Kann mir jemand von der technischen Abwicklung SEPA berichten? Kann Mews das selbst der Rechnung zuweisen? Läuft das über ein Konto von Mews und die überweisen das dann gebündelt weiter oder wie genau funktioniert das?Hab zwar einiges dazu gefunden, aber wie das abgewickelt wird, dazu steht nirgends was.

Liebe Community, mit welchem Channelmanager arbeitet Ihr?Hat jemand die Kombination von Mews und Diers und kann mir etwas zu Euren Erfahrungen sagen?Ich war sehr unzufrieden mit Cubilis, da der Setup mit Booking nie richtig funktionierte und ich die Fehelr ausbaden musste. Zur Zeit bin ich mit MEWS direkt mit Booking verbunden. Mir fehlt jedoch AIRBNB,Hier scheint ja die Schnittstelle nicht wirklich priorisiert zu sein. Oder interessiert das noch jemanden?Es gibt hier bereits eine Abstimmung zu dem Thema - jedoch ist das Commitment eher bescheiden.Fraglich, ob es nicht genügend Mewser wissen oder das Interesse nicht da ist. Hello, How can I have confirmation PDF to send to my clients? So far I can’t only download a pre invoice or a register document for the reception. And many of them wants the confirmation PDF without the rates, especially when it’s a Company booking or some agencies. Thank you!

Buchungschaos durch fehlerhafte Abrechnung

Ich musste zwei Anzahlungen für eine Anzahlung korrigieren, da sie falsch abgerechnet wurde und habe die Rechnung storniert dabei entstand eine Rückerstattung, die allerdings nicht rückerstattet werden soll und habe das auch storniert. neu gebucht um es richtig zu fakturieren, allerdings habe ich jetzt zu viele Sachen und finde mich nicht mehr zurecht.

Returning customers and credit card problems

Dear Mews freaks here,does anyone have the same problem as me? If there is a direct reservation from a customer or is a returning customer who has a credit card in his customer record an automatic mail is still sent to the customer to say that there is no credit card in the system for him even though he has given it on the phone. Is there any way to do this when a reservation is made for a returning customer that the credit card is automatically linked to the new reservation? And furthermore, when we are checking in a customer, Mews indicates that no pre-authorization was made for the reservation even though it is present in the system. Is there any way to avoid this. Hope someone can help me with this? Robin

How can I add more custom payment types? E.g. for AIRBNB payouts (reservations fully paid by AIRBNB), what “payment type” can I use? I want to use “AIRBNB” as a payment type, but there is nothing similar.

editing items in a rate set up already

Hi hope someone can help.We are going to be updating our rates that are currently set up. When we include a New item, the old item is not deleted from a booking already in the system. This means we have to go into each individual booking and cancel the item we don’t want included anymore. Can anyone suggest another way to do this to make it easier?

Double payments - not following routing rules !!

HELP! All our reservations from Booking.com and now also Expedia/hotelscom is NOT following the routing rules that have been set up AND working for over 3 years…..Our flexible rates are supposed to become non refundable → charged to the BdC virtuel card latest midnight 48 hours prior to arrival date; and our non refundables are supposed to be charged directly upon booking/at confirmation…. see below ex from the system:Rate Flexible rate room only OTAArrival 2024-10-20 14:00:00 SundayDeparture 2024-10-23 11:00:00 WednesdayReservation sourceBooking.comCreated2024-10-09 20:51:33Scheduled payments & preauthorizationsReservation number Rule Type Estimated time Actions 38768 100 %, Start Payment 2024-10-21 06:00:00 The scheduled payments all of a sudden says payment THE DAY AFTER ARRIVAL at 06:00. How do you handle guest profiles if they pass away? Is there a best practice?Unfortunately there is no classification for that right now which would make sense i guess. So right now we remove all mailing checkboxes (newsletter, postal) and add a guest notice.

Mews Analytics optimisation

Hi all, Is there anyone that really uses the Mews Analytics here?In my opinion it’s way to slow. Most of the time you have to made about 10min before all data is loaded.If you change one of the filters or want to dive deeper, it takes ages again to load… It's so bad, you often just get errors that data cannot be loaded due to a timeout. Who has time to wait so long if you just want to look something up quickly? Anyone here that has a different experience and is actually able to use this feature properly?

Expedia + Booking Setup

HiI'm going live with Mews next week and would like to know how you’ve set up Expedia and Booking. Expedia:I’ve created all the brands as companies with travel contracts. I want to make sure that bookings made through Expedia Collect are routed properly, so the team knows that these bookings have already been paid by the guest to Expedia.I’ve also made a special rate plan for Expedia VCC because we charge the credit card the day before arrival (we need full payment since our reception isn’t open 24/7, and guests must pay before accessing their room). The problem is that the VCC is only valid on the day of arrival. Now, I’m considering deleting this rate plan and relying on the routing for all Expedia Collect travel agents instead. I’m curious about how you set up your rate plans and routing for Expedia. Do you have separate rate plans for Expedia Packages, business rates, mobile, etc.? Booking:We have a mandatory cleaning fee. Derogatory Term in Knowledge Base: Blacklist

In looking for information on how to block a Guest in Mews, a page listing the classifications and their meanings was presented. The term “blacklist” is a derogatory term offensive individuals who identify as black, as also mentioned by one of my Staff members who is of African American descent. Respectfully, please remove this term throughout the Mews platform. Last year or earlier this year, I requested this to be changed in the classification drop-down menu and this was done. I expected that Mews would have searched the platform and changed this everywhere but this is another location where it has resurfaced.

Booking.com virtual credit cards not being loaded into Mews Payment Methods

Hello, Just checking if I’m the only one here having this issue? Normally speaking, when we receive a reservation via Booking.com, the credit card details are automatically loaded into Mews (in the payment methods). Now this is not the case, and we have to do it manually. Anyone else with this issue? I thought this might be an issue on the side of the channel manager, but other OTA cards load in correctly. Thank you.
