Hi guys 👋,we need a bit of help 🆘 on reporting 📊 and exporting the reservation report 📝 for our accounting 💼 — which is just the last day, from 11 AM 🕚 till midnight 🌙, due to accounting hours 🕒.We have found three different options 🔍 but neither of them work ❌.Kind regards 🤝

Unfortunately, our experience doesn’t always match these promises — and it feels like someone is not telling the full truth.Right now, I urgently need a development to respond to a guest request — or perhaps your CEO can personally explain to the guest why your PMS is not functioning properly or efficiently in this case.Here is the situation:We need to split the breakfast charges. One breakfast is covered by the guest’s company, and the second breakfast (for the accompanying person) is to be paid directly by the guest. The guest has requested a separate invoice showing this breakdown.How can I do this in Mews?You already allow this kind of separation in the “Kids” section — so why can’t we apply the same logic here? Who was supposed to develop this feature in the past four years?I urgently need a solution

Is there MEWS report to export dietary information on guest profiles? Alternatively where can food allergies be recorded and easily exported via a MEWS report?

Hi!Does anybody have the image sizing specs for unit pictures and product images? Nothing quite seems to be resized properly to frame automatically by the system when uploading pictures (vertical or horizontal)

Hi,In the past few days we are having this problem that the guest need to validate their email as last step of their online check-in but they don’t receive it.It’s anybody having the same problem? do you know how can we fix this?

A guest has requested a detailed breakdown of payments linked to his reservation. Specifically, for the stay from June 17th to 19th, we need to allocate and split the amount of CHF 905.05 by credit card, so it matches the invoice exactly. As you can see, several prepayments have already been made, but we cannot process them in the way the guest requires.This is a basic PMS function, and it’s very frustrating not to be able to fulfill such a standard request. Hallo zusammen,vielleicht könnt ihr uns hier schnell helfen.Wir haben immer wieder das Problem bei Frühanreisen, dass diese nur einchecken können wenn die Early Check.in Gebühr von 30 EUR akzeptiert wird, dies wollen wir aber nicht immer.Wir haben dieses Produkt bereits auf nicht mehr buchbar von Gästen und Mitarbeitern gesetzt, die Frage kommt aber immer noch… speziell vor 10 Uhr.Danke für die Hilfe.

Hallo zusammen, wir stellen oft Rechnungen als Debitor aus, diese werden seit der Umstellung auf MEWS teils über den BEzahlbutton auf der Rechnung beglichen. Nun ist die Frage ob MEWS im HIntergrund den Debitor storniert und dies auf die entsprechende Zahlungsart umbucht oder ist hier eine manuelle Buchung notwendig. Sonst haben wir 2 Zahlungen aber nur eine Leistung.Danke für euren Input.

Hello,We currently are selling products (as upsells with the room reservation) and we would like to be able to restrict to some days of week the display of the products on Mews booking engine.Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi all,We have setup our automated payment policies to charge guest cards, if a card declines we must mark the card invalid on the OTA and then 24hours later we can try the charge again and cancel the reservation. We would love to be able to manually schedule a 2nd payment attempt instead of manually trying the card again. If the card is then charged no further action is needed and we have eliminated the need to make additional manual checks.Anyone found a way to do this? 

Hi Community,I hope someone can help me: I’d need a report by month for rooms occupied, out of order, ADR, revenue - but split up for every day. Is there a possibility to get such a report from Mews or do I have to download the report for each day and assembly it myself in excel?I hope you can help.Best regards,Katharina

I just wondered if anyone has heard any more about the Mews digital key being available for Salto locks? It has been mentioned before in a webinar, but i just wondered if there is any more concrete information about when it will be available?

How do you setup the Salto integration? I’ve found this help article:https://help.mews.com/s/article/salto-for-mews-pms?language=de… but it seems to be outdated because there is a specific salto app in the mews marketplace referenced that doesn’t seem to exist.I guess the help article still shows how the setup is generally functioning but i would like some information about the pricing and details. 

The rate management in Mews is a bit shallow. Especially the pricing options for special occupancy (children or single person in double room) is really lacking some serious adjustability.We use rates for single usage rooms and had to compromise the way we handle children by quite a bit. The problem with rates is that the restrictions are (also) not powerful enough to handle that so in third parties these rates are just available  so its possible to book a single person rate even though there are multiple guests in the reservation.My question is: How do you manage these cases? Is there anything planned to revamp this lacking features?

Just curious 🤔 — what happens if we don’t allow the Expedia 🌍 integration to create a travel agent profile 🧾?Is it then automatically assigned to the main Expedia profile 🏨🔗?

Good Day.When my housekeeping team members log into their accounts on a PC (not in the mobile APP), they can browse through all manager reports, financial details etc.Yes, I double checked if the rights setting is made for “Housekeeping only”.Just that one box is checked.Any idea why that is possible ?have a great day.Carsten
