Bonjour, toujours moi avec mes éternelles questions.  Nous avons plusieurs cohortes avec des hébergement de longue durée mais pour les finances nous devons facturer au mois, quand je fais la facturation je sélectionne au mois et oct, nov, déc etc apparait. Je choisi le mois voulu mais le bémol est que les dates sont de toute la durée de leur séjour et non par mois comme demandé.  Avez vous une manière pour que les dates soit bien le mois sélectionné et non toute la durée.  Merci à l’avance.

Hallo,wir können nicht finden, wie wir eine Rechnung durch zwei Teilen?Wenn zwei Nächste übernachtet wird, ist das für uns ja kein Problem, aber wenn nur eine Nacht übernachtet wird, können wir die Rechnung nur bei der Zahlung splitten, aber keine separaten Belege erstellen. Ist das bei MEWS möglich, zwei Rechnung mit der Hälfte des Betrages zu erstellen?Oder wie sind die Erfahrungswerte bei den anderen Häusern? Gruß Torsten Rolfes 

Wie kann man das Rechnungsformular anpassen?#wenn ich rechnungen die per Überweisung bezahlt werden mit dem Zahlungsziel 14 Tag habe ich mit den Empfängern Problme, da die Rechnung unüberichtlich gestellt und einen Nullbetrag für bezahlt ausweist.

Hello, I would like to reduce or change the font size used in customer invoices.The product items are written in large, bold letters! This takes up a lot of space on the invoice. Please let me know how to change this...

Hallo zusammen, ich habe gestern das Hauptbuchkonto komplett abgeglichen. Nun möchte ich quasi täglich das Hauptbuchkonto checken, aber jeweils neue Einträge. Ich finde hierzu jedoch keinen Weg, so dass ich eigentlich gezwungen bin, alle Einträge neu zu checken, Ein Ticket habe ich bereits beantragt, aber vielleicht gibt es ja auch hier Rückmeldungen zu diesem Problem. Herzlichen Dank, Detlef

Hi everyone,I’ve been trying for some time to find a way to issue partial invoices in MEWS.For example: when we have a wedding at our venue, we send an invoice one month in advance for a 50% prepayment of the total amount.At the moment, I do this by sending a pro forma invoice with a note stating that it is a 50% partial invoice. Once the payment is received, I process it as an external payment and then issue the final invoice with the correct amount, so that the payment is properly recorded in the system.To me, it seems only logical that there should be an option to create a partial invoice for a specific amount.Does anyone know if this is possible in MEWS?

Hello dear Mews Community! We have changed our tax advisor. Until now, we worked with a physical folder, and 7 pages of the Mews accounting report were manually recorded. Now, we are transitioning to a digital exchange with a digitally equipped tax advisor. Are there any comparable hotels that digitally transfer their Mews accounting reports to their tax advisor? If so, what experiences have you had, and how do you work with Excel exports or connections from Mews to DATEV Unternehmen Online via OmniBoost? I would appreciate specific feedback. Hello everybody, I’m part of a new hotel that just opened.We had our first event and we have trouble with the billing. Our billing goes through another program than Mews and we don’t know how to close our bill in Mews. Does someone have the same and could help me? Thanks a lot, Ameline

Ciao tutti, I’m looking for some clarity on the best way to handle a case where we decide to comp a guest’s stay due to a complaint — both from an operational and fiscal point of view in Mews. Here’s the situation and what I’ve considered so far: Scenario: The guest has paid a deposit (1 night), and we want to offer the rest of the stay for free. At first, I thought I could simply go into the Pricing tab and set the remaining nights to €0, leaving the paid night untouched. Then I considered a possibly better approach: move the paid night(s) and deposit to a separate bill, and set the rest of the stay to €0 — this way we isolate the paid and comped items. This would also help if we want to refund the paid part — since it’s separated, we can issue a credit note or refund as needed. I also moved city tax to a separate bill, since it must be paid regardless (either by the guest or by the ho

When trying to download an unpaid invoice as a PDF, Mews only offers only the option to issue a proforma invoice. However, some companies cannot make payments based on a proforma invoice. How can I generate an invoice that is not proforma?

Hi all.I hope you're doing well.I have a question that I hope you can assist me with.Currently, all of our rates across all properties include breakfast. However, the issue is that the breakfast product does not appear on the bills/invoices. While the breakfast is included at no additional cost (listed as 0 DKK), it does have a value of 119 DKK (incl. tax) if purchased separately—such as when a guest invites a non-staying person to join them for breakfast.Our corporate clients have been reaching out to request that the breakfast product, along with its value and tax breakdown, is visible on their invoices for accounting purposes.Is there a way to display the breakfast item on the invoices, showing its value of 119 DKK (incl. tax), without impacting the total price of the stay?I hope this makes sense, and I look forward to hearing your suggestions.Regards

Good afternoon,I am currently seeking clarification on how to display the invoice due date on an invoice. I have not been able to locate a relevant article in the Mews Help documentation.From my understanding, there are two settings that determine the due date:The financial settings, which I believe serve as a general default for the property. The company profile, which follows the terms specified in the contract.If no due date is specified within the company profile, I assume the system defaults to the property's general setting. Additionally, I presume that the due date is calculated based on the invoice issue date.I would appreciate any further guidance you can provide.Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I am searching for a solution which will enable me to save all invoices and bills, as individual pdf files for a specific period - ex. Hello everyone, I am having difficulty closing a customer invoice. the customer left without paying a small consumption. His registered card could not be charged, so we sent a payment link. The customer tried to pay 3 times with Apple Pay, and the last time with a credit card it was OK. But as a result the first 3 payments are pending and blocking me from closing my invoice even if it is zero because it says "being verified". If I want to close it as is, it gives me a negative invoice, but the customer owes me nothing since the last payment has been made. How to remove verification?

Wir haben unser System im November von Suite 8 auf mews umgestellt.Nun möchte ich per 31.11.2024 die Umsätze in die Fibu aus dem Buchhaltungsbericht übernehmen, da wir die Schnittstelle erst ab Januar zu Datev nutzen werdenBei der Auswertung von konsumierten Umsätzen sind die Debitoren mit Null ausgewiesen. Diese müssen doch aber auch gebucht werden?Nehme ich den Bericht "geschlossen", werden die Debitoren aufgelistet.Wir bilanzieren und ich bin der Meinung, dass wir die konsumierten Umsätze versteuern müssen, was auch in Fidelio der Fall war.Welche Auswertung muss ich nehmen, wie wird es von anderen gehandhabt, welche die Zahlen evtl. auch manuell in die Fibu übernehmen?

Hi Mews Community, I would like to know if any of your hotels are facing an issue regarding the management of adjustments and credit notes? In our hotels, when trying to create a credit note, it is impossible to view it and correctly associate it with the following items: Bill, payment For exemple, An invoice for €900 A credit note for €150 A payment of €750The balance should be balanced.The issues encountered are:The credit note is marked as "unpaid," when it is actually a refund, and it is listed under invoice xxx, although it is not an invoice. It is impossible to reconcile the unpaid invoice, as the credit note is neither assignable nor identifiable in the system. (Previously, there was a line in the billing tab.)Are you facing this issue too? If so how did you solve it? Any tips would be greatly appreciatedBest regards,
