We use the wireless terminal at the Front Desk, and our Wi-Fi is fast. It works very well overall, but there is a delay between when you charge the guest and when the payment is posted to the bill.
Sometimes the guest becomes unsure and asks us questions like:

“What does it say here?”
Often the terminal displays messages such as: -
Enter code
-
Multi currency
-
Various messages about why the transaction didn’t go through
-
Card not read correctly
It would be great if the terminal’s status messages were also shown in the Mews UI, so that staff could follow the payment status and assist the guest when they ask questions on what steps to take.
Just like you currently see a short confirmation in the upper right corner when a payment has been completed, it would be helpful to also see the status before the payment is finalized.
Is there a setting for this? Does anyone know?
