Hi community,Can we track 🚗 license plate numbers in MEWS after they’ve been entered 📝 on the registration form?

Hello,We currently are selling products (as upsells with the room reservation) and we would like to be able to restrict to some days of week the display of the products on Mews booking engine.Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi all,We have setup our automated payment policies to charge guest cards, if a card declines we must mark the card invalid on the OTA and then 24hours later we can try the charge again and cancel the reservation. We would love to be able to manually schedule a 2nd payment attempt instead of manually trying the card again. If the card is then charged no further action is needed and we have eliminated the need to make additional manual checks.Anyone found a way to do this? 

Hi Community,I hope someone can help me: I’d need a report by month for rooms occupied, out of order, ADR, revenue - but split up for every day. Is there a possibility to get such a report from Mews or do I have to download the report for each day and assembly it myself in excel?I hope you can help.Best regards,Katharina

Hello everyone Does anybody have an idea about a good Loyalty/Fidelity/Reward program an independant hotel could be attached to and therefore get an non negligeable advantage and an extra service to attract/retain their new/frequents guests ? Preferably in Europe, but open to the worldwide kind also of course 😉 Thanks in advance for your inputs and your help Stephane

I just wondered if anyone has heard any more about the Mews digital key being available for Salto locks? It has been mentioned before in a webinar, but i just wondered if there is any more concrete information about when it will be available?

How do you setup the Salto integration? I’ve found this help article:https://help.mews.com/s/article/salto-for-mews-pms?language=de… but it seems to be outdated because there is a specific salto app in the mews marketplace referenced that doesn’t seem to exist.I guess the help article still shows how the setup is generally functioning but i would like some information about the pricing and details. 

The rate management in Mews is a bit shallow. Especially the pricing options for special occupancy (children or single person in double room) is really lacking some serious adjustability.We use rates for single usage rooms and had to compromise the way we handle children by quite a bit. The problem with rates is that the restrictions are (also) not powerful enough to handle that so in third parties these rates are just available  so its possible to book a single person rate even though there are multiple guests in the reservation.My question is: How do you manage these cases? Is there anything planned to revamp this lacking features?

Just curious 🤔 — what happens if we don’t allow the Expedia 🌍 integration to create a travel agent profile 🧾?Is it then automatically assigned to the main Expedia profile 🏨🔗?

Good Day.When my housekeeping team members log into their accounts on a PC (not in the mobile APP), they can browse through all manager reports, financial details etc.Yes, I double checked if the rights setting is made for “Housekeeping only”.Just that one box is checked.Any idea why that is possible ?have a great day.Carsten 

Recently we have setup the Mews app with Mail templates sending to guest automatically.  It was all good for Direct booking through booking engine.  However, for those OTA bookings (such as Booking.com), the guest never receive any email setup on Mews (including confirmation email and online checkin etc).  We can confirm the integration is fine (Bookings and rate are synchronized).  We also enabled the option of “Send confirmation email to channel reservations”.  Appreciate your advice what is missing for the OTA bookings.

Hi all,Is there a way to block bookings after a certain time? For example, our reception is open until 8pm and I’d like to stop allowing bookings after 8pm. Is there a way to set this up in Mews?Thank you

Hello!Is there a way to setup the Kiosk so that the “Balance Check” option is only enforced during CheckOut?At CheckIn we don’t want to force guests to provide a credit card or payment, but upon CheckOut it should be enforced… As I understood the help article if I enable “Balance Check” Option it will enforce payments at CheckIn, but that’s not what we want as we want to keep the self CheckIn - especially in the night - as smooth as possible.Kind regards,Jean-Philipp

Hello everyone,I’m looking to configure Mews so that confirmation emails are only sent for direct bookings (Website) and not for OTA bookings via Booking.com. Out of the box, Mews sends a confirmation email for every new reservation, regardless of the channel. Right?Questions: Has anyone implemented a similar setup? I have the feeling there are many outages with the booking.com integration lately, but we only “know” it as soon as a guest calls to let us know they still have not received their key codes. Is there a way to get a warning if the integration has a failure so we can manually pull the reservations before we get a notification from the guests? To avoid overbookings it would be super important to realize an outage ASAP

Hi Community,We are a hotel chain with multiple properties using Mews, and I’m reaching out to other hotel groups that share guest profiles across properties to ask how you are handling the "Match and Merge" functionality -particularly for guests booking through OTAs like Booking.com, where we receive a system-generated email address tied to a specific reservation.When emailing this generated address externally, the message is delivered to the guest via their Booking.com account.What we've noticed - and have seen happen - is that if the same guest has active bookings at multiple properties, and their profiles are merged, the communication can sometimes end up linked to the wrong booking.Example:Guest John Doe has a reservation at Hotel A next week.He also has another reservation at Hotel B in a month.A staff member merges the two profiles and chooses to keep the email a
