We updated all our guest email templates yesterday. We first deleted all the old ones and then created new ones. Everything looks good and polished in MEWS. When I send a test email to myself, the confirmation is messed up and contains several errors. Are other users experiencing this issue?

Hi together,as nice as the new tool for the email templates is. How do I manage to display the services together with the prices per room in the email templates? Especially with confirmations for bookers and for several rooms, the email looks very bad. The services are listed per room and the prices are posted below all rooms and they are not linked to the rooms.The room rate is displayed as the average rate for all rooms. This is completely pointless.By the way, I do not unterstand, why the room rate is displayed as an average rate, however the services, like breakfast and parking are listed everey single day. Normaly this extras doesn´t change the price during a stay. Otherwise, a change of the roomrate is common.However, do you have a solution for displaying the prices per room?That would be nice. Best regardsLeif

Dear Community!I'm looking for some help in calculating hotel's management fees. The fee is based on a percentage of total revenue, but I'm struggling to find a single, reliable report in Mews that gives me the correct final revenue figure.The most logical reports - accounting & Manager - often show differences in the total revenue.Can someone please point me to the specific report you use for this?Any advice on filters or best practices would be a huge help.Additionally, if someone can help me understanding the differences in total revenues of both reports would be awesome. Thanks in advance for your assistance! ​@Mews Community Team ;)   

Hi,It would be great to see at a glance the gateway state of a bill sent on the guest/company dashboard.We can see it was “sent” but it doesn’t mean it was received.Guest/Company profile dashboard Gateway State let us know when dropped - in this example, there was a typo in the email addressWe could more easily identify when invoices have never reached our cutomers.Do you think that would be feasible?Thanks

Hello Mews Community,I recently came across the feature "A Smarter Way to Price for the Seasons in Mews Operations," which was launched on 04/07/2025. We are interested in trying out this feature; however, we noticed that the screen we have doesn't match the one shown in the Mews explanation.Could someone please clarify whether this feature still needs to be implemented on our account, or is it already active for all accounts? Hello! I am still struggeling with my question regarding routing automated payments in Mews Operations - This is mainly an issue for conference guests. They are almost always supposed to go on an Invoice to the company. I used a rate I have created called “KK rom” for all of my conference guests. So since there is no company attached to this rate I can not route it to the company. Would I have to create a seperate rate for all of the companies visiting us for conferences to make this work? We of course have some rates for contract customers that are set up with individual rates but a lot of these will pay individually if they are visiting us for a job but when they are here for a conference it will go on an invoice. Would I then have to have 2 different rates for each company? One for when they should pay on checkin/checkout and one for Invoicing?  We have 100s of companies visiting us so if I have to make an individual rate and then a routing for each of t

Hallo zusammen,ich habe folgendes Problem, dass ich in Mews keine Releasezeit nach Stunden anlegen kann und in unserem Channelmanager (HNS) habe ich eigentlich einen automatischen Close für bestimmte Raten nach Uhrzeit aktiv, welcher durch Mews immer wieder geöffnet (überschrieben) wird.Hat jemand Erfahrungen damit in Mews eine Ratenschließung nach Uhrzeit einzustellen?Danke und liebe Grüße,Jasmin

Bonjour, nous avons mews depuis peu, Nous sommes dans une impasse. Quand je suis dans la factuation, il arrive parfois que j’ai deux factures ouvertes, une à payer et une à rembourser, mais je ne veux pas rembourser. Exemple, il avait réservé pour deux nuits, je l’ai fait payer à l’arrivée mais il raccourcit son séjours d’une nuit. Je lui fait donc un ajustement sur sa facture, et quand j’arrive à la facturation, mews veut que je fasse un remboursement et un paiement du même montant, mais le client à déjà payé la totalité à l’arrivée et été remboursé d’une nuité .  pouvez vous m’aider avec cela ??car tant que la facture n’est pas à zéro je ne peux pas effectuer le départ et comme le motel est plein je voudrais bien récupèrer ces chambres là!

Hi everyoneI was wondering if you could help me with the following issue. Some of the hotels in our group are unstaffed during the night. For Booking.com guests, we work exclusively with VCCs. However, we’ve noticed that some guests check in outside of reception hours, consume extras on-site (such as minibar), and never show up for check-out — leaving their bill unpaid.Through online check-in, we can encourage guests to add a credit card in advance and follow this up manually.Ideally, it would be great if MEWS allowed us to send an “Add credit card request”, similar to a payment request but without a specific amount. This way, the reception team could send this for each reservation and follow up more easily.What are your thoughts on this? Or any other suggestions to solve this operational challenge?

Unser Steuerbüro hat den ersten Export über Datev erhalten. Da die Gebühren für das Mews Payment vom Umsatz abgezogen werden, gibt es gerade noch eine Diskrepanz. Meine Frage: Wo finde ich in Mews eine klare Aufstellung, welche Gebühren genau von den Zahlungen unserer Gäste einbehalten wurden? Hi everyone,has anyone noticed a change since the update in early/mid-June? I believe this coincided with the go-live of the mail template editor.Previously, when we changed the “Reservation Owner,” the confirmation email sent to the booker would list the individual guest names for each booking number. Unfortunately, this no longer happens.Now, the confirmation only shows the booker’s name at the top of the message, with no guest names shown for the individual reservations. For multi-room bookings, this is understandably quite confusing for both us and the guests.Overall, the default confirmation template for the booker (which we still use) is noticeably less effective than it was before the update.We have tried editing the standard template to fix this, but so far without real success.We managed to show the bookers name for all reservations, but thats not really helpful either.Has anyone found a solution or workaround for this? The timeline changes reservations colours depending on arrived, online check-in, held over etc. I would like my group rooms to be differentiated by a color also. Can this be done?

Hello! ​@Mews Community Team I noticed a very annoying issue with the KIOSK App update process.Since we, and most probably everyone else (?) is running the App for Guest SelfCheckIn in Single App Mode / Kiosk Mode on the iPad automatically updating the app through the app store or via MDM is not possible. I guess because the App is forced to stay open and cannot be updated while open.Therefore someone has to manually deactivate the Single App Mode through MDM or Supervised Access Tools. We use iMazing to put the iPad in Supervised mode and therefore the update process is extra tedious (go there, connect with cable to Mac, deactivate Single App Mode, initiate App Store Updates, reacticate Single App Mode )It would be appreciated if functionality breaking updates were announced in a mailing list so that we are aware if the fact that we need to go and update the app manually. Hello everybody, Is there any way to set up a restriction so that a certain rate is only bookable on specific days? Right now, I can only manage it by closing off days, with the default being that the rate is always open. For example, we have a Christmas package that should only be available on the Christmas days and not at any other time. At the moment, I have to close it for the entire year (and the year after) instead of simply being able to say that it should only be open during Christmas. That means I need to create two restrictions for one rate. With multiple rates, this results in a lot of restrictions and little overview. How do you handle this?

Stattdessen handelt es sich um echten Schadenersatz, der nicht umsatzsteuerbar ist. Stornorechnungen 🧾 → Beim Erstellen unbedingt darauf achten, keine Umsatzsteuer auszuweisen. No-Show-Rechnungen 🛑 → Auch hier findet kein Leistungsaustausch statt. Daher gilt das Gleiche: ohne Umsatzsteuer fakturieren. ✅ Merksatz: Schadenersatz ≠ UmsatzsteuerpflichtAllerdings verrechnet ME
