At Unfold back in May, we teased that something big was coming for distribution. Today, we're making it official: Mews Channel Manager, powered by SiteMinder, is now available to all Mews customers.
Why we built it
Here's the honest version. For a long time, distribution has been the one thing that didn't quite fit inside Mews.
We kept hearing the same thing from customers: the rest of the workflow made sense inside Mews, but distribution always felt bolted on the side and managing third-party channel connectivity was until know an inconsistent experience, prone to sync errors and double bookings.
So, we fixed it. We partnered with SiteMinder and brought their distribution engine, trusted by 53,000+ hotels globally, natively into Mews. Not as a plugin or an integration, but as fully native experience available directly from your Mews workspace.
A better way to manage Distribution in Mews
Mews Channel Manager brings distribution into the operating system your property already runs on.
Simply set your room rates in Mews and they’ll reach Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb for Hotels, and hundreds more channels through the SiteMinder network. Every channel uses the same simple setup and semi-automated mapping flow, so adding a new one doesn't feel like starting from scratch. Less uncertainty, less risk and a lot more confidence when testing a new segment or market.
From there, you're in control: manage availability, rates and restrictions for every channel from a single view in Mews, with changes hitting every channel at the same time.
And with every booking that comes in, the more we learn. Pace, performance and where the demand actually came from, all land straight back in Mews in a new channel performance dashboard. So, you always know exactly where your business is coming from and what the demand from each channel is costing you.
This was the missing piece of the loop. Pricing, operations and now distribution, all running on one system, with one contract and a single point of contact for support.
