Dear Mews community, has somebody from the Mews hotel community some experience with connecting Mewsto DATEV (through Omniboost)? It would be very helpfull to get some insights from you. Thanks a lot in advance and have a nice day!

Hello everyone, I'm having issues with Mews and my connections to my Channel Managers, specifically Hotel Spider and Synxis.When we derive rates from Mews, starting from a base rate like Flexi and moving to a promotional rate where we apply a percentage discount of -10, -5, etc., Mews cannot round, which creates rates with decimals such as 0.1, 0.2, 0.3... which don't exist in Swiss currency, where rounding typically occurs in increments of 5. When we send these rates to the channels, they can round them. However, if we apply a rate where the client's card must be charged by Mews, when it comes back to Mews, the system doesn't charge the rate the client reserved but instead incorrect rates. This sometimes leads us to having to refund the client for a few cents. Does anyone have any ideas on how to work around this issue?

Hello all mews users! We are based in Greece, and have Mews as PMS, Chanel manager SiteMinder and Mews booking engine, a and their payment terminal and functionalities. So far so good, until a new regulations came live: The Greek government wants us to be directly and lively connected to MyData which is a governmental plateforme.  To make it short, when you checkout and proceed with payment, all this needs to be send to the plate form. So far some people says that mew will be able in a while, other says that mews will not be able to connect, other says that with an invoicers application and not site minder as Chanel manager things can be done. We are a small property and for a start we can do this manually until we have concrete answer weather Mews will find a way or not.  Dear Greek properties can you please send us some insights ? Best

Hotelkit , Flexkeeper and optii are just too expensive . Maitre has come back at an affordable price just looking for something to compare it with.  James

Hi all, I’ve got a problem with automatic mails sent by Mews for Expedia customers.They are all blocked by Expedia with this reason :The file you attached to your message on Wed, 7 Feb 2024 13:17:12 GMT has the same name as a file that was already uploaded. To send your message, first change the name of the attachment then try sending it again. After investigations, it seems that the file in question is the qrcode attached, named qrcode.png Expedia recommends that we use a unique file name per email, like qrcode_uniqueUuid.png to pass the test. Here is their message :Remove the attachment / put the QR code in the body of the email if possible. Add some unique identifier in the file name so it passes this validation

We are using the Mews-Booking.com integration from the marketplace.  The Mews support told me, that age-based breakfast prices are supported by their integration. I know how to set up everything in Mews, but I am not sure on how to do in in the Booking.com Extranet.The Booking.com support was unfortunately not very helpful so far.  Is there anyone here who has successfully set up age-based breakfasts between Booking.com and Mews? What is your setup in Booking.com and does it map and display (children) breakfast prices correctly in Mews? 

Hoping someone has a solution to automate the below.All of our reservations that drop in from our channel manager (automatically segmented as OTA) require manual amendments to correct the segment i.e Brand.com, GDS, B.com, EXPDoes anyone have any tips to automate this change?ThanksDarren

Hi everybody!Is there anybody out there using the UpsellGuru Integration?They need some “Upgrade Product” to map to, in order to post upgrade charges, but the Upsellguru Support cannot provide documentation or details on how exactly that product needs to be set up. We are working with Omniboost to get the Mews integration with Xero working. We cannot currently get the deposit transactions to be coded to a balance sheet liability code, they are currently coding to accommodation.  we have asked support several times but have not managed to get a clear answer that helps so trying here are urgently need help so our bookkeepers can have the correct info!Thank you

Hello, we connected Duve to Mews for our guest journey. Now we are accepting Payments in Duve via Stripe. To make sure the payment gets from Duve to Mews and the guest invoice we need to find the Billing ID so that we can sync the data. Does anyone know how to find the correct infos. Hi,We have the new Expedia Direct integration and are having problems with Expedia Collect reservations not coming in correctly. In my integration config, I have set it up like sorate id                     Payment type99999999               Hotel Collect.Both the Hotel Collect and Expedia Collect bookings are catched by this mapping but the Expedia Collects  come in with wrong daily rates. Also here in Quebec we have different tax requirements for Expedia Collect and Hotel Collect so it would be very nice if the integration could route the Expedia Collects to a different rate. Is this possible ? There is a lot of Info out there about appending an A to the rate or using a different expedia notification code or trying to get expedia to change its rates so that the Expedia Collects have a different numeric id (the number before the A) but I have not succeeded in implementing any of them. I was recently contacted directly by Google to pilot with them for a new ads product. This is apparently more than sending the rates, availabilities... from MEWS to Google - something a lot of hotels running MEWS might already have. The bottom line is spending money based a on cost per click / commission model to rank higher as the OTAs and generate more revenue (which is Google’s promise, at least main assumption). I’m wondering how I can measure direct bookings related from a Google campaign? We run the integrated MEWS booking engine. Without being able to report on the success of a campaign I’m not willing to spend any incremental budget on that. Is anybody familiar with this topic and can help me regarding the backend integration? Thanks
