What channel manager do you use to connect your rooms to AirBnB?

Hi,We are looking in to the options of adding our rooms and apartments on AirBnB. As there is no direct MEWS marketplace plugin (like the MEWS Booking.com marketplace plugin) we will have to use a channel manager. MEWS explains how to use a channel manager and which ones work with AirBnB, but that’s about it. No advice or feature list.So, I am looking at the channel managers (with Mews marketplace plugins) that should be able to do the job:Not Promoted by AirBnB, but these say they have AIrBnB support (so I’m not sure what the limitations are)Siteminder CubilisPromoted by AirBnB (and has MEWS marketplace plugin)Roomcloud  Rentals United Yieldplanet STAAHI would like the following to work:Real time update of availability Tariffs and restrictions centrally managed in MEWS and pushed via channel manager to AirBnB Ability to chat with AirBnB guests via MEWS chat (like Booking.com Marketplace plugin does) So, I would really appreciate any feedback on these channel managers. Can I have Multiple Reservations on one invoice?

A travel agency has 3 reservations on the books.They paid for all 3 with a single wire transfer. I would like to issue a single invoice with the 3 Reservations, such that I can record the single payment. I do not want to split the payment into 3 parts.We preach the Golden Rule → What Happens in real life is recorded in the system Is this possible?  Or do I have to move the 3 rooms under a single bill? Thank you ;)Ethan Client will be sending a SINGLE wire for the full amount of all three reservations.

Automatic Settlement - only charge certain products

Hi Mewsers, I was wondering if someone could help me with the automatic settlement rules.As per policy we want to charge reservations a couple of days in advance. This has been set as an automatic settlement rule for the different rate groups. We offer both RO and BB rates. If a guest books a BB rate, the breakfast product is added to the booking (packaged). In the rate group we’ve selected to charge both nights and products in order to charge the package as a whole instead of only the nights. However, with the products enabled, all items are now charged (ie. parking, museum tickets...), which we of course do not want. How are you all coping with this?

HiI have set up my hotels so that the staff can "ignore the cleaning" for some of our guests' stays.I checked the box in the stay options.But nothing to do, I do not have the option when the status of a reservation check-inCan you help me?

Mews terminal receipts

We want to configure the printing options of our Mews Terminal, so it only prints the customers receipt. A couple of weeks ago our management decided it was not necesary printing the merchant’s receipt anymorte and we always get up having a copy at the end. Is there a way we can customize that? thanks in advance.

VAT number on invoice.

Dear Mews friends,I am having a problem with the listing of our VAT number on the invoices. The data of the customer is clearly listed including his VAT number, but our VAT number is not listed on the invoice. This data is entered correctly in settings, property, and general settings. Our own data are mentioned twice on the invoice.Below the example.

Voucher for a specific time period?

We want to make a Special Rate that is available from April 1 - April 30th. I can make the Rate.I can make the Voucher -> And set the dates the Voucher is valid.I can make a booking engine for that voucher. I can’t seem to find where to restrict the dates that the Rate/Voucher is applicable. I’m sure this is blindingly obvious and I forgot …

Hi,Wij zouden graag via Mews een feedback formulier naar de gasten willen sturen nadat zij bij ons hebben verbleven. Hoe doen jullie dit en wat voor formulier gebruiken jullie hiervoor?Ik begrijp dat we de mail templates hiervoor kunnen gebruiken, maar ik weet niet zo goed wat voor formulier wij hiervoor het beste kunnen gebruiken? Ik weet dat Mews hun eigen survey heeft, kunnen wij hier ook gebruik van maken en aanpassen naar onze eigen wensen?

No warning of overbooking through reservation prolongation via properties

Hi everybody,we recently stumbled  across the challenge that it is possible (independent of the role and rights) to overbook a property if you follow following steps:Case:Guest wants to prolong his stay for another night and the reservation team did not check the availability for the next day (the hotel is fully booked on the next day) Reservation is opened with click on manage under properties tab the departure date is prolonged for one night no warning appears that there is no availability, it only shows that the change was successfull the timeline, however, now shows that we are overbookedI do have two big problems with that:Everybody, no matter the role and rights can overbook the hotel via this way there is no warning whatsoever, that the hotel will be overbooked when prolonging this guest’s stayDoes anybody know a way how to avoid this? Please do not say, check availability first ;). Thank you and kind regardsTobias

Add a restriction to require minimum 2 night bookings if arrival date is more than 30 days away?

Hi Mews Community.  Does anyone know how I can create restrictions in MEWS to accomplish the following:If the date of arrival is more than 30 days away, a booking needs to have a minimum of 2 nights.  (New one night bookings are only to be allowed if arrival date is closer than 30 days from now.) (Will apply to an Exact Rate)I have tried a few things in Services > Stay > Restrictions but cannot seem to get it to work.

I understood that in that case it’d be better to create a new bookable service in order to registrate these time slots. Keeping track of Extra beds and baby cots

Hi all,How do you manage the tracking of your rollaway beds / baby cots at your location?We would like to find a way to associate the product with a reservation. To be noted, we only have a few of those on site and don’t always charge for their placement. Furthermore, the product report does not show which reservations have the product charged anyways.How do you keep track with how many beds are already confirmed or placed into the rooms with Mews? At this time we are using an excel sheet. Creating the bookable service seem to confusing and not mistake-proof..Thanks for your tips on that!

Difference with Expedia Bookings

Hey at all We do have a challenge with the 2-way connection between Expedia - Siteminder - Mews The prices we sent out from MEWS comes 1:1 to Siteminder. From Siteminder to Expedia we charge + € 5 and + 5%  All the time when we receive a Expedia Booking in MEWS we need to change the price manually.Any Ideas, why the prices are incorrect?With booking.com we do not have this problems and they do have the same set up. Looking forward to your help

Extra bed pricing per room type

Hi,I’d like your advice on the following dilemma.We have 2 apartments, which we offer as apartments for 2 people. Each apartment has two extra bedrooms, which we open up for 3+ or 5+ guests (using extra beds function). As apartment 2 has larger extra bedrooms than the apartment 1, we would like to use different prices per extra bed (€55 per extra bed in apartment 1 and €75 per extra bed in apartment 2).As far as I can see, it is not possible to specify extra bed price per room type (or override the extra bed price per room type).Has anybody else had this issue, and if so how did you solve it?I’m thinking along the following lines:I suppose I could add a new tariff group for each apartment with it’s own tariff (based on the standard tariff), and set the extra bed price in each tariff. But that I suppose would require restrictions (to make each apartment only available to it’s dedicated tariff).As these apartments will also be made available through channel managers (with linked tariffs,

Mail Templates champion needed

Alright, who is a champion on the Mail Templates?Essentially, I assume (and we all know how good that is) that if I see a mail template, in the list, it is being sent out. There is no way to draft as I do not see a on/off switch, is that the case?As well, I see something on the list, buuuuuut I know it isn't being sent out.
