It’s amazing how many different varieties of how to calculate the city tax exist in Europe, especially DACH 🤯 - now that was something where EU wide unification/regulation would help ;-)

Did you check or ask support if Mews has a ready made „hard-coded“ solution for you legal environment? They do have them, but as there are so many, who knows … so check it out with support or your onboarding manager (if you are still onboarding)…

(Btw: For us in Vienna they had/have a hard coded solution, but it did not work correctly, as in Vienna we can base the city tax on logis only - without breakfast - but since Mews has no way to know which of our products is breakfast, it can not automatically account for that… but we could model it with a combination of products/rules finally)

Definitely those varieties they come up with are remarkable

I did ask and I think there is a solution for that city already, I am just waiting for the ticket to be picked up. Thought it was quite easy which is why I was relaxed until it was time to work on the topic
