Hello all,Over the past few weeks, we've been experiencing consistent issues with the email addresses disappearing at the point of customer checkout, when we make the invoice. We've had to manually re-enter the email addresses every time in order to send the customer their invoice via email. Additionally, there have been instances where the email address has disappeared from the customer's sheet as well, but not always.We're unsure as to whether this is a bug in the program or if customers are deleting their own email addresses from their customer sheet. Could you please investigate this matter?I've attached an example of a customer record where the email address was disappeard,as well as an example of an invoice where the email address has disappeared.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.Best ragards Robin

For companies nearby we have contracts for which their guests can stay in our hotel with a discount and payment after departure per invoice.We have noticed that for returning guests, their open bill doesn’t appear in the Accounting Ledger as they have future stays attached to their profile. Our Front Office team doesn’t make the official invoice at check-out. Therefore bills tend to get very high within a short period of time.Would the only way to make the outstanding payments visible in the Accounting Ledger be for the Front Office to make the invoice after departure?Would Payment Routings help in this case?Thank you very much in advance!

Heyo,Does anyone have a way to use an event calendar inside of Mews rather than external apps/programs?At the Arcade Hotel, we host quite a few events, and have been using tasks to inform our staff. Nothing shows up on timeline, nothing shows up in notifications, only if they check tasks (which they do). What is everyone else using?Dan

Hello!I have been using MEWS for a month now, and so far so good but I would like to ask if there was a way to setup the default filters in some reports. Or maybe to save the selected filters and create a report of your liking. I know it’s possible to schedule exports, but it’s an excel sheet and when I’m having a look for some things I like to see it within MEWS, but then again, I always have to select the right filters every time.Looking forward to hearing from you! Kind regards,Sergi

Hi smart people,do you know a way how to access a chat with a guest via reservation? Is there some option to activate that shows the chat history in a reservation or guest profile similar to the notes?Sometimes we receive information that would be great to access again via reservation overview rather than having to search for this one chat with this one guest.I know how to access the reservation that is linked to a chat, however, not the other way around. Thank you and kind regardsTobias

We would like to automatically route all accomodation items to one Bill, and then all on-site adds to a 2nd Bill.This helps us for a few internal accounting reasons, and is helpful to guests.Is there a way to set a rule to do this automatically?  I feel there should be, only coming up short right now :)Thanks!  

In doing our government reporting audit, I need to go back and check bills that are associated with reservations.How can I quickly and easily find bills that are associated with a particular reservation after the bills have been closed?As a reminder - once bills are closed - they disappear from the reservation (screenshot below)_ Thank you :)Ethan  

Hi All,  We have a company who make a lot of reservations and they have multiple receptionists who make the bookings and they all use the same email adres (reception@…….) is there a way to have to have multiple bookers with the same email adres so that all emails and invoices are addressed to the right receptionist?  

I wanted to make daily pick-up report comparing on the books from yesterday vs. today. Our Hotel did not subscribe MEWS Analytics. Any recommendation how to proceed manually on MEWS. Thanks

Hi everyone,  I have a question about the news app and its nottifications. Some of our employees do recieve notifications about guest messages and some don't. They all have the option “recieve guest messages” enabled in their profile. They all have the newest IOS (16.3.1) but some of them don't even see mews under the settings. Any idea how to fix this?  It seems very random who gets the messages and who don't..

Hi Mews community,I was wondering if any of the countries using Maestro for payments has found a solution for payments in the merchant. Currently we are loosing out to bookings to major OTA's who do accept Maestro. However, when a guests books through Mews he cannot use Maestro.Thank you for your thoughts 🙂

Dear Community,When we enter a new reservation manually (taken through email/phone), we are faced with an automatic settlement failed email being sent every time we book a reservation in non-refundable, instantly, right after confirming the booking, even after taking cc details.Is the reservation sequence we are doing wrong, or are we not the only ones struggling with these automatic emails? 

Hi,We are looking in to the options of adding our rooms and apartments on AirBnB. As there is no direct MEWS marketplace plugin (like the MEWS Booking.com marketplace plugin) we will have to use a channel manager. MEWS explains how to use a channel manager and which ones work with AirBnB, but that’s about it. No advice or feature list.So, I am looking at the channel managers (with Mews marketplace plugins) that should be able to do the job:Not Promoted by AirBnB, but these say they have AIrBnB support (so I’m not sure what the limitations are)Siteminder CubilisPromoted by AirBnB (and has MEWS marketplace plugin)Roomcloud  Rentals United Yieldplanet STAAHI would like the following to work:Real time update of availability Tariffs and restrictions centrally managed in MEWS and pushed via channel manager to AirBnB Ability to chat with AirBnB guests via MEWS chat (like Booking.com Marketplace plugin does) So, I would really appreciate any feedback on these channel managers. A travel agency has 3 reservations on the books.They paid for all 3 with a single wire transfer. I would like to issue a single invoice with the 3 Reservations, such that I can record the single payment. I do not want to split the payment into 3 parts.We preach the Golden Rule → What Happens in real life is recorded in the system Is this possible?  Or do I have to move the 3 rooms under a single bill? Thank you ;)Ethan Client will be sending a SINGLE wire for the full amount of all three reservations.

Hi Mewsers, I was wondering if someone could help me with the automatic settlement rules.As per policy we want to charge reservations a couple of days in advance. This has been set as an automatic settlement rule for the different rate groups. We offer both RO and BB rates. If a guest books a BB rate, the breakfast product is added to the booking (packaged). In the rate group we’ve selected to charge both nights and products in order to charge the package as a whole instead of only the nights. However, with the products enabled, all items are now charged (ie. parking, museum tickets...), which we of course do not want. How are you all coping with this?

Dear Mews friends,I am having a problem with the listing of our VAT number on the invoices. The data of the customer is clearly listed including his VAT number, but our VAT number is not listed on the invoice. This data is entered correctly in settings, property, and general settings. Our own data are mentioned twice on the invoice.Below the example. 

We want to make a Special Rate that is available from April 1 - April 30th. I can make the Rate.I can make the Voucher -> And set the dates the Voucher is valid.I can make a booking engine for that voucher. I can’t seem to find where to restrict the dates that the Rate/Voucher is applicable. I’m sure this is blindingly obvious and I forgot …
