Hi everyone,
we are currently running the Mews Kiosk app on an iPad for self check-in. Guests scan their QR code using the built-in iPad camera.
We would like to know if it is possible to use an external QR/barcode scanner instead of the internal camera, for example via USB or Bluetooth.
Has anyone successfully used a scanner in HID/keyboard wedge mode with the Mews Kiosk app?
Or is the QR scanning functionality hardcoded to the iPad camera only?
Any experiences or supported hardware recommendations would be appreciated.
