Hallo zusammen!Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich es hinbekommen kann, dass Gäste, die über unsere Website gebucht und per Paypal bezahlt haben, nicht diese Mail bekommen, dass keine Zahlkarte verknüpft ist? Kann man diese Mail ausstellen? ich finde nur, wo ich die anderen Mails deaktivieren kann, aber diese Mail ist nicht dabei.Ich bekomme immer wieder Anrufe von Gästen, die fragen, warum sie trotz Paypal-Zahlung eine Kreditkarte angeben sollen. Viele haben Bedenken, dass ihre Buchung jetzt nicht akzeptiert wird.Leider wird die Paypal-Zahlung in Mews ja auch nicht als Zahlung direkt mitverbucht, wie das bei der Kreditkarte der Fall ist. Ich hoffe, das kommt noch in nächster Zeit.Wie geht ihr damit um? Gibt es einen “Workaround”?Viele GrüßeHeike

Mews  rolled back an earier update in regards to rate update. (For a few days we were able to enjoy a hassle free rate management tool again). Well, now they are back with the same, click all the way, time sonsuming rate updates. Again, instead of being able to simply click on a date and right away overwrite the rate, press enter, save and automatically jump on the next date and repeat the prosess, they introduce a clicking nightmare. Just listen to what the crowed is asking and don’t fix what does not need fixing. you are making everyones life hearder.  

Hallo zusammen, arbeite jemand von euch mit Run of House? Ist das in Mews umsetzbar, z.B. wenn man eine eigene Zimmerkategorie dafür anlegt? oder gibt es die Möglichkeit die Zimmerzuteilungsregeln ausser Kraft zu setzen? Danke für eure Anregungen und Impulse.

Grias Eich, bei uns läuft das Registrierkassenzertifikat bald ab. Jetzt versuche ich herauszufinden, was zu tun ist, um es zu erneuern. Das Zertifikat ist von A-trust - das kann ich auch im Marketplace sehen, allerdings wurde mir bei A-trust gesagt, dass es nur über den Hersteller der onlinekassa geht. Ich kann aber nichts darüber finden, wer dies ist.  Da mews mich ständig darauf hinweist, dass das Zertifikat bald abläuft können die es ja nicht sein. Hat jemand eine Idee? It's come to my attention that there are moments where booking.com doesn't apply a cancellation fee to reservations if for some reason they know they won't receive the payment from the guest. While this is in isolation nice as you won't need to pay commissions on these, it does bring a challenge when cancellation policies are applied in Mews anyways.  How do you find out that booking.com doesn't apply a cancelation fee?What do you do with the cancelation fee in Mews that's automatically applied and needs to be corrected?How frequently does this happen? I would love to hear from you on your best practises in this regard!

Hello everyone, hope you are doing well!Is there a handy solution for the following situations?1. Scenario:The occupancy of a double room changes during the stay. For example: Night 1 → only 1 pax From Night 2 onwards → a second person joins The room rate stays the same, but: Breakfast is linked to the number of guests. This means that either one breakfast is “too many” for the first night, or one breakfast is missing for the second night. Of course, we can manually add breakfast items on the invoice in advance, but then: The posting date is incorrect The product is not reflected in the breakfast report The pax count for the second night still shows only 1 Creating a second reservation is also an option, but then FO and HSK would both need tasks set for “stayover” handlin

Hi!Before I mess around in our demo, maybe someone can give me a quick hint? (The help.mews.com docu is not helpful about this)So, when I change an existing service product (not additional service) in settings, will that affect instances of the same product that have been added to reservations/bills in the past (for future reservations)? Hi All,I have a question. Our main e-mail address is booking@. We need to change this for our invoices.The e-mail address can’t be booking, it needs to be something else like invoice@. Does anyone know if this is possible to change or has had a simular situation?Thanks so muchTamara

We updated all our guest email templates yesterday. We first deleted all the old ones and then created new ones. Everything looks good and polished in MEWS. When I send a test email to myself, the confirmation is messed up and contains several errors. Are other users experiencing this issue?

Hi together,as nice as the new tool for the email templates is. How do I manage to display the services together with the prices per room in the email templates? Especially with confirmations for bookers and for several rooms, the email looks very bad. The services are listed per room and the prices are posted below all rooms and they are not linked to the rooms.The room rate is displayed as the average rate for all rooms. This is completely pointless.By the way, I do not unterstand, why the room rate is displayed as an average rate, however the services, like breakfast and parking are listed everey single day. Normaly this extras doesn´t change the price during a stay. Otherwise, a change of the roomrate is common.However, do you have a solution for displaying the prices per room?That would be nice. Best regardsLeif

Dear Community!I'm looking for some help in calculating hotel's management fees. The fee is based on a percentage of total revenue, but I'm struggling to find a single, reliable report in Mews that gives me the correct final revenue figure.The most logical reports - accounting & Manager - often show differences in the total revenue.Can someone please point me to the specific report you use for this?Any advice on filters or best practices would be a huge help.Additionally, if someone can help me understanding the differences in total revenues of both reports would be awesome. Thanks in advance for your assistance! ​@Mews Community Team ;)   

Hi,It would be great to see at a glance the gateway state of a bill sent on the guest/company dashboard.We can see it was “sent” but it doesn’t mean it was received.Guest/Company profile dashboard Gateway State let us know when dropped - in this example, there was a typo in the email addressWe could more easily identify when invoices have never reached our cutomers.Do you think that would be feasible?Thanks

Hello Mews Community,I recently came across the feature "A Smarter Way to Price for the Seasons in Mews Operations," which was launched on 04/07/2025. We are interested in trying out this feature; however, we noticed that the screen we have doesn't match the one shown in the Mews explanation.Could someone please clarify whether this feature still needs to be implemented on our account, or is it already active for all accounts? Hello! I am still struggeling with my question regarding routing automated payments in Mews Operations - This is mainly an issue for conference guests. They are almost always supposed to go on an Invoice to the company. I used a rate I have created called “KK rom” for all of my conference guests. So since there is no company attached to this rate I can not route it to the company. Would I have to create a seperate rate for all of the companies visiting us for conferences to make this work? We of course have some rates for contract customers that are set up with individual rates but a lot of these will pay individually if they are visiting us for a job but when they are here for a conference it will go on an invoice. Would I then have to have 2 different rates for each company? One for when they should pay on checkin/checkout and one for Invoicing?  We have 100s of companies visiting us so if I have to make an individual rate and then a routing for each of t

Hallo zusammen,ich habe folgendes Problem, dass ich in Mews keine Releasezeit nach Stunden anlegen kann und in unserem Channelmanager (HNS) habe ich eigentlich einen automatischen Close für bestimmte Raten nach Uhrzeit aktiv, welcher durch Mews immer wieder geöffnet (überschrieben) wird.Hat jemand Erfahrungen damit in Mews eine Ratenschließung nach Uhrzeit einzustellen?Danke und liebe Grüße,Jasmin

Bonjour, nous avons mews depuis peu, Nous sommes dans une impasse. Quand je suis dans la factuation, il arrive parfois que j’ai deux factures ouvertes, une à payer et une à rembourser, mais je ne veux pas rembourser. Exemple, il avait réservé pour deux nuits, je l’ai fait payer à l’arrivée mais il raccourcit son séjours d’une nuit. Je lui fait donc un ajustement sur sa facture, et quand j’arrive à la facturation, mews veut que je fasse un remboursement et un paiement du même montant, mais le client à déjà payé la totalité à l’arrivée et été remboursé d’une nuité .  pouvez vous m’aider avec cela ??car tant que la facture n’est pas à zéro je ne peux pas effectuer le départ et comme le motel est plein je voudrais bien récupèrer ces chambres là!
