Hello!

We are new to the Mews community and are running into a small issue.

Currently we have a minimum stay set up for the Fridays (3 nights) and Saturdays (2 nights) throughout the year.

We have this setup through a closed for arrival restriction with the exemption being the minimum nights.

However, we would like for this restriction to disappear X amount of nights before the arrival date to fill in any remaining gaps.

We have tried adding a Maximum Before exemption, but this does not seem to work.

Do you have any tips & tricks?

Kind regards,

Patrick

That would also be interesting for us. We check this manually and remove the restriction manually.

Hello @Pwattel and @RoterOchse

My name is Dani and I am a member of our Support Team. Thank you for your question regarding restriction management.

The process you are describing is currently not possible with the current Restriction set up. However, there is an active feature request here that is closely related.

Although it is not possible right now, our Product Managers regularly check our feedback board to see which features our clients would like to see implemented. I recommend commenting and voting on the request as every comment/vote counts!

We are always at the helm of innovation so it is possible this functionallity could be added to future iterations of restrictions :)

Hello @dani.molina

Thank you for your response.

Maybe it’s just us, but it seems like this is a pretty critical thing missing from MEWS.

If we understand it correctly then, there is no way in the current system to implement MLOS without having to worry that that same restriction needs to be removed at some point. Because the timeline has been booked enough for there to be only a few gaps, shorter then the MLOS?

Perhaps some other hotels here have had similar issues and found a workable workaround?
