Assigning rooms to housekeeping

Hi all,

How do housekeeping supervisors assign rooms? 
Like I know the technical method, but do any supervisors have advice on the best way to do it?

From what I can see, it looks like it’s a very labourious process, and one which can’t efficiently be done every day. Or am I missing something?
