Hola,Necesito crear los productos de cena de navidad y cena de fin de año y que se añadan automáticamente a todas esas reservas que soliciten Media Pensión o Pensión Completa para las noches del 24 y 31 de diciembre.Es posible?

Mews  rolled back an earier update in regards to rate update. (For a few days we were able to enjoy a hassle free rate management tool again). Well, now they are back with the same, click all the way, time sonsuming rate updates. Again, instead of being able to simply click on a date and right away overwrite the rate, press enter, save and automatically jump on the next date and repeat the prosess, they introduce a clicking nightmare. Just listen to what the crowed is asking and don’t fix what does not need fixing. you are making everyones life hearder.  

Hallo zusammen, arbeite jemand von euch mit Run of House? Ist das in Mews umsetzbar, z.B. wenn man eine eigene Zimmerkategorie dafür anlegt? oder gibt es die Möglichkeit die Zimmerzuteilungsregeln ausser Kraft zu setzen? Danke für eure Anregungen und Impulse.

Hello everyone, hope you are doing well!Is there a handy solution for the following situations?1. Scenario:The occupancy of a double room changes during the stay. For example: Night 1 → only 1 pax From Night 2 onwards → a second person joins The room rate stays the same, but: Breakfast is linked to the number of guests. This means that either one breakfast is “too many” for the first night, or one breakfast is missing for the second night. Of course, we can manually add breakfast items on the invoice in advance, but then: The posting date is incorrect The product is not reflected in the breakfast report The pax count for the second night still shows only 1 Creating a second reservation is also an option, but then FO and HSK would both need tasks set for “stayover” handlin

Hi!Before I mess around in our demo, maybe someone can give me a quick hint? (The help.mews.com docu is not helpful about this)So, when I change an existing service product (not additional service) in settings, will that affect instances of the same product that have been added to reservations/bills in the past (for future reservations)? Or will these stay the same unless they are removed and added again to the bill, either by rule or manually?Thanks in advance for any quick answer :-)Kind regards,Jean-Philipp.

Hi All,I have a question. Our main e-mail address is booking@. We need to change this for our invoices.The e-mail address can’t be booking, it needs to be something else like invoice@. Does anyone know if this is possible to change or has had a simular situation?Thanks so muchTamara

We updated all our guest email templates yesterday. We first deleted all the old ones and then created new ones. Everything looks good and polished in MEWS. When I send a test email to myself, the confirmation is messed up and contains several errors. Are other users experiencing this issue?

Hi together,as nice as the new tool for the email templates is. How do I manage to display the services together with the prices per room in the email templates? Especially with confirmations for bookers and for several rooms, the email looks very bad. The services are listed per room and the prices are posted below all rooms and they are not linked to the rooms.The room rate is displayed as the average rate for all rooms. This is completely pointless.By the way, I do not unterstand, why the room rate is displayed as an average rate, however the services, like breakfast and parking are listed everey single day. Normaly this extras doesn´t change the price during a stay. Otherwise, a change of the roomrate is common.However, do you have a solution for displaying the prices per room?That would be nice. Best regardsLeif

Hi,It would be great to see at a glance the gateway state of a bill sent on the guest/company dashboard.We can see it was “sent” but it doesn’t mean it was received.Guest/Company profile dashboard Gateway State let us know when dropped - in this example, there was a typo in the email addressWe could more easily identify when invoices have never reached our cutomers.Do you think that would be feasible?Thanks

Hello Mews Community,I recently came across the feature "A Smarter Way to Price for the Seasons in Mews Operations," which was launched on 04/07/2025. We are interested in trying out this feature; however, we noticed that the screen we have doesn't match the one shown in the Mews explanation.Could someone please clarify whether this feature still needs to be implemented on our account, or is it already active for all accounts? Hallo zusammen,ich habe folgendes Problem, dass ich in Mews keine Releasezeit nach Stunden anlegen kann und in unserem Channelmanager (HNS) habe ich eigentlich einen automatischen Close für bestimmte Raten nach Uhrzeit aktiv, welcher durch Mews immer wieder geöffnet (überschrieben) wird.Hat jemand Erfahrungen damit in Mews eine Ratenschließung nach Uhrzeit einzustellen?Danke und liebe Grüße,Jasmin 

Bonjour, nous avons mews depuis peu, Nous sommes dans une impasse. Quand je suis dans la factuation, il arrive parfois que j’ai deux factures ouvertes, une à payer et une à rembourser, mais je ne veux pas rembourser. Exemple, il avait réservé pour deux nuits, je l’ai fait payer à l’arrivée mais il raccourcit son séjours d’une nuit. Je lui fait donc un ajustement sur sa facture, et quand j’arrive à la facturation, mews veut que je fasse un remboursement et un paiement du même montant, mais le client à déjà payé la totalité à l’arrivée et été remboursé d’une nuité .  pouvez vous m’aider avec cela ??car tant que la facture n’est pas à zéro je ne peux pas effectuer le départ et comme le motel est plein je voudrais bien récupèrer ces chambres là!

Hallo, wir bräuchten in der Buchungsstrecke eine Auswahl für Hunde (so wie Erwachsene plus Kind, ergänzend plus Hund) da wir spezielle Zimmer nur für Gäste mit Hunde anbieten möchten. Gibt es hierzu schon Erfahrungen wie man dies bei Mews umsetzen kann? BZW. kommt diese Ergänzung in der Buchungsstrecke noch?Besten Dank.

The timeline changes reservations colours depending on arrived, online check-in, held over etc. I would like my group rooms to be differentiated by a color also. Can this be done?

Hello everybody, Is there any way to set up a restriction so that a certain rate is only bookable on specific days? Right now, I can only manage it by closing off days, with the default being that the rate is always open. For example, we have a Christmas package that should only be available on the Christmas days and not at any other time. At the moment, I have to close it for the entire year (and the year after) instead of simply being able to say that it should only be open during Christmas. That means I need to create two restrictions for one rate. With multiple rates, this results in a lot of restrictions and little overview. How do you handle this?

Hallo zusammen,wie handhabt ihr das Thema No-Shows und Stornierungen?Unser aktueller Ansatz lautet:Keine Umsatzsteuer bei Stornierungen & No-Shows 🚫💶 Grundsatz: Wenn ein Gast ein Zimmer reserviert und nach Ablauf der kostenfreien Stornierungsfrist storniert, liegt kein Leistungsaustausch vor. Stattdessen handelt es sich um echten Schadenersatz, der nicht umsatzsteuerbar ist. Stornorechnungen 🧾 → Beim Erstellen unbedingt darauf achten, keine Umsatzsteuer auszuweisen. No-Show-Rechnungen 🛑 → Auch hier findet kein Leistungsaustausch statt. Daher gilt das Gleiche: ohne Umsatzsteuer fakturieren. ✅ Merksatz: Schadenersatz ≠ UmsatzsteuerpflichtAllerdings verrechnet ME

is there anything in development where an icon (pie) is placed on the dashboard for unallocated rooms instead of a red line on the timeline?

Currently you can only assign a housekeeper to spaces on the same day, and that assignment is cleared at midnight on the same day.As a digital motel, we don’t have a 24 hour reception. Our front of house staff at the end of their shift in the evening assign spaces to housekeepers for the next day of cleaning, which can’t use the Mews app and to print out cleaning sheets because space assignment is cleared at midnight. This is tedious, particularly when cleaning schedules change… as is often the case.It would be far more effective if we could assign a housekeeper to spaces for the following day - something that most other PMS and housekeeping apps allow. Given Mews’ focus on being digital first, enabling more flexibility with their housekeeping module would align well with this intent.Is this a feature others would like to see developed?

Hallo zusammenwir haben das Problem, wenn wir mehrere Zimmer gleichzeitig buchen, sei es eine Gruppe oder jemand bucht für mehrere Firmenmitarbeiter, bleibt der Name des Buchenden für Angebot, Bestätigung, Rechnung etc. fix, auch wenn wir die Gastnamen bei "Gruppen" anpassen. Genauer gesagt, wenn z.B. Muster Max 10 Zimmer bucht und ich dann für jedes Zimmer einen anderen Namen eingebe, erscheint auf der Rechnung unter jeder Zimmernummer Muster Max, wie auch in der "Buchungsübersicht".Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, dies zu ändern?Herzlichen Dank für eure Ideen.
