With mandatory e-invoicing coming to France, an invoice that gets stuck in the wrong flow can quickly turn into extra work.

And the shift really starts on September 1, 2026. French large and mid-sized companies will move to e-invoicing, and all businesses will need to be able to receive e-invoices. Even if your hotel doesn’t have to issue them until 2027, your corporate customers may already ask you to send invoices electronically. And when an invoice stands between you and getting paid, it pays to be ready…

You know the situation: a corporate invoice was sent, everyone assumed it was fine… and three weeks later, it still hasn’t been paid.

Then the questions start.

Was it actually received? Was it rejected? Is some company information missing? Does someone need to check another portal? And who owns this one : Front Office, Finance, Accounting?

Suddenly, one invoice has become a small investigation.

That’s exactly the kind of work Compliance Suite is designed to remove.

To help properties navigate France’s e-invoicing reform, e-invoicing is now available natively in Mews through Compliance Suite, which you can activate directly from the Mews Marketplace.

You close the bill. Mews handles the rest.

Your teams keep working in Mews as usual.

Compliance Suite then automatically applies the right flow required under French regulations:

  • B2B e-invoices go through France’s approved e-invoicing network
  • Public-sector invoices are routed through Chorus Pro
  • B2C and cross-border transactions feed into the required e-reporting
  • Invoices and supporting records are archived
  • Statuses come back directly into Mews

So if an invoice is accepted, rejected or needs fixing, Finance can see it directly in Mews.

No waiting for a customer to tell you something went wrong. No detective work across multiple systems. And ideally, no spreadsheet called invoice_follow_up_FINAL_v7.xlsx.

For Operations, it means continuing to bill as usual, with no new workflow to learn.
For Finance, it means more visibility and peace of mind over what was actually sent, accepted or rejected.
And for the property, it means fewer systems to connect, maintain and reconcile, and less time spent managing compliance.

Compliance, without another job to do

The point isn’t simply to produce the right electronic file… It’s to make compliance part of  the system your teams already use every day.

The Compliance Suite is available now from the Marketplace.
