Hello,is there a way to hide the room rate on the reservation confirmation when the guest has made their booking through an OTA that will pay for the room with a VCC? Our issue is with Expedia bookings that are paid with Expedia VCC; and we receive Expedia reservations through iHotelier channel manager.I know that there is a general setting to exclude reservation confirmation sending for bookings through a channel manager, and that the email editor has a condition ‘Unless there is a travel agency’ available, and that by configuring billing automation the room charges can be directed to the OTA. We do want to send the reservation confirmation to the guests booking through an OTA  We would like exclude specific OTA bookings, like Expedia channel-collect bookings, from having the room rate displayed.  I believe - I do NOT know as I haven’t tested this - the billing automation cannot be modified so that the room charges are routed to

Ist es richtig, dass man die auszuwählenden Klassifizierungen (Fluggesellschaft, Militär, wichtig,...) nicht ändern kann? Ist das in nächster Zeit geplant? Das wäre sehr wichtig - sicher nicht nur für uns. Vor allem in Bezug auf unser CRM für die Übertragung der Kundenkategorie… Bitte um Rückmeldung! 

What is going on with the rate management? Until yesterday I could simply select a date, a window would open up, and I could override the price.Now I first have to select the date, then a window opens with the pricing details, then I have to select ‘edit’, then I have to select the date, and only then can I change the price (‘Base price (incl. tax)’*)Is this something temporary? 

Hallo zusammen,wir haben aktuell das Thema mit der MEWS WBE und der SIchtbarkeit auf Google (Google Ads)Als Partner arbeiten wir aktuell mit Rategain zusammen.Dies funktioniert nur so “semi” erfolgreich, wir haben in manchen Hotels die volle Funktion, in manchen werden wir zwar als günstigste Plattform angezeigt wenn man dann aber den entsprechende Link anklickt stimmt der auf google angezeigte Preis nicht mit der WBE überein.Habt ihr hier Erfahrungen?Wir wollen vermeiden auf eine andere WBE wie HNS oder ähnlich umzusteigen.Vielen Dank für eure Erfahrungen.

Hello, I would like to reduce or change the font size used in customer invoices.The product items are written in large, bold letters! This takes up a lot of space on the invoice. Please let me know how to change this...

If I want to block out dates for certain room types, I need to create a restriction for each space category separately which is time consuming plus confusing as at some point you might delete a restriction and as there are so many, mistakes could be madeI have 8 roomtypes, and only want to sell 1 category during certain dates. That means I need to create 7 restrictions. it would be easier if we could select from the list on which categories it applies. At the moment this is not possible, you can only select 1  category (it’s one or all categories)

We gonna using the new mailing editor pretty soon, and with the merge-tags and conditions there are quite a few very powerful options to customize the mailings.We want to utilize the conditions and therefore my question is:Is there any kind of documentation about the available variables?With the prebuilt conditions i can see that there are different data objects like reservation or enterprise that contain multiple sub informations / properties accessed in the condition like enterprise.logo or reservation.nights. I haven’t found any information about these objects in the help articles so a way to check what variables can be used in there would be awesome.Maybe there is a console statement to log the information of these variables … something like this:console.log( mews.mailingeditor.variables)

Hi everyone,We’re currently exploring the implementation of self check-in at our hotel, but we’ve run into some challenges regarding group bookings.At the moment, when a guest who is part of a group tries to check in via self check-in, they can see all reservations under the same group. In addition, the first person who checks in is prompted to pay for the entire group reservation, which isn’t ideal for us.Since we often work with groups, this setup doesn’t fit well with our operations. We’d love to hear how other hotels handle this scenario: Do you have a specific process or workaround for group check-ins? Have you configured anything in Mews to separate or simplify individual check-ins within a group booking? Any best practices or lessons learned you could share? Thanks in advance for your insights! 

Hallo zusammen, ich habe gestern das Hauptbuchkonto komplett abgeglichen. Nun möchte ich quasi täglich das Hauptbuchkonto checken, aber jeweils neue Einträge. Ich finde hierzu jedoch keinen Weg, so dass ich eigentlich gezwungen bin, alle Einträge neu zu checken, Ein Ticket habe ich bereits beantragt, aber vielleicht gibt es ja auch hier Rückmeldungen zu diesem Problem. Herzlichen Dank, Detlef

Hi everyone,I’m currently renovating my property (30 rooms) and planning to modernize it with key card door access and the MEWS Kiosk for self check-in, so guests can generate their own keys on arrival.I’ve requested quotes from both ASSA ABLOY and SALTO — prices are very similar, with ASSA ABLOY being slightly more affordable.Before making a final decision, I’d love to hear from anyone who has already integrated one of these systems with MEWS and the Kiosk. Are there any key differences between them? Does one offer more features or a smoother integration? Any pros/cons from your own experience? Hello, we had the change for the E-Mail templates and need to create them completely new.But when we want du save and update them it never update.It shoul be updatetd after 1 hour. Hey guys, Im back back with my anual question! At the moment, when someone checks in via the portal, their reservation does not automatically get started on the day of arrival.Our third-party communication software now allows us to use the deep link for the Mews guest portal, so I’d like to switch to using the Mews guest portal instead.I need the possibility to automatically start all reservations where guests have checked in online at their check-in time. Since everything is prepaid at our properties, this wouldn’t be an issue.Is there a solution for this? That would be great!Cheers,Hendrik

We gonna use the new Mews mailing editor soon and there is one question i have:How do i copy contents from one mailing to another?Create the same contents over and over via the editor interface is extremely tedious so there has to be a way to copy these contents i guess … i’ve found a “import” menu point that is accessible via the three dots menu so maybe there is a way to import a template. Any infos on that?

Hi there!There is an “Import” button under the three-doted menu button in the Email template builder: Does anybody know what that does? It opens a file open dialog where .json files can be selected, but what kind of json files are supposed to be imported?I looked at the help file but found nothing explaining it. Vielleicht habe ich es nicht richtig verstanden: Preise und Restriktionen kann man für alle Zeiträume eingebenBuchbarkeit ist jedoch auf 365 Tage beschränkt Wie kann ich den Buchbarkeitszeitraum für uns intern und unserer Website öffnen? Oder müsste ich da mit anderen Raten arbeiten? Wir haben Gruppen, die teilweise 2 Jahre im Voraus buchen und können diese nicht eingeben. Welche Möglichkeit gibt es da?Danke für die Hilfe

Hallo zusammen,wir sind von HS3 zu Mews gewechselt. In HS3 haben wir mit sogenannten Dummy-Zimmern gearbeitet, um Gäste auf eine Warteliste zu setzen, wenn wir zum Zeitpunkt der Anfrage ausgebucht waren. Sobald ein Zimmer wieder frei wurde, konnten wir die jeweilige Person unkompliziert übernehmen.In Mews stoßen wir hier an Grenzen:Wenn wir zur internen Planung eine Überbuchung anlegen, lässt sich zwar die automatische Buchungsbestätigung unterdrücken, allerdings erhält der Gast dennoch im nächsten Schritt automatisch den Online-Check-in-Link und weitere Informationen. Das vermittelt schnell den Eindruck, dass das Zimmer bereits sicher sei, obwohl intern noch keine finale Zusage vorliegt.Dummy-Zimmer sind leider keine Option, da sie in allen Statistiken und in der Buchungsstrecke erscheinen, also weder intern noch extern geeignet.Wie geht ihr mit solchen Fällen um? Gibt es bei euch eine praxistaugliche Lösung, um Gäste intern als „Wart

Hat jemand eine Idee ob man Produkte für einen Zeitraum sperren kann?Da zum Beispiel einige Produkte nur für einen gewissen Zeitraum nicht verfügbar sind.Wie zum Beispiel die Halbpension. 

Hi everyone, My Team have noticed that when we look at a guest billing page and they have future reservations the bills do not display in chronological date order.A future stay for next year will sit above the stay for today and one for next week for example and it really confuses new hires. Also, why when we add a new product, it automatically makes a new bill now?This update is a wasting on our property and we waste a lot of time merging bills back together.Am I missing something?Does anyone have any tips on how to revert back to before the last update or to amend our property specifically? Any advice would be great. Thanks! 

I am using Mews direct connectivity to Expedia. I map Expedia Hotel Collect as syncronized rate, but then all my Expedia Collect reservation that are room only, come in as Hotel Collect. Opening a ticket with support did not help, as they say only Expedia Hotel Collect needs to be mapped. It is important to get reservations under respective code, as with Hotel Collect the property is responsible for the taxes, and Expedia Collect is net of taxes and commission. Did anyone run into this issue? And how did you get it resolved?

Guten Morgen!Haben noch andere Hotels Probleme mit dem TSE heute Morgen?Bei uns braucht die Fiskalisierung bis zu einer Stunde, bis ich die Rechnungen bekomme.Um das Ganze voranzutreiben, habe ich die Schnittstelle deaktiviert, sobald ich sie wieder anstelle,habe ich logischerweise wieder lange Wartezeiten, bis die Rechnungen kommen.Von Mews habe ich noch keine Problemmeldung bekommen, vielleicht liegt das ja auch an uns?Ist nicht so hilfreich bei Abreise des ganzen Hauses.
