Good morning ya’all!

I was wondering if it's possible to change room prices for past dates? Sometimes we have larger groups with negotiated rates, but when some guests (within this group) decide to extend their stay by one more day, Mews applies the rack rate instead of the agreed ‘group rate’.

If I don’t notice this right away, I can no longer make adjustments for past dates (only for the current day). I hope this explanation makes a little bit sense :)

Is it for groups booked by Availability Block with the rate that is automatically made there? or a permanent negotiated rate?

When it is outside the editable window of the property, you can’t make changes to the past nights, but you can make adjustments to the customer bill with a negative amount that corrects the price difference, so a bill item with for example Accommodation product and -1000 amount.

If that makes sense?


It’s just for this one group. We have tailormade prices when it comes to our corporate rates. 
I tried to fix it now just with making a new adding service “Correction room rate” and like you said to enter a negative number. 

Where can I find the option (if there is one) that keeps the same price when extending the stay?

When you say that the rate is just for that group, is it from an availability block and so on a special rate for that group on those dates, or just that you have manually made the the price for the group different from the rack rate, but still on that rate, if that makes sense?

Also are you extending by making a new/split reservation?
