Hello, Have anyone of you found a way to integrate Mews products with Fareharbor? We are a resort where we sell plenty of activities and packages of accommodation and activities, and we use Fareharbor to manage our activities. At the moment we have to manually make the reservation of the activities in Farehabor when someone books an activity though our booking engine, we manage the payment through Mews and then we select as payment method that we called in Fareharbor “Paid in Mews”. This solution is far from being ideal.I’m sure there are more hoteliers with the same problem, it would be nice to know how others handle the issue.

Hello MEWS community.Does anyone have experience integrating accounting solutions? In particular, we need to transfer invoices generated in MEWS (and their corresponding collections) automatically to the accounting 3er party system (Quickbooks or Holded for example). Is there a recommended process for back-ups of Mews reservations in case of a Mews system outage? How do you know who has a reservation with you tonight?We scheduled a daily reservation report sent to an Email.Does anybody have a better solution for this?Thx Max

First things first: This post dives into some technical details about the Mews mailing templates and therefore is probably not suitable for everyone 🤖.Lets be honest: The customization options for the mews mailings and the entire mailing handling is a bit lacking 🫠.Especially frustrating is that mews adds content around the actual mailing so even if you edit these templates there is still a logo on top you probably don’t want in this form and some text at the bottom 😩.I know that Mews is probably aiming for a very stress free system that mostly just works out of the box but i don’t think they should hinder “power users” unnecessarily that need to adjust these (fully) 😉.–––Right now i am exploring ways to tackle this problem and to bring our Mews mailings to a visual level that is appropriate and matching our other communication 🙌.The first step was looking into the mailings code and search for ways to handl

Mich verwundert es sehr, dass es hier offensichtlich niemanden gibt, den die monatliche Zeitachse irritiert. Es gibt eine Ansicht nach Stunden, eine für eine Woche und eine für ein Jahr. Was fehlt ist die Monatsansicht für ca 30 Tage, diese ist bei MEWS fälschlicherweise eine Jahresansicht. Ich möchte doch gerne sehen können, was die nächsten Wochen auf uns zukommt und wir wir dran schrauben müssen. Bitte, es kann doch doch nicht schwierig sein diese Monatsansicht zu ermöglichen. Oder bin ich blind und liege falsch?

If you use the STAAH channel manager with Mews, do you find that guests from Expedia bookings always have their nationality set as USA and their address set as the Expedia headquarters address?

We started using Mews a few days ago and we noticed one thing during the first conversation a few months ago that was problematic for us: Mews cannot link guest profiles with each other.This is not an absolute deal breaker, but for us as a holiday hotel it is extremely common for such connections to exist.Basically, I have the impression that Mews is more geared towards city hotels than holiday hotels, but I just wanted to ask the community what you think about this topic?Would it be interesting for you to link profiles with each other, for example to make family members or friends or other relationships between people visible?Would love to hear your opinion about that! We are in the unfortunate position of having to use Synxis because of a membership/partnership agreement. I feel like a small part of me dies every time i have to update or change anything in the Synxis system, it’s like time travel but not in a good or fun way.Does anyone have any good tips about handling dynamic package products that come via Synxis into Mews? Right now we are handling using Zapier to check Synxis reservations if there is some dynamic package product included, then adjusting the reservation in Mews accordingly.Has anyone found a better way of linking Synxis dynamic package products to Mews products?So this is extras not linked to a particular rate or “static package”, things chosen extra by the guest like for example a bottle of wine, or a fruit platter etc.

Are there any free options to continue automatically listing rates with Google Hotel Search after it ends its integration with Mews on July 1?    On May 10, we received this email from MEWS announcing the discontinuation of the program. We appreciated the ability to list on Google Hotels via the MEWS integration in the past. Looking back at my time at Mews, we’ve grown our tech teams with a great mix of people with and without hospitality experience. What I’ve noticed (coming from a hospitality background) is that I’ve taken a lot of what I know about the industry for granted.
