Youâre not missing a setting here â what youâre seeing is actually a current limitation of the Multi-Property Booking Engine (MPE / MP distributor).
Whatâs happening
In the multi-property booking engine, the first step only allows guests to select the number of persons, not detailed age categories.
This is by design, because age categories arenât standardized across properties (even if, in your case, theyâre configured the same way).
How age categories work in MPE
Guests can select detailed ages only after:

Choosing a specific property, and
-
Moving to the space / room selection step
At that point, your configured age categories (Adult, Child, etc.) appear and are applied correctly for that property.
Important to know

Thereâs no configuration switch (neither in Mews nor on the external providerâs side) that enables multiple age categories on the first MPE step.
