Ich habe einen Check-in Automaten von Ariane. Leider werden die Reservierungen nach 24 Uhr nicht mehr gefunden. Wo kann ich die Einstellung korrekt vornehmen, um auch nach 24 Uhr am Automaten einchecken zu lassen?

Hi everyone!It’s my first month at Mews and I am getting crazy to prepare the end of the month reports. I am very surprised how difficult is to pull out basic KPIs such as occupancy %, revenue and room nights per channel/segment for a closed month. I still don’t understand why the reservations by source report doesn’t count the manual reservations.I have checked Mews University and the discrepancies between the manager report and the reservations report… too much work that could be easily solved with a simple dashboard. Plus you need to run month by month if you wanna see how the pace is performing for the future. Personally I expected much more from Mews regarding KPIs. It’s definitely not at the same level of the rest of the platform. Just start with the basics!I would appreciate some guidance to make the reporting process easier. Thanks!

Hello,For each service that is not handled by us directly, ex transfer, ski pass...etc we are adding a handling fee 5% of the total of a certain service this is applicable to.My question is how to set up this in mews so that once handling fee is to be added into the bill to automatically calculates 5% of the price of the product refers to vs how we do now, calculate manually and then place it on the guests bill. Thank you

Hi all,First post here. I'm running tech support for a small rental apartment website that will integrate MEWS into it's pages.So not really up to speed with the whole MEWS system/backend tbh.Our website is multi language (NL/EN/DE), and will have a button to switch to the MEWS landing page for date searches, booking etc.What I would like to set up is that every language version of the website will open up the corresponding language version of the MEWS landing page.So the button on the Dutch website will open the Dutch version of the MEWS page, the English website the English landing page etc.The MEWS backend has all languages set up, and this all works in the frontend. So that part is fully set up and finalized.Any tips on how can I set this up in a weblink on a button, so I can ‘direct’ the landing page to a preferred language.Thanks for all replies,Rob WuPakasa - LeidenHolland

Hi there!For a bookable service for space like parking or bike, or similar a guest /adult count doesn’t make sense. Is it possible to disable the adult count field in the booking engine for that bookable service somehow?I checked  help and asked the bot, and searched feedback, but could find anything in that regard.So I figured either I am missing something obvious, or it’s really not there …?Best regards,JP.

Guten Tag zusammen,gibt es Informationen, wie die Integration von XRechnung Deutschland in Mews abläuft? Die Integration im Marketplace/Abonnements ist bereits durchgeführt. Schaltete Mews das Programm ab 01. Januar 2025 automatisch aktiv oder muss eine manuelle Freischaltung durchgeführt werden (wenn ja, wie?).Es wäre schön, wenn jemand mehr Infos hierzu hätte! Besten Dank!   

Hi all, Is there a way to automatically check in guests who completed online check in? It would work in the same way the online check out works. Guests that complete the online checkout are automatically checked out. Thanks

Will the booking engine for hourly bookable services just show up whenever it is enabled? I am anxiously  waiting for this feature, but I’m not sure when I can start to set this up properly. 

Hi, I can see how to reorder space categories but is it possible to reorder the actual spaces?We use room names rather than types and would prefer if we could have specific rooms/spaces to be booked first so ordered first, but it does not seem possibe in the space set up to order them?

We have been using MEWS since March 2024 and are located in Ohio, USA. Due to our location, we work closely with government agencies, local higher education organizations, and several 501© tax-exempt organizations. We asked this during our onboarding almost 10 months ago and received the same responses listed in Can you generate invoice without VAT  Summary - duplicate your product library (both Stay and Additional Services) that have the option of a taxed and non-taxed item/stay/product, or, create a product that you add to the bill as a negative amount equal to the taxed amounts. Has anyone found any other “work arounds” to this? Is ​@Mews Community Team  looking into a more user-friendly alternative (I provided a suggestion in the topic linked above)? I assume we are not the only company that runs into this issue, so are there any other issues other people are running into, or other solutions? Wir bekommen unsere Buchungen von Booking über einen Channelmanager. Unsere Zahlungen von Booking erhalten wir am Folgetag als Überweisung.Wenn Gäste nach Feierabend buchen, können Sie zwar über den Kiosk einchecken, müssten aber die Rechnung theoretisch noch einmal bezahlen. Daher meine Frage: Gibt es bei Mews die Möglichkeit, dem Vertriebskanal Booking eine bestimmte Zahlweise (Überweisung) vorzugeben, damit der offene Betrag sofort auf Null gesetzt wird?

Hi Mews Community, I would like to know if any of your hotels are facing an issue regarding the management of adjustments and credit notes? In our hotels, when trying to create a credit note, it is impossible to view it and correctly associate it with the following items: Bill, payment For exemple, An invoice for €900 A credit note for €150 A payment of €750The balance should be balanced.The issues encountered are:The credit note is marked as "unpaid," when it is actually a refund, and it is listed under invoice xxx, although it is not an invoice. It is impossible to reconcile the unpaid invoice, as the credit note is neither assignable nor identifiable in the system. (Previously, there was a line in the billing tab.)Are you facing this issue too? If so how did you solve it? Any tips would be greatly appreciatedBest regards,  

Hey all We want to change the settings for the online Check-in via Mews connector.Does anyone have an idea where we can change the settings? All our rooms are paid before guest arrivals. Therefore we do not want to ask again for their cc within the online check-in. Can somebody help and give me a reply where i have to change the setting? Looking forward to some help

Hey,how are you handling TIPs on reception?The easiest way is probably to book a product on the bill.But is it also possible for the terminal to ask whether the guest wants to add a tip during the checkout?And then it’s booked automatically?Does anyone have experience with this? Thank you :) Kind regardsAnna

Dear CommunityWe used to be able to see all the rooms of the “group” (if a reservation belonged to one) lighted up when clicked on one in the timeline. This was easy for room allocation, to make sure reservations of two or three rooms were not placed on opposite sides of the hotel. I noticed today that this feature is no longer working. I preferred it when it was still possible to see the entire group, this made my work a lot easier. Now I have to manually go to each reservation to make sure I’m not missing something. Any one else having trouble with this? 

I am looking for a way to generate an invoice without VAT. This is only relevant if the customer is a tax exempt organization. Does anyone know how to…? Thx

Dear Mews, I noticed that on the billing screen, an added product is henceforth displayed twice.(although in fact consumed only once)I see this is to do with either “Linking product to reservation” or not.If you do (which is default), the 1 product is listed twice on the billing screen.If you don’t, the 1 product is listed once on the billing screen.1 product being listed twice on the same bill creates confusion - it gives the idea that there were two consumptions (whereas only one was taken).However, as the default setting is to link the product to a reservation, there must be a good reason to work this way? Please let me know what the best way to work is.Most clear way to work, as far as I am concerned, is that 1 added product is listed once on the billing screen (~ siutation 2).Any implications I should be aware of when not linking a product to a reservation?---I will visualise both situations:  Situation 1: one product (minibar consumption) is added and ‘product is linked to reserv

Hallo zusammen,bei uns gibt es die Option rechts über den Kategorien “ Vor Ort Essen” und “Zum Mitnehmen” - gerne würde ich “Zum Mitnehmen” löschen. Man kann da automatisch eine Anpassung der MWST hinterlegen, da wir aber nichts haben, was man mitnehmen kann, würde ich das gerne deaktivieren. Ich weiß allerdings nicht wie. Hat da jemand eine Ahnung?LG, A. Faber
