Dear reader, 

I am in the process of starting a cooperation with a new OTA. 

The reservations will reach Mews via our standard Channel Manager (Stardekk).

Anything I need to do so that the reservation gets read into Mews correctly? 
(eg. should I like a ‘Travel Agency’ or something? Or will the reservation simply drop, mentioning the name of the new OTA?)

Thank you for your question! I’d be happy to clarify this for you😄

If you’re adding a new OTA that will be connected through your channel manager, the connection itself should be set up within the channel manager. We recommend mapping the travel agency in Mews if you’d like reservations received via the channel manager to be automatically linked to a company profile in Mews.

While reservations will still be received even if the OTA is not mapped, mapping it helps ensure the OTA name is displayed clearly and accurately on the Reservation Details page in Mews Operations so you can track the reservation source.
