I have the feeling there are many outages with the booking.com integration lately, but we only “know” it as soon as a guest calls to let us know they still have not received their key codes. Is there a way to get a warning if the integration has a failure so we can manually pull the reservations before we get a notification from the guests? To avoid overbookings it would be super important to realize an outage ASAP

Guten Morgen, gibt es hier in der Community jemanden der Duetto in Kombi mit MEWS erfolgreich verwendet? Gibt es Tools die mit MEWS nicht funktionieren? (oft stellt sich das ja erst nach Integration raus)Hauptsächlich geht es mir um die Automatisierung. Das Restriktionen setzten. Und um die Möglichkeit in Duetto Raten mit verschiedenen Abschlägen einzustellen über eine Restriktion (z.B. die Frühbucherrate). Kann MEWS das einwandfrei umsetzten? Über einen Austausch hierzu würde ich mich freuen.Vielen Dank und liebe GrüßeNina

Hello, we run a nature resort at visitlaagen.no. We have integrated with Zapier to give a better experience using automated SMS giving people all the info about their stay, including the code to the lock box of their exact unit on the day of arrival. It’s working like a charm.However, after having integrated with Booking.com, we got ourselves a problem. Having flexible tickets at Booking.com means that customers are free to rebook their stay at another date. This completely messes up the Zapier integration. There is a Zapier field called “Updated” which is supposed to provide info about the altered bookings. This field would probably help, because we could then listen to that field when it returns an updated booking and change it accordingly, However, the “Updated” field seems to return all the available bookings instead, making it impossible for us to discern the updated ones. Any ideas on how to fix this?Best,Jan

Hello All, we’re quite new to MEWS and this is my first question in this community. Attending Unfold in Amsterdam next week while searching for Hotels I recognized at BobW guest options for Local gym access and Breakfast partners all integrated in the Mews Booking Engine as it seems. Does anyone know what software integration can be used for such nice features? We are in the city centre of Hamburg/Germany and surrounded from nice Fitness Studios and Cafés. I have been working through the various pieces of documentation to setup GA4 and the MEWS Widget with mixed results. After implementing the setup, i opened google tag manager in preview mode as well as GA4 in debug mode to check that events were being triggered. While navigating through my website, events were triggered successfully up until where i would expect the purchase event to trigger. While a purchase was made and all events leading up to the purchase were triggered, the purchase was not triggered at all, as well as no page location or page name triggering.  I have double checked my setup and implementation a number of times with no obvious errors, and also reviewed the community topics (some of which seem to have a similar problem but never got an answer).  Hoping to find some guidance from anyone that has had the same issue. 

Dear reader, I am in the process of starting a cooperation with a new OTA. The reservations will reach Mews via our standard Channel Manager (Stardekk).Anything I need to do so that the reservation gets read into Mews correctly? (eg. should I like a ‘Travel Agency’ or something? Or will the reservation simply drop, mentioning the name of the new OTA?)Thanks ! :-)

Hallo,Gibt es vielleicht jemand anderes, der ebenfalls mit Secret Escapes arbeitet und Duetto als Revenue Management System nutzt? Wir sind auf der Suche nach einem Prozess, wie wir die Secret Escapes Raten am besten anlegen können, wobei die VCC auch automatisch belastet werden kann (Betrag ohne Kommission) und die Netto-Preise (ohne Kommission) sowohl in Duetto als auch in Mews ankommen, aber wir dem Gast dennoch eine Rechnung mit Brutto-Preisen (inklusive Kommission) ausstellen können, wenn er danach fragt. Die Kommission wird automatisch von Secret Escapes einbehalten, daher ist es keine offene Rechnung, aber sie muss von der Buchhaltung gegengebucht werden. Daher müssen die Kommissionen als separater Posten erfasst werden.Vielleicht gibt es hier bereits erfahrene Personen, die uns dabei unterstützen können? Guten morgen liebe Community,wir sind im Januar mit MEWS gestartet und haben riesige Probleme mit der Anbindung an Datev.Wir haben bereits im Dezember die Anbindung an Omniboost aktiviert und bis heute schafft es Omniboost nicht, uns die Anbindung zur Verfügung zu stellen bzw. ins Laufen zu bekommen. Das heißt wir sind buchhalterisch und umsatzsteurmässig quasi blind.Hat jemand von euch, einen Tipp wie wir die Daten aus Mews rein und nach DATEV reinbekommen?Im Grunde ist es ja nur eine csv Datei mit dem korrekten Datenmapping - nichts wildes, aber Omniboost bekommt es nicht hin.Ich verzweifle und wäre für einen Tipp sehr dankbar.Viele GrüßeClaudia Will

Hi there,Is there a way to manage parent room categories when using a CRS connectivity that calculates availability based on reservations rather than being sent per room type?For example, if we have two Standard Rooms with connecting doors that can also be booked as a "Family Room," the issue arises when both Standard Rooms are reserved. In Mews, the Family Room correctly becomes unavailable, but in the CRS, it remains bookable since no reservations are directly blocking that category. The same issue occurs in reverse—if the Family Room is booked, the Standard Rooms remain available in the CRS.Currently, the integration does not support parent room functionality, but developing this feature could unlock significant revenue potential. It would be great to explore the possibility of implementing it.Best regards,Robert

Hallo Mewsler,seit dem 24.02.2025 haben wir ein Problem mit der Schnittstelle Mews Connector zu Messerschmitt. Wenn ein Gast über den Mews Kiosk eincheckt und eine Zimmerkarte erstellt, wird die Zimmernummer nicht angezeigt. Der Kartenerstellungsprozess wird in Mews als „in Arbeit“ angezeigt, und anschließend erscheint eine Fehlermeldung.Ablauf des Problems:Der Gast checkt über den Mews Kiosk ein. Die Zimmerkarte wird erstellt und ausgegeben. Im Mews Kiosk bleibt der Status „Kartenerstellungsprozess in Arbeit“. The trigger for a new booking event on Zapier isn't working, even though the zap test was successful.Which  values do i Have to use for the time starter if I want to search for reservations arriving in the next 5 days?

Hello everyone We are looking for an integration that would help us manage our direct events and groups reservations (meaning not the “block booking” ones) and so we’re wondering if we could get any advice from you Mewsers. The idea, in a nutshell, is to be able to manage everything from encoding the reservation to the sending of the confirmation letter and/or contract Are you using one of those? With good results ? Easy to use? Is the level of encoding’s error or interface glitch with Mews acceptable ? Specifically, I would like to know which integration is being used by other users - the Mews-Booking.com direct integration or the SiteMinder-Booking.com integration.Additionally, I am interested in understanding if you have experienced any overbookings and if so, the frequency of these overbookings. As background information, we migrated to the booking.com-Mews integration and do like the connection however we regularly receive overbookings via booking.com, there is a thought that with the Siteminder -Booking these overbookings could be minimised due to Siteminder holding the availability. As i understand the Mews-Booking.com integration has a minimum pull and push period of 30 seconds for rates, inventory & reservations, while the SiteMinder integration has a minimum pull period of 2 for reservations and a minimum push period of 30 seconds of rates &

Good afternoon everyone,Since our Mews launch, we have a direct connection with Booking.com to edit prices and availability. Before Mews, we worked with Cubilis as our channel manager. A few months ago, we decided to remove some of the roomtypes from the rooms offered on Booking.com.Today, I want to reverse this, but when I check the calendar view on Booking.com, I noticed that the price is missing (see screenshot underneath). How can I fix this in Mews so that the rooms can be sold again?

Gibt es hier jemanden, der die gleiche Problematik in Bezug auf Zu- und Abschläge von Zimmerkategorien teilt? Weder MEWS, noch Duetto unterstützt Personenzu- oder Abschläge, z.B. ein DZ/EZ, Triple oder Vierbett. Hier musste ich ein Add On auf der Homepage erstellen. One of my client properties that uses Mews, also utilises Zenchef as the booking software for their F&B services.The client would like to know if the Mews / Zenchef integration also allows for payment / credit card guarantees of reservations, using the Stipe account associated with the Mews subscription. From what I can read in the integration documentation, this is not the case, but if a community member has a solution, I would be extremely grateful for advice.
