As for the guest journey, we have included the SMS add-on. It works well; however, we’ve noticed that for guests who don’t have an email address but only a phone number, no additional SMS is sent. We’re wondering if there’s a setting that allows the system to send the SMS in such cases — so that guests without an email address but with a phone number still receive the message. This would help encourage them to use the online check-in even when we don’t have their email.

I want to start accepting cryptocurrency payments (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC) at my motel and RV park. I’d like guidance on how to implement this within Mews PMS. Specifically, I’m looking for: Which crypto payment platforms (e.g., BitPay, Coinbase Commerce, CoinsPaid) are compatible with Mews. How to integrate these platforms with Mews for online bookings, front‑desk payments, and invoicing. The technical setup needed, including APIs, payment links, or POS options. Recommendations for managing settlements, accounting, and compliance in the U.S. My goal is to provide guests with a seamless crypto payment option while ensuring smooth operations and proper reporting in Mews.

Bonjour, tout les jours nous devons mettre toutes nos chambres inspectés malgré le fait qu’il sont utilisé, par contre nous devons faire cette opération chambre par chambre dans le statut des espaces mais cela devient est un peu long est-ce qu’il y a une place ou nous pouvons en un seul clic mettre toutes les chambres inspectés.  Autres questions quand je crée un groupe dans le bloc de disponibilité est-ce que nous sommes obligés de choisir un type d’espace car pour nous ça nous cause certain problème, nous aimerions plus les choisir nous même et ou les déplacés sur le calendrier….selon notre type d’hébergement nous jouons beaucoup à tetris et jusqu’à présent tout fonctionnais comme sur des roulottes (Hotello) mais avec Mews une toute autres histoires.Merci de votre aide 

We want our guest to be able to use the guest portal to chat/message feature and modify their reservation dates if needed, but not check in or out online is there a way to disable online check in and out?

Aktuell reagiert ein Kunde aber weder auf die Erinnerung noch auf unsere E-Mail, und ich finde in Mews selbst keine Funktion, um eine Mahnung zu erstellen und zu versenden oder übersehe ich hier etwas?Viele GrüßeCarolin

Hello — we’d like to test payment automation for card pre-authorization. How does this work for hotels that are already using it? My main concern is that pre-authorizations might be attempted on virtual cards or travel-agency cards. Has anyone had success with this? Thanks! 🌼

As many of us know, certain payment solutions allow credit card surcharges on specific card types, for example, corporate cards.At present, Mews in combination with Stripe does not support this functionality, reportedly due to “legal reasons,” though no detailed explanation has been provided. In the **Match and Merge** function for guest profiles, we often get suggestions to merge profiles based on phone numbers — but in many cases, the phone number in the guest profile actually belongs to the **travel agency**, not the guest.This means the profiles often do **not** belong to the same guest, so we usually choose **“Keep separate.”**Would it be possible to adjust the matching algorithm so that it **ignores certain phone numbers** (specifically those belonging to travel agencies) when matching guest profiles?I’m also curious if other countries are experiencing the same issue — that **bookings from TA's via Amadeus** always lack the guest’s email and use the **travel agency’s phone number** instead of the guest’s.I’d like to check if this problem is local or more widespread. Hi zusammen,wie wickelt ihr Gruppen in MEWS ab wenn es um Korrespondenzen und den ganzen Schriftverkehr?Wir nutzen MEWS in Kombination mit Event Temple aber beides ist nicht optimal?Habt ihr einen Workaround?Vielen Dank! 

We have multiple integrations with tour operators, including Booking.com. With some of these partners, we settle commissions. Mews currently offers a global commission calculation, but this setup is insufficient for our Finance department.For example, if the commission is 15% and the hotel price (including breakfast but excluding city tax) is €100 on Booking.com, is there a way to record €15 as commission and €85 as accommodation & breakfast?If so, could you please advise how we can configure this in Mews?It’s important that the guest does not see the split between the commission and the accommodation.Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello!We have recently started using the Integration to program keycards directly from MEWS. We are using version 1.1.36.0 of the Dialock KeyWriter.Unfortunately, seemingly at random, some of the programmed keys are not working i.e. the command is sent to the encoder and one card works while another card does not even though both keys were programmed together by the same command coming from MEWS.We are already in contact with Häfele support and have opened tickets with MEWS previously.We are in the process of trying to figure out the pattern and analyzing the error codes the locks/keys are producing.I know this is a shot in the dark and probably a pretty niche issue but it can’t hurt to ask and try using all possible avenues for finding a solution.Does anyone have experience in the setup of the integration or has anyone here run into this issue and was able to resolve it? If so we would be immensly grateful for any support or suggestions.Thank you very much

Bonjour, j’ai créé un groupe de 20 personnes, il y a 10 personnes dans le groupe qui veulent leur facture individuellement, pour preuve de présence. comment faire pour leur envoyer leur facture individuellement sans voir la facture du groupe.  Merci!
