Bonjour, j’ai vu que pour imprimer les factures au moment du check out nous avons 3 types de choix/options possiblethe default Detailed overview, and additionally Overview by date, Overview by reservation,par contre aucune de ces options ne permet de masquer le détail des consommations au bar que le client aurait pu avoir. Par exemple une note pour notre restaurant :RESTAURANT (point de vente):cocktail champagne 18€ Menu du marché 35€ 2 verres de vin 24€Comment faire pour regrouper en 1 ligne les consommations de notre point de vente restaurant avec un global de 77€? je sais que la TVA sera ventilée à 20% pour les alcools mais les clients demandent souvent 1 seul ligne globale.Merci pour votre aide.

Handling fee to be calculated automatically

Hello,For each service that is not handled by us directly, ex transfer, ski pass...etc we are adding a handling fee 5% of the total of a certain service this is applicable to.My question is how to set up this in mews so that once handling fee is to be added into the bill to automatically calculates 5% of the price of the product refers to vs how we do now, calculate manually and then place it on the guests bill. Setting up payment policies for city tax

Hi everyone,I need help setting up specific payment policies for a rate group. Specifically, I want to prevent the automatic charging of city tax before check-in. Instead, only the nights and other products should be charged at that time.I noticed that this can be configured in "Additional Expenses." However, I am unsure how to define city tax as "additionnal expenses" or “products” within this setup. Hi, I can see how to reorder space categories but is it possible to reorder the actual spaces?We use room names rather than types and would prefer if we could have specific rooms/spaces to be booked first so ordered first, but it does not seem possibe in the space set up to order them?

Booking Engine - Channel Manager

Hello I am trying to find the easiest way to calculate percentages of sales by platform since we just star working with Mews last month. I see the easiest way it would be to enhance it, would be connecting the booking engine with the channel manager (siteminder in my case), would you recommed it to me? And what is the advantages and disadvantages to have it separately?? thanks in advance

Colors issues with {signInLink} Buttons and default Header Logo

Hello Community,I am reaching out regarding two issues with my booking confirmation email for a hotel, created through Beefree and integrated into Mews. Button Display: When I insert a button with the {signInLink} placeholder, the button appears in blue by default on Mews, despite the background colour I set in Beefree. I would like to know how to force the button’s colour in the HTML code so that it displays correctly. Header Logo: A default logo appears in the header on all emails in Mews. Tax-Exempt Reservations / Removal of VAT without duplicating your product library.

We have been using MEWS since March 2024 and are located in Ohio, USA. Due to our location, we work closely with government agencies, local higher education organizations, and several 501© tax-exempt organizations. We asked this during our onboarding almost 10 months ago and received the same responses listed in Can you generate invoice without VAT Summary - duplicate your product library (both Stay and Additional Services) that have the option of a taxed and non-taxed item/stay/product, or, create a product that you add to the bill as a negative amount equal to the taxed amounts. Has anyone found any other “work arounds” to this? Is @Mews Community Team looking into a more user-friendly alternative (I provided a suggestion in the topic linked above)? I assume we are not the only company that runs into this issue, so are there any other issues other people are running into, or other solutions? Wir bekommen unsere Buchungen von Booking über einen Channelmanager. Unsere Zahlungen von Booking erhalten wir am Folgetag als Überweisung.Wenn Gäste nach Feierabend buchen, können Sie zwar über den Kiosk einchecken, müssten aber die Rechnung theoretisch noch einmal bezahlen. Daher meine Frage: Gibt es bei Mews die Möglichkeit, dem Vertriebskanal Booking eine bestimmte Zahlweise (Überweisung) vorzugeben, damit der offene Betrag sofort auf Null gesetzt wird?

Wir haben unser System im November von Suite 8 auf mews umgestellt.Nun möchte ich per 31.11.2024 die Umsätze in die Fibu aus dem Buchhaltungsbericht übernehmen, da wir die Schnittstelle erst ab Januar zu Datev nutzen werdenBei der Auswertung von konsumierten Umsätzen sind die Debitoren mit Null ausgewiesen. Diese müssen doch aber auch gebucht werden?Nehme ich den Bericht "geschlossen", werden die Debitoren aufgelistet.Wir bilanzieren und ich bin der Meinung, dass wir die konsumierten Umsätze versteuern müssen, was auch in Fidelio der Fall war.Welche Auswertung muss ich nehmen, wie wird es von anderen gehandhabt, welche die Zahlen evtl. auch manuell in die Fibu übernehmen?

2 Night MLOS, with Auto-Release?

So, this should be fairly straightforward however does not seem to be playing ball with me and its now becoming quite annoying. What I need to set is a 2-night minimum length of stay for a Saturday, that effectively ‘lifts’ on Thursday to allow one night stays. It is currently set as this:which according to help articles etc says that this will apply a minimum 2 night restriction if the guest is booking more than 3 days in advance, but not apply restriction if less than 3 days in advance? Am I misunderstanding? as all that happens with this is it stops anyone booking any stay that is includes a Saturday no matter how long in advance they book and closes channel managers for Saturdays entirely. If i switch this round and do Minimum 3 days advance then it works as MLOS for Saturdays on channel managers but then doesnt allow saturdays to book one night on the day?

Closing Bill Issues from recent release: Credit note not visible

Hi Mews Community, I would like to know if any of your hotels are facing an issue regarding the management of adjustments and credit notes? In our hotels, when trying to create a credit note, it is impossible to view it and correctly associate it with the following items: Bill, payment For exemple, An invoice for €900 A credit note for €150 A payment of €750The balance should be balanced.The issues encountered are:The credit note is marked as "unpaid," when it is actually a refund, and it is listed under invoice xxx, although it is not an invoice. It is impossible to reconcile the unpaid invoice, as the credit note is neither assignable nor identifiable in the system. (Previously, there was a line in the billing tab.)Are you facing this issue too? If so how did you solve it? Any tips would be greatly appreciatedBest regards,

Hey all We want to change the settings for the online Check-in via Mews connector.Does anyone have an idea where we can change the settings? All our rooms are paid before guest arrivals. Therefore we do not want to ask again for their cc within the online check-in. Can somebody help and give me a reply where i have to change the setting? Looking forward to some help

E-mail dispatch error

If an email cannot be delivered, the system should send a notification.It happens again and again that offers / confirmations are not delivered.In daily business it is not possible to check every day whether everything has been transmitted without errors. Add COMPANY NAME in the Booking Engine

Would it be possible to add an optional company name field in the booking process?During the week we have a lot of business guests and they need an invoice in the name of the company. There are many reasons why this makes sense: It helps us already before check-in to see who's coming or identify several reservations by guests from the same company or a booking from a new guest from a “returning” company or you can reduce the number of change requests because of wrong billing address etc…..It’s useful and necessary in every way and the OTA’s send this information as well.This couldn't be too big of a deal, or?Thanks,Max
