Hallo zusammen,nutzt jemand von euch Hijiffy als Chatbot bzw. als Kommunikationstool per whatsapp?ich würde gerne wissen ob hier der Online Check-in per Whatsapp verschickt werden kann. laut meines Wissens gibt MEWS diesen “link” nicht frei?Hat hier jemand mehr insights?

We are new to MEWS. To the users that have experience with MEWS and ID Scanning, which ID scanner do you you recommend for MEWS at front desk running windows PC? For example Logitech webcam, any specific ID scanners, etc. Please suggest some options. Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone,I’m currently renovating my property (30 rooms) and planning to modernize it with key card door access and the MEWS Kiosk for self check-in, so guests can generate their own keys on arrival.I’ve requested quotes from both ASSA ABLOY and SALTO — prices are very similar, with ASSA ABLOY being slightly more affordable.Before making a final decision, I’d love to hear from anyone who has already integrated one of these systems with MEWS and the Kiosk. Are there any key differences between them? Does one offer more features or a smoother integration? Any pros/cons from your own experience? I am using Mews direct connectivity to Expedia. I map Expedia Hotel Collect as syncronized rate, but then all my Expedia Collect reservation that are room only, come in as Hotel Collect. Opening a ticket with support did not help, as they say only Expedia Hotel Collect needs to be mapped. It is important to get reservations under respective code, as with Hotel Collect the property is responsible for the taxes, and Expedia Collect is net of taxes and commission. Did anyone run into this issue? And how did you get it resolved?

Hey everyone,It’s not directly a MEWS topic, but:Is anyone experiencing issues with Booking.com reservations via SiteMinder?For about two hours now, no reservations or modifications have been coming through from Booking.com via SiteMinder.We’re not even receiving the usual confirmation emails from SiteMinder, and the reservations don’t appear in their extranet either.So it seems to be a SiteMinder issue — but exclusively affecting Booking.com. Other OTAs don’t seem to be impacted.Is anyone else experiencing the same issue by any chance?Just curious to know. Thanks in advance!

Dear community,Can anyone help me out with setting up the age categories correctly? some Booking.com reservations end up with wrong age categories for teenagers.In Mews I have the following age categories:Adult Teenager (13-17 yo) Child (5-12 yo) Infant/Toddler (0-4 yo)These are (hopefully) correctly labeled to Siteminder via Mews marketplace → Age categories.In Booking.com I have 3 children age categories set up with the same intervals. However, when a reservation is made in Booking.com with a teenager, it ends up as a Child (5-12 yo) in Mews. Which setting am I missing?please advise, thank you!

Grias Eich, bei uns läuft das Registrierkassenzertifikat bald ab. Jetzt versuche ich herauszufinden, was zu tun ist, um es zu erneuern. Das Zertifikat ist von A-trust - das kann ich auch im Marketplace sehen, allerdings wurde mir bei A-trust gesagt, dass es nur über den Hersteller der onlinekassa geht. Ich kann aber nichts darüber finden, wer dies ist.  Da mews mich ständig darauf hinweist, dass das Zertifikat bald abläuft können die es ja nicht sein. Hat jemand eine Idee? The Automated data feed to STR for STAR reporting does not include market segmentation.  Does anyone have a fix for this? 

Hi,We just started using digital keys with our Salto locks. It is awesome… We do however anticipate the Wallet Keys to be the real game changer.When it becomes available we will be leaning into it hard and pushing the the tech to our guests through our website, SM, email etc. and hopefully it will be the preffered way of unlocking our doors. Would it be possible to get some more info about what the requirements will be to make use of Apple/Google Wallet keys, and when it becomes available? The next months, this year, next year, 2027? Is the beta program already started? We would love to be a pilot.Thank you!

Good morning ☀️,I hope you're doing well!We're currently experiencing a recurring issue with Expedia Direct Connect and wanted to check if others are noticing the same: Specifically, we're seeing a discrepancy of €0.01 💶 between the booked rate and the amount charged via the Virtual Credit Card (VCC) 💳 provided by Expedia.This happens quite frequently and seems to be related to either rounding differences 🧮, tax or fee handling 💼, or possibly even currency conversion logic 🔄, even when the transactions are in EUR.Have you observed similar mismatches on your end? 🤔 If so, how are you handling or reconciling them in your system?Would really appreciate any insights or shared experiences 🙏

Hallo, wir nutzen XENIA als POS in unserem Restaurant.Die Umsätze werden auch alle nach MEWS übertragen, nur die externen Zahlungen nicht.Hat jemand das gleiche Problem?Der MEWS Support konnte mir nicht wirklich weiterhelfen und Xenia sagt auf ihrer Seite ist alles richtig eingestellt.Ich freue mich auf eure Antworten :)Liebe Grüße,Friederike

I just wondered if anyone has heard any more about the Mews digital key being available for Salto locks? It has been mentioned before in a webinar, but i just wondered if there is any more concrete information about when it will be available?

How do you setup the Salto integration? I’ve found this help article:https://help.mews.com/s/article/salto-for-mews-pms?language=de… but it seems to be outdated because there is a specific salto app in the mews marketplace referenced that doesn’t seem to exist.I guess the help article still shows how the setup is generally functioning but i would like some information about the pricing and details.
