Hello everyone,
I have a question, primarily for the Mews team.
The Czech government has announced a new electronic sales reporting legislation (EET 2.0), which is expected to come into effect on January 1, 2027. Under this legislation, POS and payment system providers will be required to connect to government servers and automatically report sales and payment transactions (cash and card).
Is Mews already preparing for this requirement, and can we expect support to be available by the time the legislation takes effect? Will Mews Payments terminals also be able to transmit the required transaction data, or will a separate solution be needed?
Additionally, are there any preparations or actions that properties should start considering to ensure compliance?
Thank you in advance for any information or updates you can share.
Kind regards,
Jan
