Hello everyone,
Does anyone have a workaround or best practice for automatic room allocation in Mews or either Flexkeeping that ensures the system assigns only clean rooms and ignores rooms that are still marked as dirty?
Our main challenge relates to same-day reservations, especially on Sundays, when we sometimes do not have housekeeping staff on site. In these situations, we may still have a number of clean and available rooms, while other rooms remain dirty and cannot be turned over. Currently, we are using Internal Use to prevent rooms from being assigned automatically until they are ready, but this creates additional manual effort and operational overhead. Ideally, for newly created same-day reservations, the system would automatically assign only clean rooms first and ignore dirty rooms entirely until no clean inventory remains.
We are looking for a more efficient setup that allows auto-assignment to remain active while prioritizing clean/ready rooms and excluding dirty ones until their status changes.
Has anyone implemented a better workflow or found a best practice in Mews / Flexkeeping for handling same-day arrivals?
Thank you in advance for sharing your experience.
Best regards, Hendrik
