier, ce qui fait que mes inventaires sont continuellement désynchronisés avec le risque de surréservation qui vient avec.La solution du support technique: Pousser manuellement les inventaires. Hallo,ich hätte gerne eure Best Practices. Wir haben öfters die Situation, dass unser HSK an einem Tag nicht alle Zimmer putzt und dann erst am nächsten Tag die Reinigung vornimmt. Normalerweise würden wir die Zimmer Out of Service setzen, damit unsere ADR und Revpar und Belegung nicht beeinflusst werden. Aber Out of Service ist in der Zeitleiste nur durch einen Punkt hinter der Zimmernummer zu sehen, aber nicht als “Reservierung” angezeigt. Daher setzen wir die Zimmer auf interne Verwendung, was aber unsere Zahlen verfälscht. Wie löst ihr das?

Hallo!Wir müssen ja monatlich die Beherbergungsstatistik ans Statistische Landesamt melden.Wie macht ihr das?Ich finde kein smartes Tool, wo ich alle Infos auf einen Blick bekomme, obwohl die Meldepflicht ja sicherlich alle betrifft. Is there a way to let MEWS know that we are in Canada and that an address should be :Door number/civic address, street name, province/state, country, postal code?At the moment, it automatically reverts to :street name, door number/civic address, province/state, country, postal codewhich makes any exported list useless to convert to automatic mailing or for import to another software. We are manually correcting any issues we come across, but as soon as we use the Search function, it reverts to the incorrect adress when completing the boxes

Dear Mews team, The federal government announced a VAT increase in hotel overnights from 6% to 12%. When it goes into effect I don’t know exactly. When it does; will Mews adjust, or is this something the hotel is responsible for?--I assume Mews will adjust, and it is for the hotels to anticipate in their pricing strategie.
