Suggestion for Time Allocation in Space Category Settings

Currently, housekeepers rely on a “fixed” amount of time per space, depending on the category, features, and other variables. Housekeeping Intervals

Hi,I'm looking for clarification on housekeeping intervals for long-stay bookings. Our goal is to clean each room every 7 days, but we want to control the specific day of the week when this cleaning occurs.I assumed that marking a room as "clean" would reset the 7-day interval each time. However, it seems the interval is only tied to the "system" status change date. For example, one room was marked "dirty" on November 5, and we cleaned it on November 8. Ideally, the 7-day interval would start from the most recent clean date (November 8), resetting the next cleaning date to November 15. But in this case, the interval reset on November 12, which is 7 days after the system’s initial "dirty" mark on November 5.Is there a way to adjust settings so the 7-day interval starts from the last manual cleaning date rather than the system date?

Age categories are not getting mapped to SynXis

Hi! Anyone else here using the Sabre/SynXis integration and having trouble or has some tricks due to age categories? Set up in Mews must be right, because both BE and booking.com take the right rates/ extra fees for children, but somehow the mapping/ connection between Synxis and Mews is not working. Expedia Direct Connect with MEWS

Hello, I have been live with the Expedia direct connect with MEWS and been working with support, but I keep getting different answers. I try it, it doesn’t work. I am looking for advice on setting up Expedia Collect and Hotel Collect mapping in market place.We have 2 rate plans, 1 for Expedia Collect and 1 for Hotel Collect. I can only map 1 and I can only select Hotel Collect or Expedia collect.If I use the Expedia Collect rate code with the collect type Expedia, then ALL bookings go to the Expedia Collect rate plan. Meaning, if a guest books Hotel Collect, it books in MEWS against Expedia Collect. And, visa versa on that.This has been a back and forth with support for a month and no solutions from support are fixing the issue. Has anyone else found the right answer?

As we establish our group accommodation billing process, we've identified the need to issue pro forma invoices or invoices that specify a deposit amount—such as 33%—to confirm a booking. This functionality is particularly essential for group bookings, where securing reservations often requires a partial payment upfront.Currently, Mews does not provide the option to generate an invoice based on a percentage of the booking total. Instead, the system only allows invoicing for the entire amount, which can complicate transactions and discourage early booking confirmations. Hello, I don't know if this topic has already been discussed. We've noticed, following feedback from a customer who checked in online, that when the customer fills in the online check-in form, the form confirms “the room category assigned”. However, in my opinion, it would be preferable to indicate “the room category reserved”, especially in relation to the paid upgrade feature of the reservation. For example, if we have upgraded a guest for free (for whatever reason, construction work, overbooking, etc.) and then, when they arrive, we change them back to their original category, it could be confusing for them. We've also had the case where the room number assigned to him was confirmed on the form, even though this room number can change at the last minute. Wouldn't it be better in this case to indicate “the category of room booked” on the online check-in form, and above all not to indicate the room number? If this is something we can do ourselves, could you please get back to me and t

Booking.com deletes Online Check-In and Mews Messages Links

I am surprised that I couldn’t find any thread discussing this issue.Maybe I am the only one with this problemFor the past month, I’ve tried everything, but Booking.com continues to remove all links from every email we send. This prevents us from sharing the online check-in link or Mews Messages link with our guests.My booking.com account manager suggested writing out the link instead of using a button, but that didn’t work either.I even added the „app.mews.com“ link to Booking.com whitelist - „your approved links“The account manager is aware of the issue but hasn’t provided a solution.Does anyone know a solution to this issue?

Hello, We’ve been getting Mews emails lately: “as per your request; you can reset your account password ….”However, no (active) staff member or myself asked for a password reset.I can apparently disregard this e-mail. However, should I be worried someone is trying to get into my account?

action log - no possibility to undo actions?

Hi. I wonder why the action log does not offer any “undo” buttons? As an admin I am also only a human being and I do make mistakes when it comes to setting rates, adjusting rates, changing reservations ao. Pluss the lovely hotel guests make changes, want different rooms ao.Should be a no brainer to put up an “undo” feature? Asking guests for arrival time in Online Guest Services

We currently use a third party to handle online checkin and digital keys, one of the main reasons is that we find it useful to know approximately what time guests would like to check in, and this to be automatically reflected in the arrival time shown in Mews. It also gives the guest the opportunity to buy early check in as an extra.Now that Mews is offering digital keys, I want to see if we can stop using and paying for the third party system and do everything in Mews, hopefully also giving a more seamless experience for the guest.According to the Mews support chat it is possible to ask guests for arrival time in the Mews online check in, but I have never been able to find out how to do this.Has anyone got this working directly in Mews?

Disable on day pre arrival mail

Is there a way to disable the pre arrival e-mail that is sent the morning of arrival.I know that there is a option in the bookable service but i am not sure if this deactivates both the mail two days before arrival and the mail on the day of arrival.Is there a way to disable only the mailing on the day of arrival?

Kann mir jemand von der technischen Abwicklung SEPA berichten? Kann Mews das selbst der Rechnung zuweisen? Läuft das über ein Konto von Mews und die überweisen das dann gebündelt weiter oder wie genau funktioniert das?Hab zwar einiges dazu gefunden, aber wie das abgewickelt wird, dazu steht nirgends was.

Liebe Community, mit welchem Channelmanager arbeitet Ihr?Hat jemand die Kombination von Mews und Diers und kann mir etwas zu Euren Erfahrungen sagen?Ich war sehr unzufrieden mit Cubilis, da der Setup mit Booking nie richtig funktionierte und ich die Fehelr ausbaden musste. Zur Zeit bin ich mit MEWS direkt mit Booking verbunden. Mir fehlt jedoch AIRBNB,Hier scheint ja die Schnittstelle nicht wirklich priorisiert zu sein. Oder interessiert das noch jemanden?Es gibt hier bereits eine Abstimmung zu dem Thema - jedoch ist das Commitment eher bescheiden.Fraglich, ob es nicht genügend Mewser wissen oder das Interesse nicht da ist. PDF Confirmation with and without rates

Hello, How can I have confirmation PDF to send to my clients? So far I can’t only download a pre invoice or a register document for the reception. And many of them wants the confirmation PDF without the rates, especially when it’s a Company booking or some agencies. Thank you!

Ich musste zwei Anzahlungen für eine Anzahlung korrigieren, da sie falsch abgerechnet wurde und habe die Rechnung storniert dabei entstand eine Rückerstattung, die allerdings nicht rückerstattet werden soll und habe das auch storniert. neu gebucht um es richtig zu fakturieren, allerdings habe ich jetzt zu viele Sachen und finde mich nicht mehr zurecht.

Returning customers and credit card problems

Dear Mews freaks here,does anyone have the same problem as me? If there is a direct reservation from a customer or is a returning customer who has a credit card in his customer record an automatic mail is still sent to the customer to say that there is no credit card in the system for him even though he has given it on the phone. Is there any way to do this when a reservation is made for a returning customer that the credit card is automatically linked to the new reservation? And furthermore, when we are checking in a customer, Mews indicates that no pre-authorization was made for the reservation even though it is present in the system. Is there any way to avoid this. Hope someone can help me with this? Robin

How can I add more custom payment types? E.g. for AIRBNB payouts (reservations fully paid by AIRBNB), what “payment type” can I use? I want to use “AIRBNB” as a payment type, but there is nothing similar.
