Assign housekeepers to a future date

Currently you can only assign a housekeeper to spaces on the same day, and that assignment is cleared at midnight on the same day.As a digital motel, we don’t have a 24 hour reception. Our front of house staff at the end of their shift in the evening assign spaces to housekeepers for the next day of cleaning, which can’t use the Mews app and to print out cleaning sheets because space assignment is cleared at midnight. This is tedious, particularly when cleaning schedules change… as is often the case.It would be far more effective if we could assign a housekeeper to spaces for the following day - something that most other PMS and housekeeping apps allow. Given Mews’ focus on being digital first, enabling more flexibility with their housekeeping module would align well with this intent.Is this a feature others would like to see developed?

Hallo ZusammenHat jemand ebenfalls den digitalen Schlüssel mit SALTO bereits aufgeschalten?Wir haben das Problem, dass sich der digitale Schlüssel nur aktiviert, wenn auch eine Schlüsselkarte erstellt wird. Wenn die Codierstation keine Schlüsselkarte erstellen kann, dann aktiviert sich auch der digitale Schlüssel nicht. Wir wissen nicht welche Einstellung fehlerhaft sind und sind auch im Austausch mit dem Support. Nun wollte ich fragen, ob jemand das System erfolgreich nutzt und evt die Einstellungen beim KeyCutter teilen kann. Danke für eure Hilfe

We will have Mews PMS inkl. Payment and Travelclick IBE + CM with another Payment Provider. We would prefer to make Guests pay via Mews Pay to have the CC Info in mews. Does anyone has an idea how we could handle this with mews?I only know that this is possible with the Online C/I, but we would like to receive the money earlier for example non ref bookings. Thanks for your help!

Hallo zusammenwir haben das Problem, wenn wir mehrere Zimmer gleichzeitig buchen, sei es eine Gruppe oder jemand bucht für mehrere Firmenmitarbeiter, bleibt der Name des Buchenden für Angebot, Bestätigung, Rechnung etc. fix, auch wenn wir die Gastnamen bei "Gruppen" anpassen. Genauer gesagt, wenn z.B. Muster Max 10 Zimmer bucht und ich dann für jedes Zimmer einen anderen Namen eingebe, erscheint auf der Rechnung unter jeder Zimmernummer Muster Max, wie auch in der "Buchungsübersicht".Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, dies zu ändern?Herzlichen Dank für eure Ideen.

Request for Guidance on Reissuing or Nullifying a Receipt and issue a refund receipt

Dear MEWS Team & Community,I hope you're doing well. We are contacting you regarding a refund receipt that was generated in our system—though it's not actually a refund in the conventional sense. A few months ago, we completed a wire transfer and closed the transaction with a deposit. Our accounting team has since informed us that this approach was incorrect. In trying to correct the entry, we mistakenly issued a full rebate of that specific bill and deleted the related negative deposit from items. As a result, we now have a Fiscal receipt that doesn't accurately reflect what occurred. We need to nullify this receipt and reissue a new one that properly documents the adjustment—essentially showing that we refunded the overpaid amount (even though it wasn't a real refund) to reconcile the balance on the bot. Could you please advise us on how to proceed? We’d appreciate your guidance in resolving this issue correctly fo

Hi, our guests often need their invoices issued in name of their company so it would be great if the guest could mention the company name and adress by online check-in. This way we can spare the guests from waiting by check-out because all needed datas are already filled. On weekdays with many guests checking out at the same time it is very irritating for these waiting in line just because we have to fill out the missing datas before we can issue the bill.Generally it would be helpful to print the registration form with the possibility to mention the company.

As soon as we have more than 1 room within the group, the check-in does not work. The guest fills in the form and the data cannot be submitted. This is very tedious and unprofessional, as everything has to be done twice. Is there a solution?We are in employee mode on a tablet.

Hallo,weiß jemand von Euch, ob man eine geschlossene Rechnung hinsichtlich des Preises korrigieren kann?Nach Zusendung einer Rechnung haben wir 3 Tage später erst gemerkt, dass wir anstatt Übernachtung ohne Frühstück für 102,- €, Übernachtung mit Frühstück für 102,-€ abgerechnet haben. Zwar kann ich das Frühstück nachträglich, mit einer neu geöffneten Rechnung, rausstornieren, jedoch kann ich den Übernachtungspreis nicht nach oben korrigieren. kann man dies grundsätzlich nicht oder was muss ich da etwas beachten?Vielen Dank Voraus!simone Strasser-Bumb
