Hey Community-friends 👋We thought it might be fun to know who’s who, while we’re actively engaging on our community. I’ll start!The name’s Sarah. You may already know me but if not, I’m looking forward to getting to know you in this community. 😊 I’m the Senior Community Manager here at Mews. You’ll be seeing my face quite a bit around here as I’m responsible for moderating the communications in this community. That means I make sure information flows fast between customers and the product team and that no question goes unanswered.I’ve worked in the SAAS industry for 6 years building and managing successful customer communities 👬 before I landed here at Mews in January 2022 - so, I’ve already got the community T-shirt, so to speak 👕I’m based in a leafy county called Surrey in the UK - not far from London. How do I send a search for someone's profile within the Community?

I was just on the Product Roadmap Webinar and wanted to reach out to Aldair directly about room block updates, showing on the timeline and the ability to book shoulder dates without having to split stay the reservation. I cannot figure out how to find an individual that is a part of the Community without searching through Topics and see if they are associated with that topic in someway. If someone could let me know how to search for individual members in order to private message, that would be very helpful.

Mews integration with MyData greek gov

Hello all mews users! We are based in Greece, and have Mews as PMS, Chanel manager SiteMinder and Mews booking engine, a and their payment terminal and functionalities. So far so good, until a new regulations came live: The Greek government wants us to be directly and lively connected to MyData which is a governmental plateforme. To make it short, when you checkout and proceed with payment, all this needs to be send to the plate form. So far some people says that mew will be able in a while, other says that mews will not be able to connect, other says that with an invoicers application and not site minder as Chanel manager things can be done. We are a small property and for a start we can do this manually until we have concrete answer weather Mews will find a way or not. Dear Greek properties can you please send us some insights ? Best

We're fortunate to have members from diverse corners of the world, creating a vibrant and multi-lingual environment. 🌍 While the community itself doesn't currently have built-in translation capabilities, fear not! There's a nifty solution using Google Translate.No matter which browser you use, you can easily download the Google Translate browser extension. Just search for "Google Translate extension" for your specific browser and follow the simple download process. Community tips: Marking an answer as Best Answer

You might have noticed there is a Best Answer option at the bottom of all questions. I’m here to explain what this does and why it helps 🙂Clicking best answer means that out of several responses you may receive on your question, one comment will have the most relevant solution. Marking that answer as the best one will help others that are looking for a solution to the same question find the most obvious answer more easily.Not only that, you receive points when you select a best answer to your question. ⭐ And if someone marks your answer as a best answer to their question, you get double the points! 💪 Sometimes an answer is marked as best answer when it hasn’t solved the problem. Some areas of Mews may not work as designed, or is on the roadmap for improvement or is experiencing a bug. The best answer here would be to either raise a support ticket or create or vote on a feature request. While this isn’t technically solving the issue, it’ll remove the question from the Help Others sect

Hello everyone,I’m thrilled because this is my first post on the Mews Community !At Mercure Roeselare we are seriously considering making a switch of POS in the next months. We are currently using Lightspeed L series but I’m not happy about the mapping nor the QR ordering possibilities . As an alternative we are of course looking into Mews POS.Does someone here have some experience with it already and could give me some feedback ?Thanks in advance
