Hallo zusammen,ich brauche jemanden, der mit HotelNetSolutions arbeitet. Ich habe ein paar Fragen, die ich gern besprechen möchte. Ich bin neu in einem Hotel und kurz gesagt:Wir haben aktuell viel zu viele Zimmerkategorien (wurden früher von einer Kollegin angelegt). Das bedeutet: DZS (buchbar für 2 Personen) DZS3 (buchbar für 2 Personen, max. 3 Personen) DZD (buchbar für 2 Personen) DZD3 (buchbar für max. 3 Personen) DZD4 (buchbar für max. 4 Personen)  DZS und DZS3 kosten dasselbe für 2 Personen, der einzige Unterschied ist, dass in DZS3 ein Extrabett reinpasst.Das Gleiche gilt für DZD / DZD3 / DZD4. Die Erklärung meiner Kollegin war, dass es technisch nicht möglich sei, ein Zustellbett über HNS anzupassen.Ich bin aber der Meinung, dass Mews eine Mindest- und Maximalbelegung zulässt und man das auch über HNS einstellen kann. wir sin

Guten Morgen Community,nutzt jemand das Gutscheinsystem von TAC in Kombination und kann mir mehr zur Einlösung bzw. automatischen Verbuchung dieser Gutscheine in MEWS sagen?

Hello!We have recently started using the Integration to program keycards directly from MEWS. We are using version 1.1.36.0 of the Dialock KeyWriter.Unfortunately, seemingly at random, some of the programmed keys are not working i.e. the command is sent to the encoder and one card works while another card does not even though both keys were programmed together by the same command coming from MEWS.We are already in contact with Häfele support and have opened tickets with MEWS previously.We are in the process of trying to figure out the pattern and analyzing the error codes the locks/keys are producing.I know this is a shot in the dark and probably a pretty niche issue but it can’t hurt to ask and try using all possible avenues for finding a solution.Does anyone have experience in the setup of the integration or has anyone here run into this issue and was able to resolve it? If so we would be immensly grateful for any support or sug

We are new to MEWS. To the users that have experience with MEWS and ID Scanning, which ID scanner do you you recommend for MEWS at front desk running windows PC? For example Logitech webcam, any specific ID scanners, etc. Please suggest some options. Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone,I’m currently renovating my property (30 rooms) and planning to modernize it with key card door access and the MEWS Kiosk for self check-in, so guests can generate their own keys on arrival.I’ve requested quotes from both ASSA ABLOY and SALTO — prices are very similar, with ASSA ABLOY being slightly more affordable.Before making a final decision, I’d love to hear from anyone who has already integrated one of these systems with MEWS and the Kiosk. Are there any key differences between them? Does one offer more features or a smoother integration? Any pros/cons from your own experience? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance,Javi

I am using Mews direct connectivity to Expedia. I map Expedia Hotel Collect as syncronized rate, but then all my Expedia Collect reservation that are room only, come in as Hotel Collect. Opening a ticket with support did not help, as they say only Expedia Hotel Collect needs to be mapped. It is important to get reservations under respective code, as with Hotel Collect the property is responsible for the taxes, and Expedia Collect is net of taxes and commission. Did anyone run into this issue? And how did you get it resolved?

Guten Morgen!Haben noch andere Hotels Probleme mit dem TSE heute Morgen?Bei uns braucht die Fiskalisierung bis zu einer Stunde, bis ich die Rechnungen bekomme.Um das Ganze voranzutreiben, habe ich die Schnittstelle deaktiviert, sobald ich sie wieder anstelle,habe ich logischerweise wieder lange Wartezeiten, bis die Rechnungen kommen.Von Mews habe ich noch keine Problemmeldung bekommen, vielleicht liegt das ja auch an uns?Ist nicht so hilfreich bei Abreise des ganzen Hauses.

Hey everyone,It’s not directly a MEWS topic, but:Is anyone experiencing issues with Booking.com reservations via SiteMinder?For about two hours now, no reservations or modifications have been coming through from Booking.com via SiteMinder.We’re not even receiving the usual confirmation emails from SiteMinder, and the reservations don’t appear in their extranet either.So it seems to be a SiteMinder issue — but exclusively affecting Booking.com. Other OTAs don’t seem to be impacted.Is anyone else experiencing the same issue by any chance?Just curious to know. Thanks in advance!

Dear community,Can anyone help me out with setting up the age categories correctly? some Booking.com reservations end up with wrong age categories for teenagers.In Mews I have the following age categories:Adult Teenager (13-17 yo) Child (5-12 yo) Infant/Toddler (0-4 yo)These are (hopefully) correctly labeled to Siteminder via Mews marketplace → Age categories.In Booking.com I have 3 children age categories set up with the same intervals. However, when a reservation is made in Booking.com with a teenager, it ends up as a Child (5-12 yo) in Mews. Which setting am I missing?please advise, thank you!

Grias Eich, bei uns läuft das Registrierkassenzertifikat bald ab. Jetzt versuche ich herauszufinden, was zu tun ist, um es zu erneuern. Das Zertifikat ist von A-trust - das kann ich auch im Marketplace sehen, allerdings wurde mir bei A-trust gesagt, dass es nur über den Hersteller der onlinekassa geht. Ich kann aber nichts darüber finden, wer dies ist.  Da mews mich ständig darauf hinweist, dass das Zertifikat bald abläuft können die es ja nicht sein. Hat jemand eine Idee? I wonder, if anyone here is using n8n in combination with Mews? If yes, which automations did you build with it?I seems to be a powerful tool and it would be great to learn more about it.

The Automated data feed to STR for STAR reporting does not include market segmentation.  Does anyone have a fix for this? 

Hi,We just started using digital keys with our Salto locks. It is awesome… We do however anticipate the Wallet Keys to be the real game changer.When it becomes available we will be leaning into it hard and pushing the the tech to our guests through our website, SM, email etc. and hopefully it will be the preffered way of unlocking our doors. Would it be possible to get some more info about what the requirements will be to make use of Apple/Google Wallet keys, and when it becomes available? The next months, this year, next year, 2027? Is the beta program already started? We would love to be a pilot.Thank you!

Good morning ☀️,I hope you're doing well!We're currently experiencing a recurring issue with Expedia Direct Connect and wanted to check if others are noticing the same: Specifically, we're seeing a discrepancy of €0.01 💶 between the booked rate and the amount charged via the Virtual Credit Card (VCC) 💳 provided by Expedia.This happens quite frequently and seems to be related to either rounding differences 🧮, tax or fee handling 💼, or possibly even currency conversion logic 🔄, even when the transactions are in EUR.Have you observed similar mismatches on your end? 🤔 If so, how are you handling or reconciling them in your system?Would really appreciate any insights or shared experiences 🙏
