Hello everybody, Is there any way to set up a restriction so that a certain rate is only bookable on specific days? Right now, I can only manage it by closing off days, with the default being that the rate is always open. For example, we have a Christmas package that should only be available on the Christmas days and not at any other time. At the moment, I have to close it for the entire year (and the year after) instead of simply being able to say that it should only be open during Christmas. That means I need to create two restrictions for one rate. With multiple rates, this results in a lot of restrictions and little overview. How do you handle this?

@wilcoschuitemaker i can assume, that this is the only way to do so. I have tried something different but it was only possible to close a specific rate for the not needed period.

Hi @wilcoschuitemaker ,

Thank you for sharing your message in our community. I’m Nic, and I’m part of the Community Ambassadors team.

Please note, as @Johannes Rott mentioned, you’ll need to create two Close-To-Stay restrictions—one for the dates before and one after the Christmas period—to block availability as needed. Additionally, you can streamline this process by selecting “Exact Rate” in the “Rates” field, which allows you to include multiple rates within a single restriction, reducing the need to create separate restrictions for each rate.

For additional information, please refer to this help guide - Set up close restrictions

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you require further assistance.

Kind regards,

Nic

@nicolai.bueno thank you on the feedback.

Hello,
If the rate is private, you can define the valid dates directly on the voucher.
If the rate is public or distributed through online channels, multiple restrictions will need to be applied as explained above.
