Am i the only one here that finds it hard to understand that the “order summary screen” on Kiosk is showing all items part of the reservation at check in, where we obviously have some of the items (like corrections, commission adjustments and others) listed with the ‘bill as package’ option. We dont want the guest to see these items, but acc to support this is a ‘by design’ functionality? 

Could somebody please confirm if Mews is working on a solution to enable invoice sending via PEPPOL by the end of this year? Because on the search i could ot find anything about this. Best regards Robin 

Hallo zusammen,nutzt jemand die Funktion des POS, RFID Karten (Zimmerschlüssel) zu lesen und somit die Rechnungen auf die Zimmer zu buchen? WIr hatten dies mit Protel in Kombination mit Matrix POS.Dies half uns operative in den Outlets die Rechnungen der Gäste entsprechend abzuschliessen.Aktuell haben wir Probleme dies mit MEWS aufzusetzen. Folgende Systeme sind invovliert. Hi Mews Community,At our hotel, key cards expire at the fixed checkout time (11:00 AM). However, we often find that guests need to retrieve luggage or personal items from their rooms shortly after checkout. This can lead to frustration when they can't access their room and need to return to the front desk for assistance.Question: How do other hotels handle this situation? Do you:Extend the validity of key cards for a short period after checkout? Have a process for manually reactivating cards upon guest request? Use alternative solutions, such as temporary access codes or staff assistance?We are exploring ways to improve the guest experience while maintaining operational efficiency. Hello AllNeed your help in figuring out what filters to set to see what pricing changes were done by staff. I am trying to figure out if the staff changed the nightly rate from the system suggested price to something else. Also trying to figure out if the staff changed the product prices to something else. Trying to keep tabs on unauthorized discounts given by staff. This is messing up revenue budgeting and forecasts. It is not feasible to go through each reservation and see what rates they have been charged. So I am hoping that there is a filter - ANY FILTER in MEWS - that can track what pricing changes were done by staff and for which reservation. I tried various filter settings in Action Log, but no luck so far. I have a situation where I know staff changed the product and nightly rate pricing, but I cannot find that reservation using the Action Log report. Please help me figure this out.

Wir würden gerne bereits in der Abrechnung wie vorher auch (vor der Anreise) die Firma/Verknüpfung hinterlegen, finden jedoch bei manchen Rechnungen die entsprechenden Einstellungspunkte nicht.Handelt es sich hierbei um einen Bug oder ist diese Funktion nur bei bereits eingecheckten Gästen verfügbar? Hi all 👋,we onboarded our last property a week ago 🏨✨.Now we would like to use the MPE booking engine for our website 💻🛎️.It was set up by our external provider, but currently we only have the option to book adults — no additional age categories 👶🧒👦.Does anyone know how to adjust the setup to enable more age categories? 🤔🔧Thanks in advance! 🙏 

Hi all, I can’t see any planned updates for this in the Mews app. I was wondering if anyone has ever suggested or voted for the option to check out guests directly through the app.Our housekeeping team needs to inspect rooms when guests don’t leave on time, and it would be ideal if they could check the guest out on the spot after confirming the room is empty.Has anyone looked into this or has any thoughts on it?

Hello!We have recently started using the Integration to program keycards directly from MEWS. We are using version 1.1.36.0 of the Dialock KeyWriter.Unfortunately, seemingly at random, some of the programmed keys are not working i.e. the command is sent to the encoder and one card works while another card does not even though both keys were programmed together by the same command coming from MEWS.We are already in contact with Häfele support and have opened tickets with MEWS previously.We are in the process of trying to figure out the pattern and analyzing the error codes the locks/keys are producing.I know this is a shot in the dark and probably a pretty niche issue but it can’t hurt to ask and try using all possible avenues for finding a solution.Does anyone have experience in the setup of the integration or has anyone here run into this issue and was able to resolve it? If so we would be immensly grateful for any support or sug

Good afternoon, We have a popular product (museum ticket) that can be pre-booked by the customer.However, for purchases as of April 2026, the price of the product increases drastically.Is it possible to have the product bookable at old price for stays until 31 March;and to have the product bookable at new price for stays from 1 April?If not, I’m afraid I’ll temporarily have to discontinue offering this product to the customer.

Unfortunately, when people have validated there credit card, they are not redirected back to our domain (www.nexthousecopenhagen.com) for the confirmation-page - they stay on app.mews.com where the tracking isn’t working.Does

We would like to create an availability block that generally excludes certain days of the week.Specifically, we would like to block certain rooms for a company from Monday to Friday for the entire year, but automatically exclude weekends.Is there a way to set up such a recurring availability block in Mews without having to create individual availability blocks on a weekly basis?

Dear MEWS Community,We are facing a significant challenge regarding the integration of our Point of Sale (MEWS POS) and accounting system (SAGE 200), specifically impacting tax compliance for Spain's Immediate Supply of Information (SII) mandate.While our "on credit" tickets flow correctly through the PMS (MEWS) to the Tax Agency, our "Outlet" (direct sales) tickets are not being automatically communicated to the SII, nor is their associated VAT being correctly included in the Omniboost CSV file for SAGE 200.This forces us into a time-consuming, manual process to comply with tax requirements. As MEWS/Omniboost currently cannot provide a solution, we are reaching out to the community for workarounds or alternative integrations to automate the reporting of "Outlet" sales and their VAT to the Spanish Tax Agency.If anyone requires more detail

Can anybody give me a real answer when MEWS POS will be available in Malta?We are in love with the PMS and want to complete our experience with the POS. I am super eager to find out when the POS will be available and what the hold up is on getting it available in Maltese hotels?

HelloIt often happens in a busy city environment that we are left with just very few rooms on the day.  These rooms can be  snapped up at the same time by different OTA’s which leads to overbookings.Is it possible to block specific OTA’s for certain dates to book? I know i can add restrictions but these apply to all OTA’s. If I add a restriction to the OTA’s, no room will be sold and im left with unsold rooms , but if I have no restrictions, , it can lead to a book out. Catch 22 and far from ideal, but it would be so much easier if we would be able to keep a selected channel of selling us, so we can manage our availability much more efficiently  and maximize revenue

De esta forma Analytics vuelca datos erróneos - además, si la factura ya está cerrada, te genera una devolución y un nuevo cargo y sinceramente no es nada eficiente este aspecto. ¿alguien sabe alguna otra forma de cambiar a un cliente de habitación sin que esto suceda?-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------When splitting a reservation in order to move guests to another room, why does MEWS create a new reservation? This results in inaccurate data being reflected in Analytics. Moreover, if the invoice has already been closed, it generates a refund and a new charge, which is honestly quite inefficient.Does anyone know of an alternative way to change a guest’s room without this occurring?Kind regards,

We would like to remove specific periods from our quarterly or yearly performance reports in Mews. During those selected periods, our property was closed, which results in artificially low occupancy and revenue figures.Our goal is to view performance without having the closed dates included in the calculations. Is this possible in MEWS?

Ther Restrictions part of Mews is very confusing. I have set up a minimum night stay of 2 nights for a certain period. Suddlenly, on the Mews Booking engine that minimum is not working. Getting one night reservations and losing money. Does anyone know how to fix this ?

Dabei haben wir jedoch folgendes Problem: Wir bieten Zimmer mit der Möglichkeit für Zustellbetten an, verfügen aber nur über eine begrenzte Anzahl dieser Betten – weniger, als es Zimmer gibt, in denen sie theoretisch angeboten werden können. Da Mews leider kein eigenes Inventory-Management für Zustellbetten besitzt, können wir deren Verfügbarkeit aktuell nicht zuverlässig steuern. Gibt es dafür eine Lösung
