City taxes vs daily rate

Hi everyone!

 

One week ago, I set up different age categories and loaded the city tax as a 0 euros in the products for them. However, when I have one reservation with 4 adults that finally are 2 adults and 2 children (the system does not recognise when there is children and put adults everywhere) and I change from 4 adults to 2 adults and 2 children, the system automatically put the children city tax a 0 euros but it adds the amount substracted to the daily rate and I have to rechange it manually. :(

Hi @Mdmar,

The easiest way to manage the city tax is by using the fixed city tax feature in Mews. 

I’m sure the support team or your customer succes manager can assist you further with the set-up.
With the fixed city tax, the fee will only be applied as configured.
