We’re setting up Mews Kiosk and need to choose an Android tablet that works smoothly and offers a good value for money.
Does anyone have recommendations for specific models that perform well with Mews Kiosk?
Also — is there an official technical recommendations list or guide from Mews for supported devices, required specs (RAM, size, OS), or anything similar?
We’re looking for something reliable, responsive and easy to mount at reception.

Hi @JTJ46, we used to have Samsungs Tab A7 for our kiosk. However after a year, the battery was bloated due to continously plugged to power supply. I was peronally not satisfied with the A7, unresponsive touch and small display. We have then decided to replace it with an iPad Pro 11’’ and it work perfecly, even after 3 years. The bigges diplay definitely giving a better user experience. Best regards, Ringga

Thanks a lot for your replies and for sharing your experience, really helpful!
At the moment, I’m not considering the Apple option, simply because we’ve always worked with Android and we want to keep the setup consistent, so iPad is not an option for us.
That said, any Android recommendations (brand + model) that you’ve tested and that run smoothly with Mews Kiosk are more than welcome. Also happy to hear any other tips or lessons learned from your kiosk setup.
