Hallo Zusammen,wir sind aktuell auf der Suche nach einem Gutscheinsystem, welches sowohl mit Mews, als auch mit dem Restaurantkassensystem Gastronovi funktioniert.Über eure Erfahrungen wäre ich sehr dankbar.

Dear all,We frequently deal with large group bookings that place a significant number of rooms on option, which can occasionally result in an overbooking situation. In many cases, these groups eventually release some of their rooms, meaning no additional rooms are required. However, if they do end up needing all of the rooms they have on option, we have to accommodate these guests by upgrading them to the next available room category at no additional cost.I would like Mews to automatically block the next cheapest available room categories when we are, for example, two rooms overbooked. This functionality already works correctly through the Mews Booking Engine, but it does not seem to apply to other booking channels.As we are part of Best Western, we also use MemberWeb.Does anyone have experience with this setup or know how to configure Mews so that room availability is automatically adjusted in the event of an overbooking? Liebe Community!Hier ein kleines Feedback bzw. ein Workaround für das Thema Voranreise und Mobility Ticket im Bundesland Salzburg.Wahrscheinlich habt ihr – wie wir – das Problem, dass die Voranreise an Feratel nicht wie gewünscht übermittelt wird.Wir haben dafür mittlerweile eine Lösung gefunden: In MEWS haben wir einen zweiten buchbaren Service angelegt, der ausschließlich für das Mobility Ticket verwendet wird. Die Buchung wird separat über diesen Service erstellt, eingecheckt und dadurch die Übermittlung an Feratel gestartet. Vom Check-in bis zum automatischen Versand des Tickets vergehen in der Regel etwa 15 Minuten.Bitte beachtet dabei folgende Punkte: Die Buchung muss immer für den aktuellen Tag angelegt werden, da ein Check-in erforderlich ist. Hi,We have an old invoice in Mews that was paid through another system. As part of our cleanup, we would like to register an external payment against this invoice.However, when we try to do so, we receive the following error message: “Cannot specify both BillId and InvoiceIds.”We initiate the process from the invoice by selecting Add External Payment, but the window that opens asks us to create a new bill. And although we choose to do so, we are unable to register the payment against the existing invoice.Could you please explain why this is happening and how we can resolve it? Hi everyone,I am looking for advice regarding the integration between Mews and TESA locks.We chose TESA mainly because it is officially supported by Mews, but after following the Mews setup instructions, we still cannot connect Mews with TESA. The TESA system itself works perfectly: the locks work correctly and card encoding works from the TESA application. The issue is only the connection between Mews and TESA.I opened case 00668982 with Mews Support on 15 June. Since then, I have checked Mews Connector, tested different IP/port combinations, performed key creation tests, and sent all requested logs. On 18 June, I was told the case had been escalated to developers, but I have now been waiting 9 days without any real update or solution. This is affecting our daily operation, as we are having to create all keys manually from TESA.Could someone from Mews please review the case and clarify whether this is a known issue, a missing configuration step, or something specific to our setup?Than

Good morning everybody, I have somewhat of a weird question.We use MEWS BI for our reporting, by selecting our local segments out of a catalog of segments from all the Hotels belonging to the same collection. We have noticed that if we rebate and reissue an invoice (for adjustments, no other change made) the relevant revenue is taken out of the correct segments and reallocated to a category which is labelled as “none”, that is, no segmentation present. I have double checked and there is no way for me to re-input the segmentation data when I am reissuing a bill, but rebate and reissue is a key component of daily operations, especially now that we have had a recent change in some of our commission process due to Italian Law, and we need to rebate and reissue a number of fiscal documents printed earlier in the year. We cannot be “scared” to do this kind of actions in the PMS, with the fear of each operation messing up the reporting. Hello everyone, I was wondering if there's a way to automatically create certain tasks based on the length of stay? For example, a welcome basket should be brought to the room for any stay longer than 3 nights, or a reminder to change the sheets on the fifth day if the stay exceeds 5 nights. Creating each task individually is tedious and prone to errors. Thank you!

Has anyone found a solid dynamic calendar booking engine with Mews integration?we’re currently using D’edge but it’s mediocre and doesn’t truly support MLOS.  It’s not really fit for purpose.  The must have is dynamic availability, price is only a nice to have

Effectivement, notre restaurant vient de terminer l’installation de Lightspeed K-series mais nous avons des difficultés pour l’intégration Lightspeed X MEWS, j’ai lu tout ce que je pouvais trouver ici : Comment mapper Lightspeed K-series ? Cependant, je n’avance quand même pas car j’ai une liste de produit à mapper de la part de Lightspeed et eux me disent que je dois voir avec MEWS mais c’est très compliqué d’avoir quelqu’un qui sait m’aider au téléphone. On doit pouvoir utiliser Lightspeed à 100% à partir de mardi et ça fait 2 jours que je n’avance plus. Help me please !

Bonjour, est-ce que quelqu’un sait si nous pouvons dans les onglets comme “origine” si nous pouvons ajouter ou personnaliser les options de la liste déroulante. Dans l’onglet “Motif” aussi quand il y a une annulation ou autre j’aimerais la personnaliser pour nos besoins. Merci

 Can anyone please assist with explaining how some of my room types have Non-refundable cancellation tags, and some have Partially refundable tags.The same rates are applied to all the room types, so I would expect them to display the same way, all Non-refundable.Anyone know what might be causing the policy difference between room types?

Bonjour, je dois changer les tarifs à partir du 1er juillet, je sais ou aller mais c’est impossible de sélectionner la date de fin qui est le 30 juin 2027. Je dois modifier mon intervalle de mise à jour selon Roura mais je ne sais pas trop comment mis prendre. Peut-être qu’il y a une façon plus simple de changer les tarifs.

Is there any setting that can permit a guest to MODIFY their booking through the booking engine?  This from accessing the booking from their confirmation email.I can only find a way to cancel the booking.

Hi all,We've recently started using Mews BI for accounting and daily reporting. One thing we've noticed is that report segments can only be sorted alphabetically (A–Z or Z–A).For our reporting, it would be much more useful to define a custom sort order rather than relying on alphabetical sorting.Is anyone else missing this functionality? If so, how are you working around it today?Thanks!
