Hallo, wir bräuchten in der Buchungsstrecke eine Auswahl für Hunde (so wie Erwachsene plus Kind, ergänzend plus Hund) da wir spezielle Zimmer nur für Gäste mit Hunde anbieten möchten. Gibt es hierzu schon Erfahrungen wie man dies bei Mews umsetzen kann? BZW. kommt diese Ergänzung in der Buchungsstrecke noch?Besten Dank.

Hi everyoneI was wondering if you could help me with the following issue. Some of the hotels in our group are unstaffed during the night. For Booking.com guests, we work exclusively with VCCs. However, we’ve noticed that some guests check in outside of reception hours, consume extras on-site (such as minibar), and never show up for check-out — leaving their bill unpaid.Through online check-in, we can encourage guests to add a credit card in advance and follow this up manually.Ideally, it would be great if MEWS allowed us to send an “Add credit card request”, similar to a payment request but without a specific amount. This way, the reception team could send this for each reservation and follow up more easily.What are your thoughts on this? Or any other suggestions to solve this operational challenge?

Hallo Mewser, unser erster Monat mit Mews ist nun rum. Unser Steuerbüro hat den ersten Export über Datev erhalten. Da die Gebühren für das Mews Payment vom Umsatz abgezogen werden, gibt es gerade noch eine Diskrepanz. Meine Frage: Wo finde ich in Mews eine klare Aufstellung, welche Gebühren genau von den Zahlungen unserer Gäste einbehalten wurden? Hi everyone,has anyone noticed a change since the update in early/mid-June? I believe this coincided with the go-live of the mail template editor.Previously, when we changed the “Reservation Owner,” the confirmation email sent to the booker would list the individual guest names for each booking number. Unfortunately, this no longer happens.Now, the confirmation only shows the booker’s name at the top of the message, with no guest names shown for the individual reservations. For multi-room bookings, this is understandably quite confusing for both us and the guests.Overall, the default confirmation template for the booker (which we still use) is noticeably less effective than it was before the update.We have tried editing the standard template to fix this, but so far without real success.We managed to show the bookers name for all reservations, but thats not really helpful either.Has anyone found a solution or workaround for this? Hello everybody, Is there any way to set up a restriction so that a certain rate is only bookable on specific days? Right now, I can only manage it by closing off days, with the default being that the rate is always open. For example, we have a Christmas package that should only be available on the Christmas days and not at any other time. At the moment, I have to close it for the entire year (and the year after) instead of simply being able to say that it should only be open during Christmas. That means I need to create two restrictions for one rate. With multiple rates, this results in a lot of restrictions and little overview. How do you handle this?

Stattdessen handelt es sich um echten Schadenersatz, der nicht umsatzsteuerbar ist. Stornorechnungen 🧾 → Beim Erstellen unbedingt darauf achten, keine Umsatzsteuer auszuweisen. Hallo ZusammenHat jemand ebenfalls den digitalen Schlüssel mit SALTO bereits aufgeschalten?Wir haben das Problem, dass sich der digitale Schlüssel nur aktiviert, wenn auch eine Schlüsselkarte erstellt wird. Wenn die Codierstation keine Schlüsselkarte erstellen kann, dann aktiviert sich auch der digitale Schlüssel nicht. Wir wissen nicht welche Einstellung fehlerhaft sind und sind auch im Austausch mit dem Support. Nun wollte ich fragen, ob jemand das System erfolgreich nutzt und evt die Einstellungen beim KeyCutter teilen kann. Danke für eure Hilfe

We will have Mews PMS inkl. Payment and Travelclick IBE + CM with another Payment Provider. We would prefer to make Guests pay via Mews Pay to have the CC Info in mews. Does anyone has an idea how we could handle this with mews?I only know that this is possible with the Online C/I, but we would like to receive the money earlier for example non ref bookings. Hallo zusammenwir haben das Problem, wenn wir mehrere Zimmer gleichzeitig buchen, sei es eine Gruppe oder jemand bucht für mehrere Firmenmitarbeiter, bleibt der Name des Buchenden für Angebot, Bestätigung, Rechnung etc. fix, auch wenn wir die Gastnamen bei "Gruppen" anpassen. Genauer gesagt, wenn z.B. Muster Max 10 Zimmer bucht und ich dann für jedes Zimmer einen anderen Namen eingebe, erscheint auf der Rechnung unter jeder Zimmernummer Muster Max, wie auch in der "Buchungsübersicht".Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, dies zu ändern?Herzlichen Dank für eure Ideen.

Dear MEWS Team & Community,I hope you're doing well. We are contacting you regarding a refund receipt that was generated in our system—though it's not actually a refund in the conventional sense. A few months ago, we completed a wire transfer and closed the transaction with a deposit. Our accounting team has since informed us that this approach was incorrect. In trying to correct the entry, we mistakenly issued a full rebate of that specific bill and deleted the related negative deposit from items. As a result, we now have a Fiscal receipt that doesn't accurately reflect what occurred. We need to nullify this receipt and reissue a new one that properly documents the adjustment—essentially showing that we refunded the overpaid amount (even though it wasn't a real refund) to reconcile the balance on the bot. Could you please advise us on how to proceed? We’d appreciate your guidance in resolving this issue correctly fo

Hi, our guests often need their invoices issued in name of their company so it would be great if the guest could mention the company name and adress by online check-in. This way we can spare the guests from waiting by check-out because all needed datas are already filled. On weekdays with many guests checking out at the same time it is very irritating for these waiting in line just because we have to fill out the missing datas before we can issue the bill.Generally it would be helpful to print the registration form with the possibility to mention the company.

As soon as we have more than 1 room within the group, the check-in does not work. The guest fills in the form and the data cannot be submitted. This is very tedious and unprofessional, as everything has to be done twice. Is there a solution?We are in employee mode on a tablet.

Hallo zusammen, für einen Kunden konfigurieren wir aktuell die Stornierungsbedingungen. Bei Gruppenbuchungen werden 3 Stornierungszeiträume eingetragen.Bei der Benamung der Stornierungsrichlinie bin ich mir unsicher, ob diese nachher ersichtlich ist auf der Gastrechnung oder die Benamung nur für internes dient.Vielen Dank! Hello everyone, we are currently configuring the cancellation policy for a customer. Hallo,weiß jemand von Euch, ob man eine geschlossene Rechnung hinsichtlich des Preises korrigieren kann?Nach Zusendung einer Rechnung haben wir 3 Tage später erst gemerkt, dass wir anstatt Übernachtung ohne Frühstück für 102,- €, Übernachtung mit Frühstück für 102,-€ abgerechnet haben. Zwar kann ich das Frühstück nachträglich, mit einer neu geöffneten Rechnung, rausstornieren, jedoch kann ich den Übernachtungspreis nicht nach oben korrigieren. kann man dies grundsätzlich nicht oder was muss ich da etwas beachten?Vielen Dank  Voraus!simone Strasser-Bumb
