Hey guys, Im back back with my anual question! At the moment, when someone checks in via the portal, their reservation does not automatically get started on the day of arrival.Our third-party communication software now allows us to use the deep link for the Mews guest portal, so I’d like to switch to using the Mews guest portal instead.I need the possibility to automatically start all reservations where guests have checked in online at their check-in time. Since everything is prepaid at our properties, this wouldn’t be an issue.Is there a solution for this? That would be great!Cheers,Hendrik

We gonna use the new Mews mailing editor soon and there is one question i have:How do i copy contents from one mailing to another?Create the same contents over and over via the editor interface is extremely tedious so there has to be a way to copy these contents i guess … i’ve found a “import” menu point that is accessible via the three dots menu so maybe there is a way to import a template. Any infos on that?

Hi there!There is an “Import” button under the three-doted menu button in the Email template builder: Does anybody know what that does? It opens a file open dialog where .json files can be selected, but what kind of json files are supposed to be imported?I looked at the help file but found nothing explaining it. Vielleicht habe ich es nicht richtig verstanden: Preise und Restriktionen kann man für alle Zeiträume eingebenBuchbarkeit ist jedoch auf 365 Tage beschränkt Wie kann ich den Buchbarkeitszeitraum für uns intern und unserer Website öffnen? Oder müsste ich da mit anderen Raten arbeiten? Wir haben Gruppen, die teilweise 2 Jahre im Voraus buchen und können diese nicht eingeben. Welche Möglichkeit gibt es da?Danke für die Hilfe

Hallo zusammen,wir sind von HS3 zu Mews gewechselt. In HS3 haben wir mit sogenannten Dummy-Zimmern gearbeitet, um Gäste auf eine Warteliste zu setzen, wenn wir zum Zeitpunkt der Anfrage ausgebucht waren. Sobald ein Zimmer wieder frei wurde, konnten wir die jeweilige Person unkompliziert übernehmen.In Mews stoßen wir hier an Grenzen:Wenn wir zur internen Planung eine Überbuchung anlegen, lässt sich zwar die automatische Buchungsbestätigung unterdrücken, allerdings erhält der Gast dennoch im nächsten Schritt automatisch den Online-Check-in-Link und weitere Informationen. Das vermittelt schnell den Eindruck, dass das Zimmer bereits sicher sei, obwohl intern noch keine finale Zusage vorliegt.Dummy-Zimmer sind leider keine Option, da sie in allen Statistiken und in der Buchungsstrecke erscheinen, also weder intern noch extern geeignet.Wie geht ihr mit solchen Fällen um? Gibt es bei euch eine praxistaugliche Lösung, um Gäste intern als „Wart

Hat jemand eine Idee ob man Produkte für einen Zeitraum sperren kann?Da zum Beispiel einige Produkte nur für einen gewissen Zeitraum nicht verfügbar sind.Wie zum Beispiel die Halbpension. 

Hi everyone, My Team have noticed that when we look at a guest billing page and they have future reservations the bills do not display in chronological date order.A future stay for next year will sit above the stay for today and one for next week for example and it really confuses new hires. Also, why when we add a new product, it automatically makes a new bill now?This update is a wasting on our property and we waste a lot of time merging bills back together.Am I missing something?Does anyone have any tips on how to revert back to before the last update or to amend our property specifically? Any advice would be great. Thanks! 

I am using Mews direct connectivity to Expedia. I map Expedia Hotel Collect as syncronized rate, but then all my Expedia Collect reservation that are room only, come in as Hotel Collect. Opening a ticket with support did not help, as they say only Expedia Hotel Collect needs to be mapped. It is important to get reservations under respective code, as with Hotel Collect the property is responsible for the taxes, and Expedia Collect is net of taxes and commission. Did anyone run into this issue? And how did you get it resolved?

Hello Mews Community, We would likes to offer a Black Friday promotion! From 31 October to 31 December (booking window) guests will be able to use a special voucher code when booking via our website. This voucher allows them to reserve stays for the entire year of 2026. Important details: The voucher applies only to a non-refundable rate, already discounted by 20%. This special non-refundable rate is valid for Suite categories only. All other (standard) rates remain available for all room categories and dates (outside the voucher-only setup). To participate, guests enter the voucher code at booking. I am building a date-restricted bounceback offer for travel with arrival dates between06/28/24 - 06/30/24, minimum 2-night stay, with a specifically created voucher (FAREWELL) using specifically created rates (PRIDE 2024 BB). The rates are part of my existing bounceback rate group (Bounceback) in which I have an already-functioning bounceback offer (an offer that is valid for much longer than the one I’m now building).RATES: The rates accurately shows the 20% reduction on the Pricing tab, and they are enabled on the Details tab.RESTRICTIONS: Using the existing bounceback offer as a reference I have mirrored the type of restrictions on the new offer, Closed To Arrival To 06/27/24, Closed To Stay 06/28/24 - 06/30/24 Excluding Min 2 Nights, Closed To Arrival From 07/01/24. Hey everyone,It’s not directly a MEWS topic, but:Is anyone experiencing issues with Booking.com reservations via SiteMinder?For about two hours now, no reservations or modifications have been coming through from Booking.com via SiteMinder.We’re not even receiving the usual confirmation emails from SiteMinder, and the reservations don’t appear in their extranet either.So it seems to be a SiteMinder issue — but exclusively affecting Booking.com. Other OTAs don’t seem to be impacted.Is anyone else experiencing the same issue by any chance?Just curious to know. Thanks in advance!

Our goal is to aggregate all services into a single unified search flow (cabins, apartments, hotels, across locations). Hallo zusammen, mich interessiert das Thema vorzeitiger Check-out. Ein Gast bleibt beispielsweise vom 19.10. bis 23.10. und hat seine Rechnung bereits beglichen. Am 22.10. teilt er mir mit, dass er um 18:00 Uhr abreisen wird und er ist einverstanden, dass ich 100% Stornogebühren berechne bzw dass er kein geld zurück kriegt. Wenn ich jedoch das Abreisedatum in den Eigenschaften ändere, werden mir Stornokosten gutgeschrieben, die ich ausgleichen muss. Das möchte ich aber vermeiden und keine Stornokosten im Bericht haben. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, einen manuellen Check-out durchzuführen, ohne eine Gutschrift zu erstellen?

I'm wondering if there's a way to communicate during the booking or checkout process when we have an announcement specific to the stay date. For instance, if someone's reserving the night of December 31st we want them to know that there's a party for New Year's Eve (perhaps a ticket to an event would be included with the stay). We don't want to have to share this New Year’s Eve information with people booking other dates as it's not relevant to the vast majority of people looking to stay at the hotel.Does that functionality now exist and if not what’s the best alternative?

Alguno más tiene problemas para cargar los datos en Analytics? y por otro lado, aprovecho para preguntar si alguien sabe qué filtros hacer en el apartado analítica de gestión y en la pestaña “por día” para que sólo analice el revenue recibido por alojamiento, descartando otros productos.Por último, tenemos también problemas para conectar con analytics dos usuarios al mismo tiempo. Muchas gracias de antemano

Hallo Community, mir ist die Berechnung der Bettensteuer nicht ganz verständlich. Laut Gesetz muss sie auf den Nettoübernachtungspreis ohne Umsatzsteuer berechnet werden. Hello,If you have a certain age restriction to be allowed to stay in certain rooms, how are you restricting this with the Mews booking engine? For example, we have one room type which cannot accommodate children under 5years. The only workaround we found is to write this in the room description, however guests still see the option to add how many children/infants to their reservation so doesn’t really solve the problem. We also have dormitory rooms which are adult only, but again they are offered child/infant as these are allowed in other room categories. Thanks, 

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to revert the dashboard/ home screen back to before the latest update. I’ve had increasingly negative feedback from my team that it is aesthetically worse and adds not benefit to their daily operations. They have also noted that reservations used to span x5 across, this has been restricted to x4 which restricts the information they are able to review at a time. Thinner rings/donuts are less eye-catching now that they are thin, this is unhelpful when they are in a high demand period and need information quickly. On their behalf, I thought I would just check and see if it would any way to undo the latest MEWS update.Kind regards :)

Hallo zusammen,leider haben wir ein Problem mit unserem Kiosk Check in. Bei bestimmten Buchungen (vorwiegend bei Gruppenbuchungen oder Buchungen bei denen Anreisende und Buchende Person nicht die gleichen sind aufgekommen) löscht bzw. überschreibt das Kiosk die im PMS angelegten anreisenden Gäste. Wir haben extra ein (nicht besonders professionelles aber effektives) Video erstellt, auf welchem wir den Fehler rekonstruieren konnten. Selbst nach mehrmaligem hinterlegen der Gästekartei überschreibt der Kiosk diese wiederkehrend, wie auf dem Video erkennbar.Hier ein Link zum Video -> https://share.icloud.com/photos/063y9ObebIF-RW8QU4kFWYoXw Wir haben die Tablets zudem bereits mehrfach neu gestartet und auch die Kiosk App auf Updates geprüft.
