@Kayleigh @Jamilla Brown any thoughts?
I agree, I do not think this overview is clear at the moment. The filters do not work properly.
I liked to 'old' version better. Especially, for the rate groups, it would be usefull to see which rates are connected to a specific rate group instead of seeing for instance 4 rates connected to X rate group.
As far as for the vouchers, I start to get used to it and at least we still have the option to filter company/travel agency/etc and it is nice to be able to search by a name.
The rate overview however is completely unclear to me. As Jamilla mentioned I miss the option to sort by rate group, as this is how our rates are divided. Also not having all rates on the same page anymore but in a long list divided into multiple pages (without a clear “group”) is challenging. Also it seems to differ per hotel and log in almost whether I get to see the old overview or the new version.
Additionally; we have issues with creating new rates. After filling in all the blanks, it is impossible to save. This problem exists for multiple properties and for multiple users. It seems like a matter of luck whether it is working or not.
exactly the same issue over here…. really difficult to work and manage our properties in an efficient way !
@Astrid Vryghem can you help us out on this? I assume other hotels will have similar issues...
Perhaps MEWS can give us the option to use the old interface whilst they finish the new layout. Very unhandy, unorganised and not an efficient way of working.
@Astrid Vryghem is there anything you can do with this?
Hi @DirkVanGompel thank you for tagging me here. I flagged this with the product and design team.
- The create/edit save issue should have been fixed 10 days go - please let me know if not the case.
- With regards to the layout, we really appreciate your feedback and we’re looking into it - will update here.
Hey Astrid,
Any update on the rate group layout? With the new view, we are finding it easier to use an old school excel spreadsheet again.
Also the view when setting policy exceptions, you loose the view of which rate code you have selected - if you get interupted or have many dates to enter there is no way to double check which rate group you are working in.
Thanks,
Sam
Hi @Sam.C
The team is currently working through some updates to make rates searchable (and selectable) from the rate groups page. This means we will be displaying truncated rates and also the number of rates in each group by default.
For policy exceptions, the rate group or rates which are being targeted are shown when selecting them in the second step, and also in the Summary step. We'll need to consider if there is a way in which this can remain persistent.
We will keep you updated! :)
