Mews Marketplace

I know Mews can run on Mac in the cloud, but can it use Mews connector app to connect with printers and key cutters? This is what I find (Looks like you have to run windows) our hotel was going to be switching to Mac.  Install the Mews Connector app onto the same computer as your local devices, for example, key cutters or printers. This computer needs to:be a Windows PC, with Windows Vista or later version, operate 24/7 and never shut down, run on .NET framework 4.8.

Hello Greek properties!We are about to open a property in Athens, and local laws requires us to submit all issued invoices to the local tax authorities in real time. Mews doesnt offer any intergration themselves for this so I am looking here if there is any advise how to best work with this?  

Hello  I am trying to find the easiest way to calculate percentages of sales by platform since we just star working with Mews last month.  I see the easiest way it would be to enhance it, would be connecting the booking engine with the channel manager (siteminder in my case), would you recommed it to me? And what is the advantages and disadvantages to have it separately?? thanks in advance

Guten Tag zusammen,gibt es Informationen, wie die Integration von XRechnung Deutschland in Mews abläuft? Die Integration im Marketplace/Abonnements ist bereits durchgeführt. Schaltete Mews das Programm ab 01. Januar 2025 automatisch aktiv oder muss eine manuelle Freischaltung durchgeführt werden (wenn ja, wie?).Es wäre schön, wenn jemand mehr Infos hierzu hätte! Besten Dank!

Hi! Anyone else here using the Sabre/SynXis integration and having trouble or has some tricks due to age categories? Set up in Mews must be right, because both BE and booking.com take the right rates/ extra fees for children, but somehow the mapping/ connection between Synxis and Mews is not working. Hello, I have been live with the Expedia direct connect with MEWS and been working with support, but I keep getting different answers. I try it, it doesn’t work. I am looking for advice on setting up Expedia Collect and Hotel Collect mapping in market place.We have 2 rate plans, 1 for Expedia Collect and 1 for Hotel Collect. I can only map 1 and I can only select Hotel Collect or Expedia collect.If I use the Expedia Collect rate code with the collect type Expedia, then ALL bookings go to the Expedia Collect rate plan. Meaning, if a guest books Hotel Collect, it books in MEWS against Expedia Collect. And, visa versa on that.This has been a back and forth with support for a month and no solutions from support are fixing the issue. Has anyone else found the right answer?

We are looking for comunicate with our guests through whatsapp and Lacoly solution seems to fit.I want to know if anyone in the community have any experience with this 3rd partie integrator. I am surprised that I couldn’t find any thread discussing this issue.Maybe I am the only one with this problemFor the past month, I’ve tried everything, but Booking.com continues to remove all links from every email we send. This prevents us from sharing the online check-in link or Mews Messages link with our guests.My booking.com account manager suggested writing out the link instead of using a button, but that didn’t work either.I even added the „app.mews.com“ link to Booking.com whitelist - „your approved links“The account manager is aware of the issue but hasn’t provided a solution.Does anyone know a solution to this issue? 

Liebe Community, mit welchem Channelmanager arbeitet Ihr?Hat jemand die Kombination von Mews und Diers und kann mir etwas zu Euren Erfahrungen sagen?Ich war sehr unzufrieden mit Cubilis, da der Setup mit Booking nie richtig funktionierte und ich die Fehelr ausbaden musste. Zur Zeit bin ich mit MEWS direkt mit Booking verbunden. Mir fehlt jedoch AIRBNB,Hier scheint ja die Schnittstelle nicht wirklich priorisiert zu sein. Oder interessiert das noch jemanden?Es gibt hier bereits eine Abstimmung zu dem Thema - jedoch ist das Commitment eher bescheiden.Fraglich, ob es nicht genügend Mewser wissen oder das Interesse nicht da ist. HiI'm going live with Mews next week and would like to know how you’ve set up Expedia and Booking. Expedia:I’ve created all the brands as companies with travel contracts. I want to make sure that bookings made through Expedia Collect are routed properly, so the team knows that these bookings have already been paid by the guest to Expedia.I’ve also made a special rate plan for Expedia VCC because we charge the credit card the day before arrival (we need full payment since our reception isn’t open 24/7, and guests must pay before accessing their room). The problem is that the VCC is only valid on the day of arrival. Now, I’m considering deleting this rate plan and relying on the routing for all Expedia Collect travel agents instead. Dear CommunityWe are opening our Hotel in December and I am thinking about processes a lot. We offer shuttle service to the cable car free of charge. Now I was wondering if one of you has a suggestion of a Software which could be handy to add guests & time and location, so every porter & front desk has access to the information. I would love to hear your inputs. Best regardsLaura 

PHow do I book a group - i.e. a group of 20 corporate leaders where a contract would go to one person and the company would pay with one credit card for all the guests and the entire program etc. We plan on having a lot of group bookings at our venue (rather than just individual guest bookings for rooms) - for instance, small corporate retreats which will require room blocks.  Does Mews have the capabilities of sending quotes, contracts and invoices?  If not, will this be a feature in the near future? If not, is there a "work-around"? Does it also have the ability to create BEO's?

Hello Mewsers Just wondering if it is possible in anyway to have the notes coming from the channel manager to be all regarded as “General” notes instead of “Channel Manager” ones by Mews (see below)  It already does it for Expedia, but that is the only one...Is it a question of mapping between the OTA and the channel manager or between the CM and Mews? Only asking because it would be of great use to me as I’m using the Zapier integration to automate various tasks in regards of what is written in the “Notes” section of a new reservation. When it is a “General” note I can use it but I’can’t if it is a “CM” note… Maybe some of you knows how to get that setup @Mick maybe?...Or some Mews devs? Anyway, thanks in advance for your help and y

HeyaI am wondering if anyone knows how to map connecting rooms in the Assa Abloy Vostio key cutter, such that the keys you punch out opens both rooms in a connecting room set-up.Example - Room 5 + 6 can be made to a connecting room “5+6”. Room “5+6” is the parent room for room 5 as well as room 6. When a client is staying in room 5 or room 6,  it is possible to punch individual keys for them. However when the reservation is assigned room “5+6” the key cutter cannot figure out how to make a key, which will access both room 5 & room 6.Thanks for your feedback.Nikolas
