Dear all, 

I would just like to check whether automated reports (eg. reservations or cancellations over the last 24hrs) are meant to omit the gues details from now on? (simply replaced by ****)

All data still to be consulted in Mews if necessary.

@PHman88 from what i know it is not possible at the moment as the exports/reporting is still very basic.

I’m Josue - one of the Community Ambassadors - and I’m happy to help clarify your question regarding report exports data. 

If a user has the required permissions, report exports show real guest information; masking does not apply by default to these exports.

What’s included and when it’s visible: 

  • Reservation and Customer reports can include PII (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, reservation numbers) when exported by users with permissions to view customer data.

  • Permissions control visibility. If a user lacks “View Customer data” or higher privileges, they won’t be able to export guest details.

  • Guests in house exports include guest details and age categories for authorized users.

In addition to joining the Analytics Beta that was mentioned in the thread we always recommend that you audit export history as a security measure to detect unusual or large exports that might indicate misuse.
