Can anyone help me out with setting up the age categories correctly? some Booking.com reservations end up with wrong age categories for teenagers.
In Mews I have the following age categories:
Adult
Teenager (13-17 yo)
Child (5-12 yo)
Infant/Toddler (0-4 yo)
These are (hopefully) correctly labeled to Siteminder via Mews marketplace → Age categories.
In Booking.com I have 3 children age categories set up with the same intervals.
However, when a reservation is made in Booking.com with a teenager, it ends up as a Child (5-12 yo) in Mews.
Which setting am I missing?

I’m Paul - one of the Community Ambassadors - and I’m happy to help clarify your questions regarding Booking.com age categories.
In order for age categories to be integrated correctly in Mews reservations, the age categories buckets need to be identical in Mews, in the Channel Manager age categories mapping in your SiteMinder integration in the Mews Marketplace, and in the Booking.com extranet.
If you would like Mews Support to review your specific age category configuration and investigate further on your Booking.com reservations that integrate with the incorrect age category, I would invite you to open a support ticket via our chatbot.

@Karst as far as I know booking x mews there is just a possibility to have 4 categories linked. We have done the onboarding for two hotels in the past two months and that was the information we received from our onboarding manager. hence we do have
0-5
6-11
12-14
15-xx
as we do need that set up regarding Austrian law for city tax reasons.

thanks for your message! I can't really find where the discrepancy is. I have raised a ticket with support now to investigate, thank you for the suggestion.
