Mews Marketplace

Hi there, we have recently implemented Revinate CRM which integrates with MEWS.  I understand that there are many MEWS/Revinate customers.We have had various serious and concerning issues (mostly around features defined in the sales deck not being in the actual product) but we have serious concerns around their subscription status integration logic with MEWS.Their set-up is such that if an existing subscribed guest booked with MEWS, but did not check the opt in to emails GDPR comliant box, Revinate unsubscribes the guests.This strikes us as incredibly odd - as it is makes no commercial sense (high value guests and engaged guests are being unsubscribed) but it does not align with GDPR as the guest is not making an active, explicit decision to unsubscribe.We have spoken to Revinate and they have given us a few options:1. to move to another consent logic - to bring all through as Implicit Consent (we woduln’t be able to email them anyway as they’r

I am surprised that I couldn’t find any thread discussing this issue.Maybe I am the only one with this problemFor the past month, I’ve tried everything, but Booking.com continues to remove all links from every email we send. This prevents us from sharing the online check-in link or Mews Messages link with our guests.My booking.com account manager suggested writing out the link instead of using a button, but that didn’t work either.I even added the „app.mews.com“ link to Booking.com whitelist - „your approved links“The account manager is aware of the issue but hasn’t provided a solution.Does anyone know a solution to this issue?

Is there a way to automatically mark reservations as paid through SiteMinder and Airbnb on Mews? The reservations are paid through Airbnb and we need the guest balance in Mews to be $0 in order for our Lynx integration to send the guest their door lock code!

Hey community,  We are trying to better track conversion on our website. We are currently use Google analytics GA 4 and i did the setup with this doc: https://mews-systems.gitbook.io/booking-engine-guide/booking-engine-widget/integrations/google-tag-manager but it does not really work.  Did anyone connect Tag with Mews booking engine and GA4 succesfully? Would super nice to understand what i need to do differently.  Best Hendrik

Hey everyone! Question for those working with breakfast rate setups on OTAs. We currently use SiteMinder and MEWS direct connect (varies by property) with Booking.com and Expedia, and we offer breakfast-inclusive rates.The challenge we keep running into is that when we change breakfast pricing, we basically have to reload the rates from scratch. Simply updating the product price in MEWS is not an option, since any modifications to previously reservations would overwrite historical pricing and mess up the original breakdown as soon as our guests start the online checkin process. MEWS at the moment doesn't offer the option to block the product posting on previously made reservations which still need to arrive. I’m curious how others have structured their setup? Is there a smarter or more flexible way to set up breakfast rates so breakfast price changes can be applied quickly, ideally within minutes instead of rebuilding everything?Would really

Hallo zusammen,es gibt Gäste, die von der Kurtaxe befreit sind (z.B. Schwerbehinderung). Die Kurtaxe storniere ich in Mews. Gibt es einen Trick, dass beim Übertrag von Mews nach Feratel für diese Gäste keine Berechnung ausgelöst wird? Bisher muss ich im Nachgang bei Feratel, bzw. im Portal, wo ich auch z.B. den Versand der Kurkarten steuern kann, immer die Daten manuell ändern.Viele Grüße von HelgolandKlaus

Guten Morgen!Haben noch andere Hotels Probleme mit dem TSE heute Morgen?Bei uns braucht die Fiskalisierung bis zu einer Stunde, bis ich die Rechnungen bekomme.Um das Ganze voranzutreiben, habe ich die Schnittstelle deaktiviert, sobald ich sie wieder anstelle,habe ich logischerweise wieder lange Wartezeiten, bis die Rechnungen kommen.Von Mews habe ich noch keine Problemmeldung bekommen, vielleicht liegt das ja auch an uns?Ist nicht so hilfreich bei Abreise des ganzen Hauses.

(Manchmal werden keine Gästenummer vergeben und damit müssen sie manuell nachgemeldet werden)Und falls dabei Fehler passiert sind (z. Hallo zusammen,ich brauche jemanden, der mit HotelNetSolutions arbeitet. Ich habe ein paar Fragen, die ich gern besprechen möchte. Ich bin neu in einem Hotel und kurz gesagt:Wir haben aktuell viel zu viele Zimmerkategorien (wurden früher von einer Kollegin angelegt). Das bedeutet: DZS (buchbar für 2 Personen) DZS3 (buchbar für 2 Personen, max. 3 Personen) DZD (buchbar für 2 Personen) DZD3 (buchbar für max. 3 Personen) DZD4 (buchbar für max. 4 Personen)  DZS und DZS3 kosten dasselbe für 2 Personen, der einzige Unterschied ist, dass in DZS3 ein Extrabett reinpasst.Das Gleiche gilt für DZD / DZD3 / DZD4. Die Erklärung meiner Kollegin war, dass es technisch nicht möglich sei, ein Zustellbett über HNS anzupassen.Ich bin aber der Meinung, dass Mews eine Mindest- und Maximalbelegung zulässt und man das auch über HNS einstellen kann. wir sin

Hello!We have recently started using the Integration to program keycards directly from MEWS. We are using version 1.1.36.0 of the Dialock KeyWriter.Unfortunately, seemingly at random, some of the programmed keys are not working i.e. the command is sent to the encoder and one card works while another card does not even though both keys were programmed together by the same command coming from MEWS.We are already in contact with Häfele support and have opened tickets with MEWS previously.We are in the process of trying to figure out the pattern and analyzing the error codes the locks/keys are producing.I know this is a shot in the dark and probably a pretty niche issue but it can’t hurt to ask and try using all possible avenues for finding a solution.Does anyone have experience in the setup of the integration or has anyone here run into this issue and was able to resolve it? If so we would be immensly grateful for any support or sug

New to the community, Mews, the industry—everything really. Diving into Airbnb integration now (we onboarded and went live about 6 weeks ago).Any tips or advice are appreciated! :-)

HelloIt often happens in a busy city environment that we are left with just very few rooms on the day.  These rooms can be  snapped up at the same time by different OTA’s which leads to overbookings.Is it possible to block specific OTA’s for certain dates to book? I know i can add restrictions but these apply to all OTA’s. If I add a restriction to the OTA’s, no room will be sold and im left with unsold rooms , but if I have no restrictions, , it can lead to a book out. Catch 22 and far from ideal, but it would be so much easier if we would be able to keep a selected channel of selling us, so we can manage our availability much more efficiently  and maximize revenue
