Hi everyone,I need to regularly submit accommodation data to Statbel, the Belgian statistics office. For this, I need to export a list from Mews that includes the following information: Country of origin Check-out date Purpose of stay (e.g., tourism, business, etc.) Number of nights Number of guests Number of occupied rooms Does anyone know how I can generate or customize a report in Mews that includes all these fields? Ideally, the list should be exportable as a CSV or Excel file so it can be uploaded easily to the Statbel platform.Any tips, templates, or step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!Ellen

Dear community,Can anyone help me out with setting up the age categories correctly? some Booking.com reservations end up with wrong age categories for teenagers.In Mews I have the following age categories:Adult Teenager (13-17 yo) Child (5-12 yo) Infant/Toddler (0-4 yo)These are (hopefully) correctly labeled to Siteminder via Mews marketplace → Age categories.In Booking.com I have 3 children age categories set up with the same intervals. However, when a reservation is made in Booking.com with a teenager, it ends up as a Child (5-12 yo) in Mews. Which setting am I missing?please advise, thank you! 

We recently started using Digital Key for Salto Space.Does anyone here know how a guest can get the Digital Key if they have not chosen it during online checkin?So for example, a guest has checked in online, but did not choose Digital Key. They then want to get a Digital Key later, how do they do this?Update: It seems to be that when a guest has also booked a promoted service during online checkin, in our case a parking spot, they are not offered a Digital Key for the room.

Hello, I'm still quite new to using Mews, but I’ve noticed that it doesn’t seem possible to mark just the first night of a multi-night reservation as a no-show.This has been a bit frustrating, as it requires quite a bit of manual work to manage such cases. Do you have any recommendations or best practices for handling this?It might be something for the Mews team to consider improving in the future.  

Anyone have an easy answer on how to move a reservation in one space to another space.I have tried on Timeline and on Reservation screen. Keep getting error that space is unsuitable. Its not, its a 4 bedroom unit to a 4 bedroom unit .Maximum occupancy is same.The long way would be to cancel and rebook but not ideal. Thanks

Hallo zusammen,wir sind von HS3 zu Mews gewechselt. In HS3 haben wir mit sogenannten Dummy-Zimmern gearbeitet, um Gäste auf eine Warteliste zu setzen, wenn wir zum Zeitpunkt der Anfrage ausgebucht waren. Sobald ein Zimmer wieder frei wurde, konnten wir die jeweilige Person unkompliziert übernehmen.In Mews stoßen wir hier an Grenzen:Wenn wir zur internen Planung eine Überbuchung anlegen, lässt sich zwar die automatische Buchungsbestätigung unterdrücken, allerdings erhält der Gast dennoch im nächsten Schritt automatisch den Online-Check-in-Link und weitere Informationen. Das vermittelt schnell den Eindruck, dass das Zimmer bereits sicher sei, obwohl intern noch keine finale Zusage vorliegt.Dummy-Zimmer sind leider keine Option, da sie in allen Statistiken und in der Buchungsstrecke erscheinen, also weder intern noch extern geeignet.Wie geht ihr mit solchen Fällen um? Gibt es bei euch eine praxistaugliche Lösung, um Gäste intern als „Warteliste“ zu verwalten, ohne automatische Kommunikati

Wo kann ich bei Mews persönliche Briefe an meine Gäste schreiben und ausdrucken?Das ist  für unser Hotel wichtig, da wir Wert auf persönlichen Kontakt mit unseren Gästen legen. Unser Klientel Schätzt das sehr und dankt es uns mit immer wiederkehrenden Buchungen.

Bonjour,Côté facturation, les compagnies qui réservent pour leurs employés nous demandent parfois une facture avec le détail des tarifs journaliers. Sur les factures actuelles, nous voyons seulement le total du séjour condensé.La seule solution que j’ai trouvé pour voir le détail, c’est d’aller décocher l’option ‘’Facturer comme un package’’ dans les options du séjour. Ça fonctionne bien pour les compagnies qui ont seulement des frais de chambre. Par contre, en décochant cette option, on voit la ventilation de tous les produits forfait lorsque la personne est en forfait, même si ces produits sont activés en tant que package. Nous ne pouvons donc pas garder l’option de package inactive.Est-il possible d’avoir un type de facture avec la section ‘’Séjour’’ pour les tarifs journaliers ainsi que le total des produits forfaits condensés dans une section ‘’Produits du séjour’’, par exemple?

Hi,We just started using digital keys with our Salto locks. It is awesome… We do however anticipate the Wallet Keys to be the real game changer.When it becomes available we will be leaning into it hard and pushing the the tech to our guests through our website, SM, email etc. and hopefully it will be the preffered way of unlocking our doors. Would it be possible to get some more info about what the requirements will be to make use of Apple/Google Wallet keys, and when it becomes available? The next months, this year, next year, 2027? Is the beta program already started? We would love to be a pilot.Thank you!

Hi everyone,I'm trying to find a way to view a report that shows the specific promo codes our guests have used.We can create unlimited promo codes linked to a single Voucher in Mews. However, the booking report that groups by voucher only displays the associated Voucher ID, not the individual promo code that was actually applied. This makes it really difficult for us to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.I've also tried extracting this data via the API (as we have access), but the booking reservation only includes the Voucher ID, not the unique promo code.Has anyone found a solution for this, or is there a report I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone,we have six rooms with connecting doors, i.e. six rooms individually or three family rooms with open doors.Does anyone have such a setup and can help me?My questions are:can the availability be set so that six rooms are bookable and as soon as one is sold as a family room, two rooms fall out of availability? Hello,Does anyone know how we can change the VAT rate for the "Day/Night" product in a Bookable Service?Currently, we have two bookable services: a "stay" service and a "meeting" service.Room accommodation should be taxed at 7% VAT, while meeting room rental should be taxed at 19% VAT.However, both are currently set to 7%, and I haven't been able to find where to change this. Any help would be appreciated.Thank you!

Is anyone else facing problems with sending before start/before start reminders to booking.com guest?We are pushing very hard to get our guest so check-in online, however I see that booking.com is not accually forwarding these emails to the guest. In MEWS it shows as sendt.  I have tried to make a booking myself at booking.com and it is not working. I tried to remove the Sigin box, in the email templets, with just a link however it is still not working. Funny thing is that when I send the bill it has acually worked.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello dear Mews Community! We have changed our tax advisor. Until now, we worked with a physical folder, and 7 pages of the Mews accounting report were manually recorded. Now, we are transitioning to a digital exchange with a digitally equipped tax advisor. Are there any comparable hotels that digitally transfer their Mews accounting reports to their tax advisor? If so, what experiences have you had, and how do you work with Excel exports or connections from Mews to DATEV Unternehmen Online via OmniBoost? I would appreciate specific feedback. Looking forward to your insights! 

Hi, Today a guest pointed out that our booking module does not save the guest changes. So when you first select a date range with 2 adults and then view the rooms and select a room and add a child it does not save it and the booking is made only for 2 adults.  I made a screen recording wish might explain it more clearly:
